Excellent holidays in Mara Serena.
5/5

I would highly recommend Magical retreats and adventures tours. We had an excellent time in Masai Mara in
Mara Serena lodge. The customer service of the tour operator was very professional. They even called us to ask if we like our stay in the lodge and reminded us to ask for the lunch boxes on the day of departure.

The perfect safari-adventure!
5/5

In July/August 2015 we made the „budget-tent-safari - 8 nights/9 days with Christopher and Japeth. After sleeping in the nice freedom-lodge, we got picked up and drove to the Arusha National Park where we did a bush-walk with a ranger. That was one of the highlights, getting very close to the giraffes and buffalos. The next parks were: Lake Manara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro-Crater and last but not least Tarangire. It was a very nice trip: Always tenting in the National-Parks where you get the chance to hear and see the animals that come close to the tentground during the night. The meals, cooked by Japeth were always very delicious , varied and nice arranged. Our guide Christopher is very experienced and has got a huge knowledge about the nature and animals. He sees and hears them where we didn’t notice anything. He is very uncomplicated and fullfills all the desires. His is on a high level. With the two of them we felt like in a small familiy – always in a good mood, a lot of laughing and all the time we felt very safe!!! We recommend „I dream of Africa“ to all people who look for the perfect safari-adventure!

8-day safari trip which exceeded our expectations
5/5

We did an 8-day safari trip to the south of Tanzania (Mikumi, Ruaha, Selous). We really enjoyed the safari trip and it exceeded our expectations. Everything was taken care of by our guide and our personal chef (which we did not expect to have). The only thing that we had to think about was taking photos and watching the animals. You really come up close to the animals. We had a private safari, just the two of us.

We recommend to visit the southern parks for those of you which do not like to see many other tourists. The whole area feels really authentic and genuine. All the accomodations were clean and very fine. In Mikumi and Ruaha we stayed within the parks which we recommend to do - in order to get the early morning and the late afternoon safaris. In Selous we stayed right outside of the park entrance. We also did a boat and a walking safari. If you are short of time, we recommend to skip the walking safari and instead do a classic car safari.

The guide was really experienced and had great knowledge about the animals and their behaviour. The guide was very motivated and happily shared his knowledge with us, also about the local people. We had a lot of questions and not a single one was unanswered! The guide had great English skills.

The chef cocked really nice food and managed to make meals with high variation each day using locally bought ingredients. We further liked the fact that Selous explorer thought a little bit extra about the local people and the environment - e.g. we bought fresh fruits directly from farms next to the road, we ate lunch in a restaurant where disabled people were working and fabricated crafts etc.

We can highly recommend to travel to Tanzania and to do your safari trip with Selous explorer.

Day tour in Livingstone
5/5

Bantu Pathfinders - and, in particular, Patson Chifumbe, were recommended to us by Pearl's Tours in Victoria Falls for a day tour in Livingstone. Patson met us at the border, welcomed us to Zambia in a friendly and professional manner and established our wishes for the day.
Our tour of Livingstone and surrounds was informative and enjoyable.
Over an extended lunch we were able to talk extensively with Patson. His knowledge of Southern Africa was impressive - he willingly answered all of our questions, whether they were of an historical or cultural or political or economical nature. He continued to provide us with a professional and informative commentary throughout the afternoon and he ensured our efficient and safe return over the border. We would certainly recommend his service in Zambia.

Incredible experience!
5/5

I had a great experience with Kay adventure tours, Moureen was more than willing to help and provide suggestions based on my interests in regards to the time frame I was working with while in Kenya. I specifically wanted to visit Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, and Amboseli National Parks in a relatively short period of time and covering a vast distance between each park. Moureen was very up front from the beginning regarding my requests and the total cost, so thank you very much to Moureen! My guide/driver was Mike and he was incredibly knowledgeable about each park and the wildlife and where they may be. I was able to see four out of the big five, which was awesome! It's very difficult to actually locate and view a leopard so that was the one that got away, but Mike tried very hard to make it happen! Aside from that, I was very pleased to see a very wide array of wildlife throughout each park (male lion and lioness, lions mating, lion cubs, elephant, cape buffalo, white & black rhino, cheetah, giraffe, hyena and much more!) and each park being unique in it's own right. My accommodations were pleasant and all of the staff at each lodge were very kind and welcoming. On another note, even when our van had some mechanical issues, Mike was awesome and hooked me up with another ride to Nakuru until he was able to meet me there, so that I didn't arrive too late in the evening. In addition to that, Mike also was kind enough to contact Kay adventure tours on my last day in Kenya to provide a last minute Nairobi City tour and dinner at the Carnivore Restaurant. That was a fun time and the best part was that it wasn't planned out but exceeded my expectations. I would recommend spending at least a couple days in Nairobi and eating at Carnivore, it had a great atmosphere and a plethora of different meats to sample! Thank you so much to Kay adventure tours for providing me an excellent experience on my first trip to Kenya! I highly recommend them! Cheers

A delightful, professional one stop shop for all our travel needs in Victoria Falls.
5/5

From their office in the Elephant's Walk Shopping Village, Pearl's Tours met all our individual requirements and time frames for our stay in Victoria Falls. They provided punctual pick ups and drop offs to our lodge just out of town for our helicopter flight, a village visit - which was a highlight and insight into an unfamiliar way of life - a day trip into Zambia with a very informative and professional guide, and an impressive game drive and breakfast on a private reserve. We were delighted with the way that our needs were met - a friendly, professional service.

How advanced tours have enabled us to experience Uganda
5/5

We have used Advanced Tours for many years, and the service has always been excellent. Patience Keburingi has dealt with our requests swiftly and efficiently, her communication skills are first class, and the many, many arrangements she has made for us have been faultless. Because of Patience many students and staff from a very small English town have been able to have a fantastic Ugandan experience. Similarly, many Ugandan teachers from Namutumba have been able to fly to UK often at very short notice (because of visa hold-ups) thanks to Patience. We have no hesitation in recommending her services to other travellers.

Experienced guide, well maintained equipment
5/5

Contact with the operator was pleasant, within 1-2 days mail back. Pick-up and drop off at airport. We had a very experienced guide, who knew a lot of animals but also how to approach them without disturbing their activities. Also however the guide had 9 years of experience, he still was very enthousiastic and made pictures of the animals himself. The vehicle was well maintained. At the end of the safari we had personal contact with Matthew (the 'boss') who wanted to know our opinion personally. Very recommended safari operator!

Our Odyssey Safari went way beyond meeting our expectations for an amazing experience.
5/5

Everything truly ran like clockwork from first meeting our very knowledgeable and amiable guide, Mytaio (spelling?) upon landing in Kilimanjaro to our return flight to the US. We chose both lodge and tent accommodations and were never disappointed with the rooms, service or meals. Every location offered very pleasant surroundings and several can only be described as breathtaking. After a long day on safari, we especially enjoyed the swimming pools at a few of the lodges. We are very impressed with how Mark and his staff carefully organized our fairly complicated safari itinerary. Their efforts were especially appreciated as our safari was a much anticipated 30th wedding anniversary celebration.

Our tour and safari were amazing!
5/5

Elize & Johan have created a great company that provides an amazing experience. They create your experience based on the feedback you provide them and we could not have been happier! They are two of the nicest and most prepared people that I have met. We enjoyed spending our vacation with them and absorbing their knowledge of this beautiful country, its people, Kruger National Park and its animals & scenery!

The interesting thing is that we found out that they have lived in other parts of South Africa and they could have provided us assistance beyond our safari. We have even talked about a future visit and seeing more of the country. AND bringing others with us! We will be recommending them to any of our friends who will be traveling there!

The final thing I would like to say is that within moments, we knew we were going to become friends! They are an amazing couple and spending time with them was our pleasure!
