Absolutely Amazing
5/5

I went with my wife and my three children and i had an amazing time. From the time we arrived, everything was perfectly arranged by the office and it was an experience being there with my family. Security, activities, affordable packages and the safaris were absolutely amazing including the services from the staff.
Thank you guys @Meku Africa,
Looking forward for more adventures next time.

Great budget experience!
5/5

Had a great time and saw everything but the rhino. Ziggy, our guide, was great, and the whole thing went off without a hitch. If you're looking for a great safari experience on a budget, this is it. Just be careful if you go during rainy season as (at least when I went) the tents weren't waterproof.

We went to Tanzania for our honey moon, we've chosen Exclusive Wilderness Trails for our Safari.
5/5

Everything was absolutely fantastic! After a long flight from France, our guide Dave was waiting for us at Arusha airport. All the organisation that we've prepared with him beforehand went well once we've reached the country. He was very responsive and answered each of our questions . We visited both Tanrangire as well as Ngoronro parks, it was such an amazing experience, thanks to his extensive knowledge of animals species , Dave taught us a lot about the wild and the beautiful Tanzania. We've seen many animals including lions, chittahs and leopards as well as breathtaking landscapes. Dave took us to very nice lodges that he has chosen for us. It was a very well organized trip, all safe and secure with unforgettable memories in addition!! Highly recommended

Great Safari with mindblowing Gorilla tracking in Bwindi
5/5

Hello!

I was lucky enough to choose Gorilla Mist Safaris during my stay in Uganda. I wanted to visit the main national parks (Queen Elisabeth, Bwindi) and see as much of the amazing landscape as possible. Gorilla Mist Safaries, especially the owner Richard, helped me on planning this wonderful trip and I could not be more satisfied. First of all, Richard could advise me perfectly on all different possibilities I had with regard to my tight budget (I'm a student). Secondly, he knows extremly well the area and had a lot of insider tips.

In Queen Elisabeth, I saw a lot of big Elephants and was very lucky that a bunch of lions came close to our Vehicle.. Tracking the Mountain Gorillas in Bwindi cannot be described with words, it's an unique and incredible experience. Richard and his collegue were very knowledgeable and charming, they can sport the animals even before me. I could not have found better tour guides. I will definitely contact Gorilla Mist Safaries again when I come back for my next trip in Uganda.

Fantastic experience, well organised and expertly delivered. Highly recommended
5/5

Absolutely brilliant and fantastically delivered.

Our tour started in Nairobi, we (my girlfriend and I) arrived into Jomo Kenyatta International Airport late in the evening. Mr Kennedy called as soon as we had landed to ensure we had arrived safely. This was typical of Mr Kennedy up to this point, his interactions with us since the first inquiry had been nothing but professional, welcoming and fun.

Mr Kennedy had arranged a night in the Best Western Plus Meridian Hotel, which is listed as 3-Star but we found it offered more than the 3-Star hotels we have stayed at in the past. We arrived late and had arranged to meet Mr Kennedy at 0830 the next day, so we didn't get any time to enjoy the hotel, but breakfast was great.

Mr Kennedy personally met us in the morning and helped us with our luggage to the van, which would become our carriage for the next 5 days. Mr Kennedy introduced us to Kennedy (yes, two Kennedy's) our driver and guide for the trip. Kennedy was equally as welcoming and shared the big Kenyan smile of Mr Kennedy. After a brief chat and overview of our days to come, Mr Kennedy bid us farewell and off we went to Amboseli, with our new Mr Kennedy.

The journey to Amboseli National Park is roughly 150km, with 22km of dirt track, otherwise known as an "African Massage". The journey was comfortable and Kennedy ensured we stopped enough. Throughout the journey, Kennedy chatted and gave interesting facts about Kenya. Our vehicle was fit for purpose and comfortable. It was like a small mini-bus with a roof which raised high to allow you to stand up and have a full 360 view.

We arrived at Kibo Safari Park in the early afternoon with plenty of time to check in and get ready for an afternoon safari. We were offered 3 accommodation options, budget, luxury and premium. We opted for Kibo under the luxury category. In fact, Mr Kennedy offered us a free upgrade to the Premium accommodation, but we had our hearts set on Kibo as they accommodation was luxury outdoor tents, with a real safari feel to it. Kibo's setting is in the shadow of Mount Kilimanjaro, with Kibo being the name if her highest peak. This isn't the forum to review Kibo, but I will say the accommodation, staff, food, everything was perfect.

That afternoon, and for the next 3 days, Kennedy took us in Amboseli National Park, a short 5 minute drive from Kibo. Safari is about luck as much as it is about knowledge. Kennedy drew on both to get us in eyesight of everything we'd come to see. Over the 4 days, we saw Elephants, Giraffes, Hippos, Hyenas, Monkeys, Pumbas (Warthogs), Buffalo, Wildebeast, a distant Rhino and Lions! Along with a huge variety of birds.
Kennedy's knowledge of the wildlife of Amboseli is outstanding. There was not a bird nor an animal that he did not know of, giving interesting facts and helping us take as many photos as we wanted.

Our routine was up at 7am, breakfast for 8am, out to the park for 9am. We'd stay in the park until around 1pm before returning for lunch. By 3pm we were back out until sunset.
Kennedy was very accommodation. One afternoon, instead of our usual afternoon safari, we fancied a trip to the local village, where there was a market and place to buy some groceries. Kennedy was more than happy to take us, show us around and ensured we got what we needed.

All in all, our trip to Kenya was fantastic and it was made so by AfricanChallengeSafaris. Highly recommended and great fun.

Fast communication and catered to my needs as a lone traveller.
4/5

Slightly smaller park (Mikumi) than the main ones, but still a very good experience all round. Guaranteed to see lots of wildlife in smaller groups.
My guide (Daniel) was brilliant and knew his way around and he was easy to get along with.
Hike up the waterfall was also a great experience and a good few days all round.

Three wonderful travels
5/5

We travelled three times with Off2 Africa and each time it was absolutely wonderful. We travelled twice all through Zimbabwe and once through Namibia.
Each time we had a tailor made travel thanks to Beck. His knowledge of these countries and his wishes to organize exactly what will be the best from us according to our hopes made our travels unforgettable.
We had some wonderful experiences such as special dinners on Lake Kariba, fantastic walks into the bush, beautiful lodges and hotels..... and so on.

Organised, brilliant safari and good fun
5/5

I was emailing Geofrey before we left and he gave us advice about what to take and the itinerary for the safari. He said we would get picked up for the airport and I must admit, I was nervous that no one would be there when we arrived but as we walked through the airport someone was there to collect us. The hotel they provide is basic but clean and has everything you need. We did the four day safari with a group of 6 and it was brilliant. The safari was well organized, the camping was excellent and the team (Hilary and our chef) were very professional. Hilary was a brilliant guide - we saw so many animals very close up and he had excellent knowledge. I really recommend this tour - the camping was fun, the food was very good and we also made lifelong friends.

Very professional.
5/5

I had a very positive experience with my safari booking through Giltedge. From the very initial communications everything went very smoothly. Our safari experience was just out of this world - the accommodation, game drives, service - just great! I recommend it without hesitation.
