Extremely happy with our tour
5/5

We booked the Gorillas, Chimps and QENP trip very late indeed. Gorilla Tours were very good in organising the trip and offered flexible solutions for the lack of desired accommodation on some nights. Our driver Norbert was excellent and quite literally saved our lives via his driving skill when a bus overtook on a corner. The vehicle was in great working order and was perfect for the tour needs. Gorilla Tours also own and use some wonderful lodges the grounds of which are full of wildlife. Uganda is a warm and friendly country and I'd recommend it as a place to visit to anyone. If you are going to go, use Gorilla Tours, you get a great service for the fraction of the price of a European based tour company. I will definitely use them again.

Unforgettable vacation thanks to the professionalism of this agency
5/5

Perfect safari. Rodrick owner of the agency has accompanied us for 6 unforgettable days. Very attentive to our safety and to satisfy our every request. He perfectly speaks more languages among which Italian which is great when you are in Tanzania where they speak only shawili and in dialects of the various tribes. Very competitive price compared to other agencies. Absolutely recommend them.

It was great and wonderfull experience.
5/5

We visited Serengheti, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara in december 2017. I have to say, Soul of Tanzania made our visit marvellous, excellent. So if you are planning safari trip, I would strongly recommend Soul of Tanzania. They really made our trip unforgettable. They had fulfille every request we made. We were travelling with a little child and everything run smothly. Lodges were great, food also.
Our guide Pius was really nice and kind and great driver and he answered an all our questions about Tanzania, Africa, nature and the most important - animals! We saw elephants, zebras, giraffes, hippos, buffalos, lions, cheetah, and also rhinos, and many many other animals.
If I ever have a chance of visiting Tanzania again, I know that I will be contacting Soul for booking a tour :)

Very responsive agency and flexible on dates
5/5

Footslopes have been very responsive in emails and whatsapp. They are an agency that puts groups together and that has been a great experience because we met lovely people and the timing works for the 3 separate groups that we had. (5 of us) The arrangements included airport transfers, accommodation for the night before and the last night which we found to be very helpful in terms of having it all being taken care of. We opted for a budget package and were put up at Venice Hotel, clean, close to market and friendly staff.

Eric from footslopes was very friendly at the pickup and also was accommodating on the questions we had around the safari. He was also easily contactable via whatsapp/email and responded very quickly. The guide and cook were very good and we started our days on time and very early to make most of each day. Thomas, our guide, was also a very careful driver and very aware of park rules. He is also amazing at spotting animals from afar, almost like having bionic eyes!

As we were on our honeymoon, we were pleasantly surprised by being put up at a lodge at the end of our trip. A very kind and generous arrangement by Eric. It was a much welcomed gesture after a few days of camping. (Also first time camping since high school!)

One thing to be aware of is the payment arrangements culture where it is all settled upfront. (For Park fee payments, supplies, etc). Coming from an environment where payment is made in stages or when services have been received, it was something to get used to. Eric did a good job reassuring us and it was all hakuna matata after all.

5/5

We had an absolutely wonderful time on safari with Vic Consult. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and patient to guide us to the best views of the animals, and we were able to see a few very up close. We were very well taken care of during the entire trip. Highly recommend!

An amazing time with a very experienced guide
5/5

Thomas, with 30 years of experience was an excellent guide who spots the big 5, even from afar. We have been very lucky to have him and also being able to see a coy leopard that took his time to get down from the tree. Freddy was a good cook and always with a smile, and also very organised in packing up when we moved sites. Thomas also shares his knowledge that of the parks and the animals at well timed intervals. We did Serengeti(2 days), Ngorongoro, Tarangire and Lake Manyara. All with it’s own beauty. 2 days at the Serengeti was amazing and we were able to pace the game drives. Each drive explored different parts which gives us a taste of how different the terrains are.

We booked the tour via another agency for a mixture of budget camping and a basic lodge at the end. We enjoyed the flexibility it gave us especially on not being restricted to certain start dates and met lovely people, a core group of 5 of us.

The Ngorongoro Simba campsite was beautiful and well equipped (WiFi, electricity, spacious dining room and clean kitchens, and hot water showers) The Serengeti campsite was reliant on solar powered panels so it was a more rustic experience.

I really thank and rate this company to be the best i have seen. i and my wife carol contacted it and we got a quick reply. thanks to Bruce in the office that kept us in touch whenever we wanted advise about the tour. Bruce sent us an itinerary which was jam packed. it was a three days tour to bwindi national park for gorilla tracking. our driver Bob was a good driver and guided who gave us a lot of information on whatever we needed. it was massive after seeing these giant animals and really enjoyed. thanks goes to the entire team of jungle trip Africa and most especially for choosing us a best lodge .

fascinating and relaxing

East Africa - Those who have been there once will be fascinated. No image or video can reproduce the infinite expanse of Tanzania. You just have to experience it for yourself - the sun on your skin, the unique scent of the country, the fantastic flora and fauna and last but not least the hospitality of the people. Everywhere there is something new to discover and enjoy. The different national parks, from Serengeti to Arusha National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater as well as the tanzanian culture were definitely worth the long journey from Germany. If you want to escape the snow in December and enjoy the turn of the year in the sun like us, then Tanzania is the right place for you. We met Asseri as a reliable and friendly safari driver who liked to make a little fun and always smiled. In addition, Asseri is happy to respond to individual wishes when planning your trip. For example, there is the possibility to pet giraffes in a lodge and make dreams come true (like the one from my mother). Another conclusion of this trip: During the 2 weeks vacation I experienced only 5 minutes before the turn of the year people who were running around hectically, because everyone should have his sparkling wine. Every now and then I remember it back and I try not to rush through the city centre. Rather open the door 2 minutes later and enjoy the day with its little things. I think that's the way to enjoy life. That's why I think Africa still has a lot to teach us. If you want to embark on the adventure to get to know an enchanting world in which everything is a bit different than in Germany, you should make your way and book your holiday as soon as possible.
