Fantastic
5/5

Overall organisation was incredible. I felt welcomed and comfortable in the care of this company. I would happily return to do this trip again and when planning to return to Tanzania will be looking for this organisation. The only issue i had was the distribution of payment issues regarding tips and KPAP. Whilst i appreciate the tourism industry is vital in Africa as a whole the use of American economic policies in an already financially disadvantaged and abused country was disheartening. I believe the African people are being taken advantage of, and would do far better to take the company as a whole upon themselves without interference from 'charitable' third parties. Thank you to everyone who made my trip incredible.

Great 9-day safari to Tsavo, Amboseli, Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara
5/5

All was very well organized by It Started in Africa and we found it good value for money. The correspondence with the office is very smooth, prompt and clear and they lived up to their promises.

We liked the proposed combination of Tsavo - Amboseli - Nakuru - Mara. It's a nice variation of scenery. Mara was a highlight of course for the great variety of wildlife, but the more quiet parks in the east have their charm as well.

We opted for the most basic accommodation offers and we found them all very neat. Especially in Rhinovalley lodge in Tsavo is located beautifully and quite luxureous. The tent camps Punda Milla in Nakura and Wajee Mara were more basic, but we found them fine and all had very friendly staff.

Our driver/guide, Evans, was excellent, a pleasant travel companion, a great driver and very knowledgable on the safaris and everything else Kenya. He really tried to make the most out of all game drives.

In short, we would definitely recommend It Started in Africa to anyone wanting to do a similar journey.

Great experience!!
5/5

I booked the 2-day Safari to Mikumi National Park spontaniously for last weekend, since I was on a business trip in Tanzania. First I was worried to travel as a woman alone in Tanzania, but Ahmed and John from the Wildness Team organized everything so perfectly, that I felt very safe at all times. My guide John picked me up at the hotel early in the morning on Saturday and brought me to the airport again after the trip on Sunday evening. On the Safari, we got to see a lot of elephants, zebras, giraffes, buffalos and even a lion right next to the Jeep! I enjoyed especially the open roof of the jeep, since I had a perfect panorama view, which is just fantastic in the park. I was very lucky with my accomodation too, I got to stay in Vuma Hills Tented Camp, which is a really luxury tent experience. I met the manager of the place and the other guests in the evening when we had dinner together. I even got to feed the bush babies at night with bananas and got to see some wild cats which were around the camp at night. So overall the whole trip was a great experience for me, that I do not want to miss!

A great experience in Queen Elizabeth Park
5/5

Last January we had en excellent experience going to Queen Elizabeth Park with Hog Safaris. We were eight persons and our co-operation with Hog Safaris worked very smothly and we got very good with planning so we got exactly what we wanted to have.
The journey went out very well and our driver turned out to be an excellent guide as well. He made all efforts go make our trip to turn out into a memory for life.
If we - hopefully - will be able to make another safari in Uganda, Hog Safaris will be our choice.

Fantastic
5/5

This is our second safari made with Flash, after a memorable one made about 4 years ago, without our spouses.
Trip was very well organized, from time of arrival till the day we left.
Everything live up to our expectations & more during this second trip.
Thanks to our hard working & observant guide,Adam , who managed to deliver all the objectives we set out for him ,even surpassing our expectations on certain occasions eg watching the killing of the lion cubs in its den by Hyenas..
Makuna Hatata.,Magda.
We definitely have no reservation to recommend Flash to all our relatives/friends & contacts to use Flash ,if ever they plan to go to Tanzania for safari. Cheers

What a great holiday
5/5

We visited Uganda in september 2015 for a three week tour, organised bij Matoke and this was the best holiday I ever had. As from the oriëntation and booking in Holland, everything was very well organised. We had a group of 9 people and drove with two Toyota landcruisers with excellent drivers, and the tour guide made sure we didn’t have to worry about anything. They learned us a lot about the country and the wildlife. The lodges were very luxurious, the food was excellent and the wildlife incredible. We saw many mammals and birds and especially the chimpansees and gorilla’s were so beautiful and impressive, that they filled my eyes with tears. I also enjoyed birdwatching very much, there are so many species!. I feel really privileged to have been able to do this holiday. The people of Uganda are friendly and the children were waving all the time, what made us feel like a queen or the national football team. So all together I would sure recommend Matoketours. I think they do a really good job over there. Thanks for everything Matoketeam!

Just what we wanted
5/5

I have been on many safaris and wanted a custom safari for myself and three friends from the US. We took two short safaris and they were perfect. Since I have so much experience, I know that we were given a great value for the money. Our guide was knowledgeable and very professional. And we were lucky. We got to see the Wildebeest crossing the Mara River. But I also know it was because we were in the right place at the right time thanks to Afroriginals.

Wonderfully accommodating tour guide!
5/5

I am most grateful that we found Africa Zim. Traveling with a group of friends, each with different date requirements and all with very specific locations we wanted to explore, we appreciated how accommodating Africa Zim was. Our guide, Blessing, was responsive by email during our trip planning and very flexible during the tour when changes needed to be made. He found wonderful guides for us on our game drives and river cruises. It was clear that we were getting a much better experience than the other groups we would meet and talk with during breaks. Best of all for any birders out there, all the guides were excellent at identifying and pointing out the local birds. Be sure to ask the river people to tell their creation stories - I especially liked the explanation story for why hippos leave the river to take care of their business ;-)

Wonderful to Experience the Real Africa
5/5

How fortunate that I found Africa Zim Travel early this year when looking for a Botswana, Vic Falls Safari. We booked their budget safari, mostly camping and an excellent value. Not realizing how hot it would in Oct., we upgraded to an air conditioned lodge room a couple of times with no problem. The tour company is great, totally flexible as to start date and what you do along the way. We needed to accommodate several peoples' schedule for this trip and being able to choose our own start date was invaluable.

Service was excellent. Follow up and communications during planning was good.

My favorite site on the tour was Elephant Sands, an elephant oasis in the middle of a very dry area, hope the rains start soon!

The best part has been our wonderful tour guide, Blessing, giving us a chance to know a black African, learning about his life, family, his country of Zimbabwe plus many aspects of African culture. Almost all of our guides for game viewing have been local people, who bring their rich knowledge of the land and animals along with a great sense of humor. We visited a traditional village and have experienced some of the real Africa, not just another fancy resort.

Highly recommend Africa Zim Travel.

Total experience was absolutely fabulous.
5/5

Everything was extremely well organized. The booking service with Robert was first class. The choices with accommodation were of an excellent standard and the safaris that were arranged showcased the wildlife. Motswari was a fabulous 4 days, everyone took an interest in your stay from the manager David, our guide Chad and tracker Difference, the receptionists and staff. When out on safari you were never rushed away from sightings. Our flights, transfers and other day tours that Robert had recommended all went smoothly. On our return Robert made contact about our experience and was interested to hear about the trip. We would highly recommend Wild Africa Travel Company for anybody interested in going to Africa as they plan to your requirements.
