Another fantastic experience with Amazing Memories Safaris
5/5

Amazing Memories Safaris has become to me like an extension of my family (all positive). Anne and Joseph are a wonderful couple whose skills complement each other to make sure no detail is missed. I had such a pleasant experience with them in March, 2017 that there was no question about choosing them again and no need to get additional quotes because their pricing is very fair.

Even though this was my eighth trip to Kenya, there are always a few questions that come up. Anne is prompt to respond with the answers. I had chosen my own itinerary and lodging for this trip. But we got a big curve ball the day before I was to leave the states. Anne notified me that the camp where I was to stay five nights (Offbeat Mara - where I stayed last year) had been flooded and they told her I would have to find other accommodations. Anne immediately sent me an email to let me know. I felt a panic. She suggested two other places for me to consider that were comparable prices. I looked at their reviews, got back to her with my choice, and she immediately confirmed my new lodging. Offbeat had a special offer of getting one night free when paying for three. Unfortunately, Eagle View did not offer this. When the change was made, Anne informed me that Amazing Memories would take care of that added cost. Thanks to her quick action, it all worked out.

On arrival into Nairobi, Anne, Joseph, and another Joseph (my Nairobi guide) were there to greet me with big hugs and smiles. After the long flights and the late hour, it is so nice to see such welcoming people waiting. The trip to the Fairview Hotel was short and they made sure everything was perfect on check in. We discussed my arrangements for the next day for my pick up time by Joseph in order to do some shopping and visit my elephants at the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust both for the 11am public visit as well at the adoptive parent visit at 5pm.

After the evening elephant visit, Joseph and I met Anne and Joseph at the Carnivore restaurant where I was treated to a lovely dinner and great conversation. Such a special time.

Joseph N., my Nairobi guide, that I first met in 2014, is amazing at navigating the traffic in Nairobi. His pleasant personality and sense of humor go a long way to making you feel at home.

Communication with the camps was perfect. On arrival, they all knew I preferred a tent with a full size bed and what my dietary requirements were.

As a photographer, my guide Daniel, who I have traveled with 4 times, is a real gem. He is an excellent spotter, even in challenging situations. As a photographer himself, he knows how to position the vehicle to get the best shots. He's a great conversationalist, and always fun to travel with.

When arriving back into Wilson from Meru, I changed airlines. Joseph, my Nairobi driver, was waiting for me to assist with the transfer. There was a three layover between the flights so I was taken to Aero Club to enjoy lunch. The food there was very good.

On my final day in Kenya, Anne met me at Wilson after my flight from the Mara, with driver Joseph. She wanted to know how everything went, especially at Eagle View which was not my initial choice. All went fantastic. She was also able to extend the Eka hotel regular day room check out time from 6pm to 7:30pm which really was nice and gave me time to repack and have some food before I was taken to the airport for my midnight flight.

I can't say enough good things about Amazing Memories Safaris. They are extremely professional, going above and beyond to make sure every part of your trip expectations are met perfectly. They are much more than a tour operator. Their warm, welcoming hospitality is yet another reason why I return to Kenya over and over.

Mussa could not have been a better guide.
5/5

Mussa combined everything we would have hoped for in a guide. He was knowledgeable, capable, responsible, conscientious, resourceful, and had a good sense of humor. I was a little concerned in that we would be spending so much time with another person whether or not we would get along but Mussa really had the right balance of character to make our trip so memorable and wonderful. It was better than I had hoped for and he was always open to our schedule and what we wanted to see. He was very responsive to our needs even if it was just to have a mellow quiet afternoon. We were in good hands and would do another tour with him in a heartbeat.

Detailed, prompt and professional
5/5

I had a few unfortunate experiences when I started contacting tour operators for my trip. Tour operators were slow to reply, were not interested in my business because they felt my budget was too small, or had snarky responses to some of my questions. Although I was not hopeful after those experienced, I contacted Roho Ya Chui and was pleasantly surprised. As other reviewers have noted, Ute is really helpful and amazing to work with. She answered all of my questions in a timely and professional manner. If my questions were dumb or naive, she never let that on in her replies. Everything was explained in documents that she provided, and I really just needed to show up at the correct time and place because all transfers had been arranged and were professional. I don't typically use an agent, but her help made this trip very easy to plan. The accommodations were good although one hotel was perhaps a 4 or 5 star by African standards, but possibly not by western standards.

5/5

I want to join a Group-camping-safari. Because Godson didn't offered a Tour at this time, he arranged that i could join an other group. He arranged everthing around this Tour for me and the Day after i made a nice Day Trip to a Little Massai village and a Massai Market. I had a great time.

Wonderful safari
5/5

A terrific safari experience - thank you to everyone at Predator. Brilliantly organised, lovely 5 star lodges in and around the Serengeti and a really comfortable jeep to travel in. We saw all the animals you could wish to see including a leopard walking by our jeep. The safari lived up to expectations and our guide Shabba was both friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend Predators Safari Club for a first class safari experience.

Very well organized Safari !
4/5

From the beginning communication with Roberto was very good. He gave us all info and details request and propose to us a "tailor-made" itinerary very well prepared. We really enjoyed our Safari at Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire with a nice guide (speaking good Italian).

3 Day Trip to Queen Elizabeth National Park
5/5

We had a fantastic trip to Western Uganda with Dan. We saw lots of wildlife - leopard, lions, elephants, hippos, mongoose, buffalo, crocodiles...and loads of bird-life. The accommodation was very good - really spacious and comfortable. The staff were excellent. The food was really good. Dan was a brilliant guide - I would definitely recommend going with Kisoro Tours.

Amazing 6 day safari with Africa Celebrity Tours
5/5

We (two) did the private 6 days Safari tour to Amboseli, Lake Nakuru, Naivasha and Masai Mara and it was a good choice.
It was an amazing experience to see all these animals in the wild. We managed to see the Big Five beside a lot of other animals. Our guide and driver Joseph was the best. He is a really good driver and he knows everything about the nationalparks and the animals. He tried everything to make a memorable safari tour with us.
I definetly recommend to go to Kenya and do your safari with Africa Celebrity Tours & Travels!

Professional from the planning stage till the execution of the tour
5/5

Well, they keep you updated all through the process from planning and booking to before and after travel informing you of the developments as well as checking whether all is well.

They exceed your expectations in service delivery, as they offer value added services that compliment what you had booked for.

The tour was awesome, the driver was patient even when there was traffic, he could keep calm and communicate to the leader of the group in a polite manner especially where we had to rush so that we could make to do the rest of the activities that were planned.
