Australian experiences Tanzanian Wildlife
5/5

Makasa did a fantastic job for us, two older ladies embarking on an adventure to see the animals. Our driver was courteous, observant and very very safe. We were blown away by the number of animals he was able to point out for us when we couldn't see beyond the camouflage! The only animal we werent able to find was the rhino, but other wonderful experiences were worth the 30 hour plane trip to see. And the birds... colour and all shapes and sizes we could not have imagined out of a book. Thank you, Ali and Makasa.

This was a once in a life time experience that unfolded before my eyes meeting all my expectations.
5/5

Very professionally booked, scheduled and performed meeting all of my expectations and more. I highly recommend Simba Africa Expeditions and I look forward to more adventures with them in the future. Rain or shine the safari was prepared for what Mother Nature through at us being well prepared at every turn. The scheduling of the days events was perfect in keeping me busy physically and mentally at every moment with a mix of fun, adventure, learning and most important relaxation at just the right time - it was a wonderful once in a life time experience from the moment I woke, through the day and once my head hit the pillow that I hope everyone will be able to take advantage of while visiting Africa. Thanks goes out to the entire team at Simba Africa Expeditions.

Machame Route up Kilimanjaro
5/5

Can't say enough good things about Herman and his team. Herman was very responsive and flexible throughout the booking process. Once we landed in Tanzania, everything was taken care for us. We had a team of 14 lead two of us up Kilimanjaro on a 6 day climb and they could not have been more helpful and friendly. The work ethic of everyone on the staff from our guides to the cook to our waiter to the gentlemen who carried our bags was inspiring. Ezekiel and Andrew were great guides- right off the bat they were able to identify our skill level and planned our days accordingly. Most importantly, they got us to the top right at sunrise with relative ease.

The hike was unbelievably memorable- a good challenge but not overly strenuous and scenic the whole time. The price was unbelievably affordable as well. I highly recommend Tanzania Climbing Outfitters.

Personal, flexible and friendly to ensure all needs are met.
5/5

Philemon came to our hotel at Arusha Giraffe Lodge to help us organize a taste of NE Tanzania within our limited budget. Philemon was flexible and informative when discussing our options. He treated us to some local culture during our stay as well which was above and beyond. Charles was our guide for Arusha National Park and a more passionate man would be hard to find. His knowledge and pride in Tanzania was astounding making you feel honoured to be there. Efficient, hospitable and professional people make Aardvark Expeditions the company to make your time in Tanzania a once in a lifetime experience.

Beautiful trip in South Afrika
4/5

In the preparation we got all possibilities to make an individual trip. It was well organised. We got a lot of information in advance. The guides and tours were on time. The guides told us many interesting things about the country, animal, the people, etc.

Incredible time!
5/5

We've spent 3 weeks in Tansania, aiming for climbing Kilimanjaro.
Before arriving there I wrote to more than 30 companies, trying to find the right one.
Mega adventures is situated in We travel hostel (best hostel!!), our first hostel, so we gave it a shot.
From all the companies we contacted, this one was the best one because:
- they are very honest, they told us how it works with the porters! It was very important for us to book with an agency that is part of KPAP, and even though this one is not (yet), they pay a very solid and fair salary. In fact, all the porters I talked to, loved Mohammed as their boss!
- They named other companies in case we insisted on booking with KPAP companies!
- It is the best offer you can find in Moshi!

Now let's talk about the tour itself:
- we got 2 times a day warm food (more food than all the hikers we met on the mountain) and awesome breakfast
- oxymeter
- well trained guides
- awesome and nice porters
- well equipment

In fact, they really did everything to get us on the top safely, preventing us from suffering altitude sickness.

Excellent service and attention to every detail
5/5

I had the pleasure of working with Heidi Bedford. This was our first trip to Africa so I had tons of questions which she answered and then, based on what I wanted to see, planned the perfect trip for my husband and me! Every detail was handled, I was so confident in our transportation and lodging. She even arranged our airline tickets at my request. I have been told I am "difficult" to please but Heidi sure pleased me! I recommend her highly - she knows her stuff! My thanks

Amazing adventure
5/5

Thank you Daniel and Peter (our guide/ driver for 2 weeks). Daniel set up our safari including everything we wanted to see and do expertly. Peter took such good care of us the entire time we were there we never had to worry about a thing. And the animals!!!! From the lions lounging in the shade to the adult female lion protecting their kill for the pride. The cheetahs, hippos, giraffes we saw them and not just saw them but were able to observe their behavior from up close. I can't think of enough adjectives to tell you what an extraordinary experience it was. Anyone that enjoys seeing animals should do this at least once in their lifetime. I plan on going back in a few years. Thank you Daniel and Peter.

Incredible trip, highly recommended!
5/5

I did a 7 day trip including chimps at Kibale Forest, Queen Elizabeth National Park, the gorillas at Bwindi impenetrable forest and Lake Bunyonyi. It was everything I expected and more. I loved all of the locations on the tour and the accommodation and food were all very good. The food at Kibale Forest Camp was especially good!

Tom was a great guide, he looked after me well and taught me lots about the animals and the people of Uganda. I got to see all the animals I wanted to see, Tom found some lions in Queen Elizabeth National Park and he found me some zebras on the outskirts of lake Nburu on the way back to Entebbe which was a nice bonus.

Hajarah was also a please to deal with leading up to the safari, she answered all my questions very quickly.

I would definitely book with Simba again!

outstanding personal service that put all of us at ease
5/5

On July 2017 i and a couple of friends just wanted to experience what a safari is like during the public holidays. Since this was going to be our first safari my friends who have opted to join me in Maun asked at the lodge where they were staying if they could recommend someone who could take us on a 1 night safari. The lady at the reception contacted Moonstroll on our behalf and within a few minutes Namz from Moonstroll came to see us. We asked a few questions and Namz answered all of these honestly and also assured us that as long as we followed exactly what the guide says in relation to safety measures, everything should be fine. We finally reached an agreement on the amount that each one of us should pay for a fully serviced 1 night trip. Our guide was well organized and exuded a wealth of knowledge. He was also the friendliest person who was willing to accommodate all of our interests. The chef, oh my god! , produced some amazing dishes during our stay in Khwai. Interestingly these dishes were prepared on an open fire. All in all everyone in our short-lived trip was quite amazing and we thank all of them for giving us this unique opportunity to experience the other side of Africa that we in Africa normally take for granted.
