Awesome Expirience
4/5

...the tour was really great. We had a wonderful time enjoying all the beautiful scenery and wildlife. Murchison Falls National Park was our best overall experience. Ishasha was absolutely exquisite as we saw the tree climbing lions calmly relaxed high up in the accacia trees. WOW. The guide Ceasar was really friendly and knowledgeable as he took us around to all the animals we expected to see and he really made our tour feel short. We miss you living wild tours. Thumbs up for keeping to your end of the deal.

World class safari experience
5/5

The whole experience dealing with Antelope from beginning to end was easy and hassle free. Communication with the tour company was fast and prompt (getting replies with an hour of sending emails). As a Tanzanian I was very impressed with how easy it was to sort everything and how tourist friendly my country was in general. My guest had an amazing time as did I. The tour it self was well organized and our driver was very well informed and shared information on Tanzania and the fun facts regarding the different wild life we saw. He was very good at spotting Animals in the most hidden locations, which resulted in amazing pictures. We stayed at Vuma hills. I cannot fault that place, the staff are a friendly bunch and we spent most nights, chatting with the lovely barman Chris and the manager till it was time for the generators to go off and then head to bed. The whole experience was wonderful. Thank you.

Communication - was excellent
Service - very good
Expectations: they deliver what they promise; prompt, informed and caring - a blend of the vast experience with a careful assessment of the challenges experienced by climbers.

Lifetime awesome Safari experience with Adventure Africa expedition for Kenya and Tanzania Safari
5/5

We had a wonderful trip with this company through the help of Dickson, they took care of us for our entire 12 days Safari Kenya and Tanzania. The trip was much more luxury than we thought and considering it was the first safari with them we were hesitant to pay the deposit as they required but after several emails we found that they are worthy trust for their instant response in emails. Ephraim who was our driver picked us up from the hotel on time and that was the order of the day for the entire Kenya Safari before he dropped us at the border from Amboseli. We had good experience on Kenyan part and especially in accommodation and delicious food which was prepared every day by the cook. The driver guide was extremely knowledgeable and patient with us, he answered all our question though sometimes we could not understand clearly not unless you are very keen and especially when the Radio is on.

One thing we observed its quite important to tell the driver to switch off the radio and the engine especially when you want to record a video to avoid the background sound from the engine.
Tanzania part was ok but you will be shocked by the difference in camping. In Kenya camping is much more luxury as compared to Tanzania, we had to use basic tents in Serengeti and the shower and toilets are outside the tents, this is one point should be clear before booking Tanzania camping safari. It was completely budget, we were provided with sleeping bags, tents and everything which we required.
Everything worked very well for us and we have no regrets of booking our safari with Dickson or Adventure Africa Expedition. They have all you need and their information is accurate and prompt feedback.

In Kenya there are many safari operators and its hard to know if you have picked the best but for me it was definitely the best company for our holiday.. If you want a holiday of good price and quality ratio of what you have paid for think of Adventure Africa Expedition they are the best and tip top quality services from pick up point when you arrive.

Exceeding my level of expectation which was quite high
5/5

We were recommended by a friend to contact East African Voyage. The detailed and quick information increased my level of expectation. All preparations were very well handled from paper work over pick up at the airport to gear preparations. The team was very friendly and many spoke very good English. I learnt a lot about Tanzania, Kilimanjaro, and more. The tents, toilet, and general services were good. The quality of the food made me rather gain than lose weight. The team leaders adjusted the pace and other parts of the tour in an optimized way - which I mainly realized once I stood on the roof of Africa a 06.30 am watching the sunrise.
If you plan to make this once-in-a-lifetime experience I recommend you to contact East African Voyage!

Exceptional experience from Booking to Departure
5/5

I found Transtrek online, as I was booking a rather last minute safari after a business trip. Everything was handled perfectly, from the beginning. The lodges that were chosen suited my budget and were outstanding. Our driver was excellent...he knew a lot about animals and was very intuitive about vehicle placement for photos. In short, we were in excellent hands and I refer Transtrek without reservation.

An arid wilderness heaving with wildlife
Overall rating
5/5

The Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park (KTP) is a really special place. It is extremely arid and hot, yet the wildlife and bird life (raptors in particular) are extremely abundant.
The park basically consists of two roads that run along the two (dry) riverbeds that run through the park, the Nossob and the Auob. Along the rivers, vast views are limited because they are both surrounded by the famous red dunes of the Kalahari, but that is not an issue because the water points are all along these rivers which attracts all the wildlife, plus the dunes really are beautiful.

I gave a 5 star rating for everything and I'm tempted to warn readers that I gave these rates based on an arid savanna benchmark where seeing a lion and a few birds within a few days is a good trip but that is far from the case in the KTP as you will find loads of wildlife!

Accommodation wise, I have camped at Mabuasehube on the Botswana side which was awesome (lions came in to drink our dirty shower water and would cause shivers right down our spines as their deep calls vibrated right through us in the night)! As well as in a research camp within the park close to Twee Rivieren, this camp is unavailable to tourists so not much use in me telling you about it. I also can't really speak for the rest of the accommodation as I have never stayed at any of the other camps. I can however, recommend going as deep into the park where there are less people and you can enjoy the true essence of being out in the bush. Otherwise, it doesn't really matter because you'll want to spend every woken moment out there game viewing.

If you are reading this and on the fence about wanting to go to the Kgalagadi Tranfrontier Park, do it. You will not be disappointed.

Enjoy!

Brendon.
