Trip of a lifetime....and now I want to be a cat with 9 lives and do it again and again!!
5/5

The end of August, eight of us completed a customized 18 day trip in southern Africa planned by Nick. He was our guide on our 10 days of safari through Chobe, the Caprivi region of Namibia and Etosha, delivering us to Swapokmund, tired and thrilled with our adventure. The days Nick wasn't with us as our guide had been well planned and went very smoothly. Throughout we stayed at lodges that had true African feel and were top quality. Nick was well acquainted with the managers of most lodges and his relationships with the staff added to our pleasant stays. It was obvious Nick loves and understands nature and wildlife and enjoys sharing southern Africa's attractions and hidden gems with others. Even though our trip wasn't set up for birding, because we were beginning birders and it is his specialty, Nick squeezed in every opportunity to show us Africa's beautiful and varied species. We tallied about 140 different bird species in 10 days of game drives and river cruises. Besides the Big 5 we saw about 35 varieties of mammals. We had ample opportunity to photograph all we saw and have many beautiful photos to show our jealous friends! We learned so much about nature, the animals, the birds, the country and its culture as we traveled. We can't rave enough about this trip. There are so many places to see in this world yet it will be hard to top this vacation. We will soon be planning a repeat with Nick and Nature Travel Namibia!

Everything was perfect...
5/5

My partner, myself and a friend were looking at going over to Tanzania we wanted to climb Kili and go on a safari but had absolutely no idea how where why what would be involved.

I was trying to sort through websites and tour operators and alot of companies had only specific dates that group tours were starting and if we wanted to go privately we were paying a small fortune . It was looking a bit dire and thought we might have to choose either Kili or the Safari. Until i was recommended Donna and got her email address . Instead of waiting days for replies as i had been it was instant same day replies with incredibly helpful information clear costs and so much flexibility on dates , tour times length of tours etc. After back and forward and myself asking Donna a million questions ( too which all of the replies were incredibly helpful and patient) we were able to do both climb Kili and do the safari both on private tours and extremely affordable !

From the day we booked it we had smooth sailing itineraries sent all the information you want on the country, tipping, safety to our guides coming to our hotel pre kili and pre safari to get us all ready and excited. To both our Kili guides and porters being incredibly wonderful friendly professional personable knowledgeable to our extremely kind hearted Safari guide who we spent 4 wonderful days camping in the Serengeti / Tarangire with.. Amos answered all of my ten thousand animal questions with such ease and patience ..

All in all we were so lucky and spoiled to have gonna with Maasai Wonderings the accommodation food service everything was incredible .

Not only is it an incredible company but Donna and her husband are highly respected within the locals of Arusha , we spent a day in Arusha looking around and talking to some friendly locals we told them who we were climbing/safari with and they knew exactly who Donna was and commented on the work and volunteering they do for the community and had nothing but respect and admiration for them both.

I couldn't recommend a better company/people to deal with

Great Experience - 7 days Kenya Safari
5/5

We had a fantastic tour in Kenya organized and guided by Big Time Hollidays. Everything was according to what we had agreed upon by mail and we can say that the whole tour was according to our expectations. The communication with Allan was flawless and in line with previous experiences from some friends who had referenced Big Time Hollidays to us. We paid in advance part of the total cost and remaining balance upon arrival to Nairobi and everything went fine with no surprises. Allan joined us during most of the tour where George was the main guide (read real guide not only a driver). All in all we had a safe and sound experience, we saw the Big 5 and had 7 memorable days with the fantastic landscapes from Mara and Amboseli in the background. It was a pleasure to deal with Big Time Hollidays and all the personal contact established with Allan. Strongly recommended!

Excellent local company. Great service, great guide, great experience. Speak English and French
5/5

I found about Kilele from a friend, contacted Frank Mella and got a tour tailored for my wishes. We had 3 days climing the Meru volcano near Arusha and than 5 days of Safari (Game drive).

Meru was great! super steap, excellent view, and you do it with class. Every day finished with a nice hot meal.

The Safari with our guide, John, was awsome! One may think that being stuck with one person in a jeep for few days is a hassle, but that man was so knowledgeful, we couldn't have enough. He speaks French and German as well as so-so English.

Would recommend to my friends.

The team of Uhuru did a good job. We travelled with whole family and did book for the first time with a local travel organisation. Then you need to wait what your get. Well everything went perfect. The total program made by Uhuru Abdallah was good and all the pick-ups transfers were made exact on time !!
We stayed one week in Tanzania including 2.5 days safari in Mikumi park. The second week we stayed on Zanzibar

Best Safari Yet!
5/5

Having been to South Africa a few years ago, we thought we had seen it all. Not so. Our safari with Bestday far surpassed our previous experience. Our guide, Emmanuel, was so knowledgable we were able to ask him anything and he always knew the answer, be it birds, animals, trees, history of the country, you name it. We took the four night, five day tour and upgraded to luxury tents and b&bs. The places Peter Charles chose for us were excellent and the food was first rate. Thank you Bestday!

Kenya Up Close & Personal
5/5

My safari with Mwema Africa Safaris started with a prompt, on time pick up at my hotel in Nairobi. Charles & Hassan who was my driver were very friendly & I felt immediately at home with them. Even though I was the only passenger, I was treated excellently. Both Hassan & I toured Amboseli, West & East Tsavo National Parks for 6 days. The accomodation was great, I especially enjoyed the tent accomodation at the Kobi Camp in Amboseli as it was quite different. My tent faced directly into the park. Both lodges in both Tsavo parks were first class, with my room looking over the waterholes where I could watch the animals. What an experience to see the huge elephants etc., coming in to drink. Hassan was very knowledgable both in his descriptions of the wildlife, the parks & best places to see the wildlife. I must say the whole Kenya experience with Mwema Africa Safaris was great & I would not hesitate in joining them when next I go to Kenya.

We travelled with KM Safaris to Kenya and it was an amazing experience. Everything lived up to our expectations; the service, their deep and profound knowledge of Kenya, the communication and the prices. The company was able to match our demands and expectations just perfectly. We would at any time recommend to travel with KM Safaris.

An Exceptional personalized Experience on Safari in Kruger and Timbavali. SA
5/5

I normally go 5 or 6 star with the big names but I took a risk with this young Company and it turned out to be a personalized exceptional African Safari Experiance for my wife and Myself. Andy took care of us and is an exceptional chef cooking for our small group at Walkers Camp. Sitting out every night under moonlight with a fire roaring accompanied by good food and wine reviewing the days sightings. He tailored the program to meet our expectations and then threw in many unexpected experiences. We saw the big Five many times. Lion kills, 3 leapords in one morning, Both he and his Partner have a good knowledge of how and where the animals frequent and spare no effort in finding them.

Great 8 day private safari trip
5/5

We booked a 8 day private safari with Macho Halisi and enjoyed our trip to Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater very much.
Our driver guide Herry Temba was very kind and a careful driver. He was very patient when we wanted to stop to take a lot of pictures and also told us many interesting things about the culture, as well as the animals of Tanzania. He helped us to spot all the big five and much more during our trip.
We can highly recommend the Kudu lodge accommodation in Karatu which is very high quality. The Halisi Tented Camp in Serengeti is well located in Seronera to watch the amazing quantity of wildlife.
The safari car was very good (Toyota Landcruiser with top up roof and 6 seats), the perfect car to spot all the wildlife, of which there is plenty ☺
