Fantastically well organised trip...amazing safaris and variety of accomodation, simply brilliant!
5/5

I was attracted to the prompt and helpful initial communication with Selma having googled safari companies after failing to get the holiday I wanted from UK based tour companies.
With my wishes and her knowledge we came up with an amazing package, visiting 3 national parks and 1 conservation area plus a stay in Zanzibar at the end, to make a 15 day holiday. From beginning to end, everything ran smoothly, we had our own superb guide in Jamal who made our safari experience so memorable. Our accommodation along the way was varied in location and type which was interesting, always the staff were friendly, professional and helpful and generally the food was very good. The tented camp in the Serengeti was just a wonderful experience. I added a balloon safari to my itinerary last minute before we left the UK, which again was well run and great fun and probably a must do.
When we arrived in Zanzibar, the hotel upgraded us to a chalet near the beach and facilities as I had mentioned to Selma that I'd had recent knee surgery.....what a kind and thoughtful gesture. We wanted a good hotel here to relax in at the end of our holiday and this came with Selma's recommendation...it was stunning, beautiful and so well run. The food and ambience were simply exceptional.
I would definitely use Makasa again and recommend to anyone wanting that special holiday with that special touch.

Great migration safari
5/5

Safaris is always a unique experience, but this one with Ngorongoro Crater and the great migration was really unforgettable: so beautiful landscapes and a lot of animals with absolutely lovely lodges with outstanding hosts, guides and services. The highlight was the balloon ride in Ndutu, seeing the african sunrise and the mass of wildebeest and zebras moving across the plains. And the high amount of predators: lions and cheetah everywhere.
After the safari we spent one week in Zanzibar. We lived in a wonderful villa in Matemwe Retreat with a great view of the sea and the dhows sailing by. We especially enjoyed the terrace with the plunge pool, the good food and the fantastic service.

Exhilarating Safari Experience
5/5

My friend and I traveled from Kabul, Afghanistan (I am from Pakistan and my friend from India). We both are humanitarian workers and had been planning to explore richness of Tanzania’s wildlife. While searching for tour options we were not only looking at the cost effectiveness but also a wholesome experience in limited time; we opted for did 5 day Safari in Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara National Park, and Tarangrie National Park through Safari Multiways. The team at Multiways (read Romeo) was helpful and answered all pre and post booking/departures queries in detail. It was an amazing experience; our guide Patrick was great; we got to see Big Five in first 2 days, and were fortunate enough to see a live kill. It was exhilarating experience, everything was well coordinated, and we had no hassles from airport pickup in Mwanza to drop-off in Arusha. I would certainly recommend Safari Multiways to my friends and to for those looking for budget to mid-range safari experience.

Diverse, fantastic, beautiful and lovely, nature and animals- we are booking again!
5/5

We visited SA from 23/8 - 12/9 2014. From the moment we asked TMS to help us plan our trip it was well organized. Quick and clear communication about possibilities and wishes. It was great to receive the mobile phone and GPS coordinates (does give a safe feeling). We visited, Drakensberg Mountains, Kloof (durban), Rocktail Beach camp, Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park, Sint Lucia Estuary and the Zululand Rhino Reserve. All the places had their own beauty and characteristics so we can't give a favorite....(however the baby giraffe and the lion cubs scored high!) the combination of lodges and self catered houses was a good mix of being taken care of and do it yourself.
It was such a good experience that we have booked again for dec 2015- jan 2016 heading for Kaapstad, Garden Route, Addo Elephant Park :)

Kilimanjaro in 7 days with our ANDA dreamteam!
5/5

We went with a group of three girls for an incredible 7 days Kilimanjaro climb via Machame route. Overall the organization and communication with ANDA worked very well. The day before we started our trip, we met our guide and we got well instructed about what to expect during our trip and what we would need. Together with him we rented all the equipment we would need, and our guide made sure that we also got the best quality of equipment. During the climb the whole ANDA team looked after us and made sure we had everything we needed. Everytime we arrived at our camp side, the tents were already set up, and we were welcomed enthusiastically with some hot tea. Even though we did not have a shower for seven days, we always got hot water in the morning and evening to wash ourselves. The food our chef served was excellent and we were impressed everyday how he created theses menus in a tent on one gas stove. Furthermore we had a great interaction with everyone of the team and we enjoyed singing, dancing and cooking on the mountain. During summit night everyone of us was struggling a bit and we had some problems with the altitude. But our guides encouraged us to go further and made sure that we all made it to the top in the end!

Climbing Kilimanjaro has been experience of a lifetime for me, but I would have never done it without the help of the ANDA Dreamteam!

Trip of a Lifetime
5/5

The itinerary planned with Augustine was wonderful. Our 12 day safari included stops in Tarangire, Lake Manyara, the Crater, and the Serengeti. We had the opportunity of seeing unbelievable numbers of animals and birds and were truly able to enter their world. Our guide, Raphael, was extremely knowledgeable in identifying everything we saw. He was very concerned that the trip be as safe and comfortable as possible.
Tarangire should not be missed. The accommodations were all very nice, the food was good, and we stayed healthy throughout our safari.
Augustine and his team were terrific at making sure that we maximized our experiences.
All in all, it was the trip of a lifetime (until we go back!!).

Perfect Kid-Friendly Safari
5/5

Shaun did such a wonderful job making us feel at home on safari. He made sure that there were kid-friendly menu choices and that my 5 and 8 year old were comfortable in every way. He tailored our days and safari drives to maximize our chances of seeing fantastic wildlife while keeping in mind our little ones schedules. I would recommend his tours to anyone, but especially anyone looking for a truly tailored experience. My eight-year-old (AKA the Bushman) says Shaun is fun, finds lots of animals, and is a good tracker. Our family's favorite part of the safari was Shaun, and we got to be with him for 11 days. We can't wait to go back.

Good experience
5/5

Safari is really bright and unforgettable experience. We chosen Kili by reviews. Now I can say that I agree with all positive reviews! We were satisfied with the selection of the company that organized the safari for us. Everything was professionally. It was comfortable to travel. The food was delicious and the portions was huge!
We were met by the ferry in Dar es Salaam, and we immediately went to Selous by 4WD car.
Road took about 6 hours with lunch-stop. In the same day was a river safari by boat.
Next day was game drive in the Selous. One-day game drive safari may seem insufficient. Take 2-full-days game drive. Last morning - 2 hours walking safari with local guy.
Read carefully the conditions of the accomodation. We decided that a accomodation in the hippo camp will be in lodge, but it turned out to be spending the night in a tent on the territory of the camping. As an exception, one night we were placed in the lodge (thanks to Mack and manager).
So, enjoy your safari holidays with Kiliholidays Tours & Safaris Africa.

Excellent service, well organized, great guides/drivers
5/5

I used Bruno Safaris for two excursions in September and October. The first was in September with a group of colleagues on an overnight trip to Amboseli National Park. Communications before the trip were excellent and Lawrence came personally to finalize arrangements the in the days before the excursion. Our driver for the safari was Abbu who was an excellent driver as well as guide. While in the park, it remained in constant contact with other drivers in the park to make sure we saw the best wildlife. For the overnight, we selected the Kibo Safari Camp option which was also great (accomodations and food -- see separate review). The excursion included a stop at the Carnivore Restaurant. After a short business trip to Madagascar, I had a long layover in Nairobi and worked with Lawrence for a half day excursion to the Blixen Museum, Giraffe Centre, and Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage. Lawrence and a driver met me at the airport at 0700hr and I spent an enjoyable day at the sites. Overall, service and price are outstanding and I highly recommend Bruno Safaris.

Tips: pay the small extra charge to get the Land Cruiser 4x4 -- it's worth the small amount more.
