An amazing experience - one I will remember for a long time.

Can't say enough about this trip. Everything went according to plan - including allowing for last minute changes to some activities. We saw an amazing number of animals, stayed in comfortable surroundings, had great food and plenty of it. There was a good mix of things to do and see. Our guides were very professional, knowledgeable and entertaining. Overall brilliant and memorable.

Discover the real Tanzania with great professionals!
5/5

I highly recommend Asante Afrika Tours! We felt realy well cared during our 12 days trip in Tanzania. Pepa and Abi know where to find the best experiences in the country. The safarys were really well organised: good lodges, prepared cars, all the information you need if you don't know too much about animals. One of the best things of the safary was our cooker! Great african meals made with love!

Abi is an accomplished driver that knows where to find the hidden animals because he knows a lot about its behaviour. All the stuff is always aware of your needs. Obviously, Africa has limitations as lack of hot water in some lodges and you have to wait a lot for some services, but this is real Africa, for better and for worst.

It was an "awesome experience" which was the most commonly used expression within our touring group

From the time we landed in Johannesburg to start our trip with Masihambe Afrika to the final day in Cape town our tour guide Antony and Jude ensured we had a trip of a life time. The scenery is amazing in South Africa with the huge landscapes of the mountain ranges to the beautiful coast line of the Indian Ocean. We went into several safari game parks, which each had there own unique character. Looking for the big 5 was exciting, especially when you saw your first elephant, lion or hippo. Antony, our tour guide was a fountain of knowledge about the safari game park animal and birds. There is so many wonderful memories of this time with our group, so many laughs and good times. I would certainly recommend this trip and Masihambe Afrika Tours to all travellers.

The Kruger National Park is definitely worth a visit.

Although August is still winter and the dry season, the temperatures in the KNP are mild and days are sunny. We saw so many animals , birds and magnificent birds of prey that we felt extremely privileged. There are many spots with beautiful views of undisturbed nature and the dry winter landscape has a beauty of it's own with the beautiful Impala Lily flowering white and red against the artistic backdrop of grey branches, yellow grasses and dry golden leaves. Closer to the rivers, the vegetation is greener.

On long weekends/very busy days access to the park for day visitors may be restricted to avoid too many vehicles and traffic jams in the park, which is a good thing. Vehicles entering are also searched for fire-arms and alcohol, which is of benefit to all visitors. The asphalted as well as the dirt roads are well maintained and an 4X4 (off-road) vehicle is not needed. The food and service in the restaurants (Skukuza and Lower Sabie) were top quality and the view from the restaurants over the Sabie river is magnificent. All staff in the KNP were very friendly.

The KNP also offers night drives and guided walking safaris to visitors. Sleeping facilties range from beautiful thatched roof chalets to luxury tents.

One day and night in the Okavango Delta.

As part of a southern Africa tour, we spent one day and night in the Okavango Delta.
In the early morning they took us to a local village. From there we were transported by mokoro to a nice camping place where we would spend the night. After lunch and a swim, we went on a walk on one of the delta's many islands. We only saw some wildlife from far away, but on the way back a Hippo showed itself while we were in the mokoro's. Afterwards at camp we had dinner and spent hours watching the stars.

I've been in Kruger National Park for two days and I enjoyed it a lot.
I was lucky enough to be accompanied by a guide , who was very skilled in finding animals and who explained to me in detail everything related to zoology, biology and curious about animals in the park .
It was undoubtedly one of the best holidays of my life .
Weather was perfect and accomodation too.

Undeniably great wildlife, nature, scenery and birding opportunities. South Africa is a very popular tourist destination, and as the world gets more populated and more and more people are able to afford overseas holidays it is very difficult not to see a lot of other tourists around, unless you are prepared to pay a lot more money for exclusive private game reserves/lodges.

Professional Service
I was looking for a safe option as a solo female traveler for a 3 days trip to Murchison National Park. My choice of driver/guide Willy was great at executing his duties, always handy with all the answers I bombed him with, as well as a very steady driver.
The choice of accommodation Parkside Safari lodges was excellent with a fabulous of the Albert Nile section of the great river Nile, at the northern side of Murchison falls national park Tangi gate. I really enjoyed my 3 days trip.
