Excellent 7 day Machame route with kiliholidays.
5/5

We completed the 7 day machame route with Kiliholidays Tours. Well organized and professional services. Our guides and porters were knowledgeable, helpful, and wonderful to hike with for 7 days. The food was delicious and the tent camps were very comfortable. We were led by guide, Barnabas and assistant guide Fred.

The whole team was great to work with from booking and answering questions and last minute requests. All of the wonderful porters who were part of Barnabas team. They did their absolute best to make it wonderful and unforgettable experience.

A couple of things in particular that I would like to highlight. The cook for our trip (frank) was amazing. He made meals that kept us going and were as good as almost anything I had in the one prior week I had been in Africa- Tanzania. His soups in particular were great and kept us warm.

I really appreciated the approach to tipping employed by Kiliholidays as well. We were told up front that at the end of our trek we would be able to give our tips directly via sealed envelopes given to each member of the team, which we did. It was nice to be able to hand each man their tip directly as I had heard that sometimes the porters don't receive all of their tips when they are given to the company directly. These guys worked incredibly hard and deserve every penny.

Finally, Barnabas and Fred did a great job getting us to Uhuru peak. The night of our summit attempt it was snowing, quite cold, and there was already enough snow in places for me to sink up nearly to my waist. The group of 17 behind us only had 7 make the peak. But by carefully picking our departure time, route, and giving us clear instructions we made it just at sunrise and it was spectacular. Thanks to Mack for his great advice on route selection.
I would not only recommend Kiliholidays for the professionalism of the office staff and operations manager but also by the clearly passionate, caring, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful guides, cook and porters. We could tell they enjoyed working together and they were singing to keep up our spirits.

VERY BEST AGENCY SO FAR!!!
5/5

The guide Boris was essential to our trip because he knows how to spot the animals. It was also at his suggestion that we went super early in the morning. He took this very seriously, making sure that we were the very first people in the gate.

He also had a radio that allowed him to communicate with the other drivers so that if they spotted something, he would know where to go.

It was usually him letting everyone else know what we’d found, though, because we had been the first in the crater and he’s so great at his job. The company's owner was as good as his plans, very young professional and well informed every evening he would make a call to hear from us about how the day went, it was nice for us to book for the local agency and support local economy, If you thinking about Tanzania safari book with Dahlia tours and you won’t be disappointed!

Spectacular safari from Richard, Driver / Guide Frank and Chef Zahoro for the 3rd time!
5/5

We have a wildlife travel company specialising in escorting clients to see rare endangered animals.
Whenever we do a trip in Tanzania, we work with Richard, Frank and Zahoro.
This June was our 3rd trip using "World Tours & Safaris Tanzania".

Richard is a most gracious host in Tanzania.
As always he takes great care of us and our clients.
By efficiently meeting our requests so we can have a personalised trip.
And achieve our mission of seeing cheetah, leopard and rhino.

We always ask for our favourite driver Frank and our favourite chef Zahoro.
As they are absolutely essential to our success.

Frank is a friendly guide and skilled driver.
Who works very hard to achieve our goals.
He drives safely but fast enough to ensure we get to places on time.
He has great time management and always gives us maximum time for viewing game in each park.

On every safari we've had with Frank, we have had spectacular wildlife viewing.
This year we spotted all of the Big 5 and every other animal we wished to see.
The special ones being a serval, leopard, cheetah, bat ear foxes and rock python in the Serengeti and 7 black rhinos in the crater.

In the past we went North and West, this year we went South.
But Frank always manages to get us the classic shot of the wildebeest migration.
This time we even saw a kill.
A lioness taking down a wildebeest right in front of us.

Zahoro is a happy friendly patient chef.
He is great for he caters to our requests of beef, potato fries, salads, fruit and the best avocados you will ever taste.
So that we were all healthy and well through out the trip.
Especially in Africa, it is important to have a chef you can trust to cook safe clean and hygienic meals.

Frank and Zahoro work very well as a team.

Thanks to Richard, Frank and Zahoro,
once again we leave Tanzania with more magical memories of the Serengeti
and the Ngorongoro Crater to last us a lifetime.

For anyone interested in Tanzania safari, we highly recommend you contact Richard and ask for Frank and Zahoro - The A-team.

Asante sana! :)

Exceiient experience
5/5

Our safari with Roy Safari's was a trip of a lifetime. The drivers were awesome. Their caring of us was more then we expected.
They knew just where the animals were. They did their best to get us near to the animals for good views and pictures. The owners of the company were so thoughtful they went out of our way for us. The places we stayed. Were beautiful. One of them was the African Tulip and another was The Retreat at Ngorongoro.

About: Tanzania
This was the adventure of a lifetime!
Overall rating
5/5

Our guide “ Ziggy” went the extra mile to assure we saw all the animals we were excited to see. Leopards and rhinos are often difficult to spot, but Ziggy found them. Lions, zebras, wildebeests, giraffes and baboons were in abundance! Ziggy was also a skillful driver, navigating some pretty tough roads! He was an attentive guide and able to adjust the itinerary a bit according to his guests wishes.
The food was great, especially meals prepared by our own chef.

I weather was perfect the entire safari. June is a very good month to go, and I think a bit less crowded with other Safari vehicles.
My accommodations were varied. My favorite were The Rhino Lodge in Ngorongoro and a luxury tent in the Serengeti!
