African Safari to Kenya and Tanzania with a stop in Zanzibar
Service from Africa Safari Classics was excellent, I never had to wait long for a reply and no question was too small to get an answer. The booking and payment were also easy.
I can't say enough about how great our safari experience was! We loved all of the accommodation, food, game drives and abundance of wildlife. We saw the big five in each country, and each country had very special moments (baby elephants in Amboseli and a leopard close up in Serengeti). Accommodation at the Dongwe Ocean View hotel in Zanzibar was beyond excellent! The staff took such great care of us and the food and room were wonderful, definitely want to visit there again!
Boni and Saidi our safari guides were both fantastic, we really bonded with Boni in Kenya and he went out of his way to find us the big cats, even staying out later than the majority of other guides, so that we could find the leopard in Maasai Mara. We really enjoyed Boni's sense of humor and he fit in so well with our family. We'd love to do another Kenyan safari with him.
Saidi, our guide in Tanzania was excellent too, he was very friendly and knowledgeable and was excellent at finding the animals, he took us out an extra time to see cheetahs after everyone had left so we could get better pictures. Both drivers were very security conscious and took measures to make sure we were safe at wash room and banking stops and Boni went through the border checkpoint to Tanzania with us to make sure we were safe.
We are already planning our next safari since we had such a great time on this one, we're thinking of Uganda and Kenya for next time. I would definitely book through African Safari Classics, we felt so taken care of. It was so great to see you, Maurice, at the hotel and talk to you at points throughout the safari, we knew we could reach you at any time if we had a problem, although we had no issues.

Another unforgettable experience!
This was my second safari with Godfrey. I loved it yet again! I have nothing bad to say about any of it. It was well organized, fun, and unforgettable. I enjoyed the safari guide, accommodations, food, company, and all the extra little details I was not expecting. This trip was well worth the money. I would encourage everyone to go with African Traits for all of their adventures. I have also gone on the Moshi tour with Godfrey and loved it as well. Thank you for everything!

Our Kenyan guide Silas, (I apologize for not getting his last name) and our Tanzanian guide, Simon Mayotte were exceptional! Having spent eight days with Simon gave me the chance to witness his proficiency in everything! Not only was he an expert of the animals, birds, plants, trees, climate, the terrain of the land, the handling of the vehicle but my camera as well! Simon was welcoming, warm, funny, interesting, with a great sense of humor and the patience of a saint escorting two older ladies on their first trip to Africa!
This trip was beyond my expectations. As a first time traveler abroad I cannot praise the efficiency of your company enough. Thank you for helping me to have this amazing experience! I will surely recommend

Incredible experience for our whole family, safari and beach combined into one fantastic trip.
We took a trip from Canada to Tanzania / Zanzibar for our extended summer vacation. Rose and her team provided excellent advice for the trip based on what our family needed, and attended to all the details, connections, accommodations, and contacts if needed. Nothing was left or forgotten.
We went to Selous and stayed at Kiba Point, which was spectacular. Hippo's, croc's, elephants, etc were all seen in and around the Rufigi river. We also did a fly camp, and boat safari. Hamza, our guide was exceptionally knowledgable and ensured we were well informed, rested and fed.
Our second stop in Ruaha showed different game, but was beautiful just the same. We were taken care of by the team with excellent food, rest and guiding. The expert knowledge of our guide here was also unmatched.
Our third stop in Zanzibar at the Residence was a great quiet break with some beach time, (and wifi for the kids) and relaxation. A bit of a rough drive to the Residence, but the rooms, and views were gorgeous.
After 14 days it was home to Canada where we will expect snow within a few months. We will always have the warm memories and pictures to remind us of our African adventure. Thanks again Rose, the trip went without a hitch.

Utterly Professional and Genuinely Caring
Our recent trip to Africa incorporated travel to three countries: South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Zambia. Every connection, tour, and accommodation came off without a hitch or a glitch! This included many flights and even a train trip from Cape Town to Johannesburg. In planning the trip Ute offered many worthwhile suggestions and her response time to my many inquiries was unbelievable. It never took more than a day to hear back from her and usually she got back to us in a matter of hours (despite the time difference). She even went so far as to arrange a special surprise for us, on our anniversary, at the lodge at which we stayed. It's hard to know who to chose as a safari planner, but from our perspective and experience, Roho Ya Chui and Ute Sonnenberg were excellent.

Amazing and warmful wild experience
The trip was amazing. We enjoyed very much discovering Tanzania, thanks to the way it has been organized (choice of the places to stay : the mobile camp in the Serengeti was so memorable and exciting, the Naitolia ecolodge so peaceful… ) and the team : Ezechiel, Wilson and Michael were great. Friendly, efficient, responsible, kind. We ate really good meals in the bush !

UBON made us feel like we had a friend on the inside track. All communications leading up to our trip and during our trip were clear, precise, and extremely helpful. Once we landed in Tanzania, we were greeted by friendly faces making us feel comfortable in this new land. Transportation came off without a hitch and all our accommodations were above and beyond all of our expectations. Our safari at , Ruaha River Lodge, was an experience of a lifetime. A beautiful, luxe-rustic resort with abundant on site wildlife and the friendliest staff and owners we could ask for. Our safari guides were extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic. They brought us up close and personal with the more wildlife than we could have imagined. We will definitely plan another adventure with Beenaa and UBON! 5 stars!!
