Absolute best service you could dream to get. Wouldn't have changed a thing!
5/5

My wife and I went for a one day Safari from Dar and we had booked this trip without knowing what to expect except from the reviews we read online-- we were definitely not disappointed. These guys are incredible for several reasons. 1) Sylwia and Adam do an unbelievable job answering questions, helping with additional requests, and providing flexibility whenever we had a special request. 2) The tour guide/driver was incredibly punctual, safe, and knowledgable about the park and animals. He took us where we wanted to go for as long as wanted, took pictures for us, and we enjoyed great conversation. 3) Most importantly, these guys are honest and professional. There is absolutely no shady business and everything is certified, insured, and done the right way. Just to give you an idea of how great these guys are, we had inquired if they could help us secure ferry tickets to Zanzibar with 12 hours notice and instead, they found us chartered plane tickets that turned out to be cheaper (and sold out online) and delivered them to our hotel for free. Like who does that? Lastly, they have the best value and most competitive prices for what they do for you. Highly recommend them if you're considering any safari or adventure!

2 day safari Tarangire/Ngorongoro
5/5

We had the most wonderful experience with Shemeji! The original plan for our vacation (two people) was to take the bus to arusha and then organise a safari on the spot. But then we heard about Shemeji from a friend about a week before and decided to give it a shot. Emma was super helpful and organised everything in only three days. We got picked up at Venice hotel (highly recommend it!) by our guide Omari and spent two days in Tarangire NP and Ngorongoro crater. We spent the night in a tented lodge called "heaven nature camp and lodge". The staff there was very nice and the food absolutely delicious! The two parks were a perfect balance between forest in the former (giraffes, elephants, monkeys) and open grassland in the latter (lions, hippos, buffalos). We saw even the rarer animals (rhinos, cheetahs) thanks to Omari's tremendous dedication and patience! He really did all he could to make us see as much of the parks as possible! All in all, highly recommended!

Wonderful adventure
5/5

We've had a great experience from the reservation with Minneh until the end everybody was professional and careful.
We enjoyed both safaris and found what we were looking for thanks to our guide even though the weather gave us some surprises on the road our super guide/driver James handled the situation like a boss and he always adapted the schedule to us as we were with two young kids. We are also thankful to the cooks who succeed to always prepare us good dishes despit our strict vegan diet, espacialy Mike in Amboseli who was always very careful. Concerning the camps, we prefered the Lenchada in Masai Mara as it was more comfortable(we slept so good!!) and a very nice and attentioned team.
For all thoses reasons we would like to say ASANTE SANA!! We would definitly reserve with you again if we come back to Kenya.

Absolutely awesome from beginning to end!

The owner of this full service tour agency is fantastic. She assisted my family of four plus another couple and a single all traveling together at the last minute to Mikumi Park. She arranged for our personal driver, game drive guide (who was incredible), overnight stay at a lovely hotel and all meals. We saw a huge array of animals including a lioness with her cubs! Thank you for an experience of a lifetime.

Provided our family with an organized, unique, and exceptional experience of Southern Africa.
5/5

Darren of Compass Odyssey helped created the most memorable trip for our family. Communications prior to our departure were timely, informative and extremely helpful. Darren took extensive amount of time to address all questions and concerns from our group, thoroughly. Upon arrival, the entire trip experience exceeded our expectations. Each leg of the trip was flawlessly organized and each guide was welcoming and prepared. Darren incorporated all of our "wish list" activities and locations and guided us through Southern Africa in the most efficient manner. All lodging, inter-continental travel, guides, and activities are properly researched and vetted, making our experience significantly more enjoyable and stress-free.

I would highly recommend Compass Odyssey to help you develop your trip to Africa. The attention to detail, preparation and overall experience will leave you with the most memorable experience. Thanks Darren & Compass Odyssey for everything!

FIRST EXPERIENCE, BUT NOT THE LEAST (I HOPE ...).
5/5

It is the first travel in Africa for us.
I'm Marco 56 yo, travelling with my guys: Filippo 24 yo and Gianluca 20 yo.
Even if for the first time, we tried to experience something real, safe but non absolutely easy and guided.
We visited Botswana, Moremi and Chobe, with a fast escape in Zimbabwe to Victoria Falls, by Toyota Land Cruiser double roof tends, perfectly equipped.
Megan Warrington planned a travel various, smart, perfect for our expectances; assistance, communications, service, living up were excellent.
We prove gratitude to Megan because African journey is established into our hearts!

We had an absolutely great time with Chris on our safari. He was very kind and professional, and Lutea was very transparent and an incredible value! I highly recommend them! The tour was a ton of fun and we hope to come back to Kenya to do it again.

Great Experience. Would definitely do another trip through Gorilla Safaris Uganda.
5/5

This was a great trip. I did a safari and boat tour at the Lake Mburo National Park. Gorilla Safaris picked me up from the hotel, drove me around all day, then dropped me of at the airport after the safari. We saw all sorts of animals, including: giraffes, warthogs, impala, zebras, monkeys, topi, water buck, water buffalo, crocodiles, hippos, and several types of birds. The drive to and from the park was also like an extension of the tour. The guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic and made this a fantastic experience. I would absolutely book another trip through Gorilla Safaris.

We had a wonderful time in each place we stayed - that were were all special.
5/5

Each camp we stayed at was special in their own unique way. We particularly enjoyed our stay in the Kalahari at the first camp we visited. All of us were very impressed by the professionalism and heartfelt warmness of the camp staff at each location. The guides in Botswana and Zambia were most impressive with their knowledge of flora, fauna and habitat, and the safaris they conducted.

Besides safari, we visited Cape Town and had a lovely day visiting the nearby wineries, and went to Johannesburg and Soweto, which was an important end to the trip - a reminder of Apartheid and the challenges that continue, not only in South Africa but also here in the US.
