Absolutely fantastic!
I have never experienced this level of wonderful service! Even before I arrived, when one of my flights got cancelled, and the travel agent was much less than helpful, Hamadi pulled through and helped. He was very responsive to emails and messages. I was traveling with a group of 21 nature enthusiasts, we all wanted to identify animals, plants, birds, insects and learn about the history and geology of what we saw. Hamadi, the owner of Face Of Africa, engaged a highly skilled naturalist to accompany us and tirelessly answer a myriad of questions. We all felt blessed to have engaged this Safari vendor. The drivers know a lot of natural history them selves and could always find answers to our questions. They really customized our stops long and longer when there was interesting things to observe. The service was so much more than just bagging the "Big Five" (which we did). The sleeping and food arrangements were more than I expected, down right luxurious. I ate lots of fruit and veg at all the places as they clearly had excellent sanitation and, the food was really tasty as well. I felt such a respectful warmth and caring from the staff. Everyone on the trip agreed, we could not think of how to make the experience better. I highly recommend Face of Africa for your Safari, it has been the trip of a lifetime and exceeded my expectations.

Unforgettable safari with Northern Circuit Adventure
We (a middle-aged Polish couple) have just come back from our unforgettable holidays in Tanzania, one week on a safari in the Northern Circuit area and one week at Jambiani in Zanzibar. We searched www.safaribookings.com for a safari operators and out of many offers which we had studied we decided to choose Northern Circuit Adventure from Arusha, managed by Michael Ndallo. From the very first moment we felt Michael would be our final choice. His friendly attitude, enthusiasm and immediate responses to our enquiries were irresistable. What we liked was a 25% prepayment compared to 30-40% demanded by other operators. All documentation, itinerary, receipts and confirmations were first class. When we finally arrived in Arusha, on a bus from Nairobi, Michael was there waiting for us, all smiles. We decided to go on a 4 nights/5 days low budget camping safari to Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. We received what we had expected and even more. Accommodation at Lilac Campsite in a tent with shower/WC was a real surprise. We have no words to enough praise Said, our driver guide. He is a joyful, friendly man with a terrific knowledge and experience. Despite wearing glasses when driving he has eagle's eyes and can spot animals half-hidden in grass from a distance. He can explain all differences between one species of antelope and another. He was so helpful skillfully maneuvering the car so that we could take best pictures. Thanks to his initiative and perfect sight we could see even a leopard (from a distance but nevertheless..). Thank you Said! And special thanks to our cook Sweetbart who in desperately basic conditions could prepare wonderful meals, plentiful and tasty. Lunch boxes always contained more food than we could eat at once. All in all we do not regret that we have chosen Northern Circuit Adventure. They are a trustworthy, reliable, professional team who know their job. We will definitely recommend them among our kith and kin who might show interest in going on a safari in Tanzania.

Perfect safari for a family
We had an excellent trip plannened by Tanzania Explorer. We are a family of five (children aged 10, 13, 17), and the safari was an amazing experience for all of us. Tanzania Explorer found the perfect place for us (Selous in July), we had an experienced guide on the safari, a nice lodge to stay in. It couldn't be more perfect. After the safari, we went to Zanizbar. It was all well planned and well taken care of by Tanzania Explorer. If you are planning on going to Tanzania for safari, we highly recommend Tanzania Explorer.

Obama and his beast are like Formel 1 Schumacher
My husband and me booked a 6-Days-Safari (Amboseli, Lake Nakuru, Masai Mara) in a small group (4-6 people) with this tour operator. No other clients booked the 6-Days-Tour, but the tour took place anyway. Deal is deal! Therefore we were alone with our Guide Obama in Amboseli. The unintentional privat tour in Amboseli was a great experience! We saw lots of elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos and some others. It was amazing to see all kind of animals together on one place. Many wind roses and Mount Kilimandscharo were very impressive in the background. We booked the budget variant. That was the right decision! We slept in tented camps in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by nature with all kinds of animals. Beautiful!!!
On the way to Lake Nakuru we picked up another client. It was a long trip from Amboseli to Lake Nakuru Nationalpark. We were in hurry cause of traffic on the way. We had no more time to check-in before afternoon game drive, so we were heading straight to the gate of the Nationalpark. Despite the long drive, Obama was still motivated and ambitious to show us as much „attractions“ as possible! The first one was a rhino with his baby. It’s very rare, so we were lucky that we have seen it. The second „attraction“ was a whole lion family who walked next to us along the street. Impressive and respectful! Even Obama cranked the window, because the lion was so near! Despite the long exhausting day, we have been able to see some great animals!
On the way to Masai Mara we picked up a family of six. (Obama reckoned with three people!) All in all we were 9 client. To much for the van! Also, it did’t match our booked tour (4-6 people). The single guy had to chance cars. He continued the tour with people who had also booked the more expensive tour (more comfortable accommodation). We were still more than 6 clients, but Obama couldn’t do anything so far in the middle of nowhere without a second car. All of us had a seat, that was the main thing so far. All the luggage didn’t fit into the trunk and had to be stowed in the sitting room. There was only little space to sit, but it was okay. On arrival in Masai Mara we could leave our luggage in the camp, so we had more space in the car. Despite the circumstances (more than 6 people) we had no disadvantages in game drives. Obama tried to make the best out of it for us! All of us could stand up (pop up roof top) to see more! All of us had enough time to take pictures… We all got along well. In Masai Mara we saw some new animals; For example cheetahs and leopards. In the end we’ve seen all of the BIG FIVE (Lion, Rhino, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo). Amazing experience!! On the last game drive, we were late to get to the gate (gate closing), but still we turned around and drove away from the gate. Obama got a call, so a new attraction had to be there; Cause of the efford of Obama, we could see a Lion Hunting. That was an impressive last sighting!
We are glad we stayed 6 days in different Nationalparks, cause we could observe how the landscape changes from NP to NP. We didn’t think about it before! In addition, the chance to see more different animals, especially the BIG FIVE is a lot higher!
Obama is a really careful, sociable and fun-loving Guide, trying to make it fair and comfortable for every single client. He was very knowledgeable about flora and fauna, the animal behaviour and the Maasai People. Obama said at the beginning: „Ask me anything and I’ll give you an answere.“ He kept right!!!
Obama without a phone is not Obama! He was always on phone or radio to organize the further course or to keep contact with other Guids in the park to exchange interesting animal sightings. That made our trip really unique!
Summarized, We can definitely recommend this tour operator. Rachel from the office
was always accessible and open to questions before the tour started.
During the tour, she made sure that everything was ok. Special Thanks to our Guide Obama, who made the trip really unique...! We can highly recommand him as a Guide!

19 Day Private Safari in Kenya & Tanzania - Attenborough's Africa!
Francis went out of his way to ensure that our safari exceeded our expectations. He communicated promptly regarding our booking enquiries and met us at the airport in Nairobi. We experienced fantastic food and service at our accommodation each night - mostly Sopa Lodges, where there were often evening cultural performances and ranger's talks on wildlife. Our driver/guides, Kisito and Bakari were professional, flexible and knowledgeable, willing to answer our endless questions about animals and birds. Francis' recommended itinerary was fantastic. It included a variety of landscapes, from the savannas of the Masai Mara to the lush greenery of the Aberdare Mountains, which enabled us to view prolific numbers and a huge variety of wildlife. Highlights included a lioness stalking and killing a Thompson's gazelle, and another lion hunt which scattered hyenas. We felt as though we were in an Attenborough documentary! We couldn't recommend this East African owned and operated company more highly - thanks for an unforgettable experience!
