I had a wonderful time with my safari experience thanks to Tom. He has also helped me arrange my bus ticket to Arusha as well as hotel with better rates than on the Internet. Very satisfied with the service and can warmly recommend this trustworthy travel agency to anyone interested to fo any excursions in Kenya!

Great experience with Pembury Tours and Kerry in particular
5/5

Kerry helped me in planning a trip to Victoria Falls and South Africa, responding very promptly to all my questions. She arranged all the accomodations, transfers and tours, and booked the national flights. Accomodations were superb, transfers and tours well coordinated. The welcome package Kerry prepared was very professional, with the most useful information.
I would definetely recommend her excellent services to anyone planning to travel to South Africa.

Wonderful once in a lifetime trip. Silverback gorillas and Golden Monkeys amazing. All great!
5/5

Carol was wonderful to work with. She was very patient with all of our questions and requests. She was able to accommodate special requests and made our tour very special. Our driver William was wonderful. The hotels were all nice, but our favorite was Five Volcanoes Lodge. The staff was the friendliest and best we have ever come across. They truly made us feel like special guests. The Gorilla Trekking was amazing. Not difficult at all and we saw the most beautiful Silverback family up close. One young gorilla fell out of a tree and landed at my feet which made for some excellent video. Carol also arranged for us to go to the Democratic Republic of the Congo to hike to the top of a volcano (Nyiragongo). That was unbelievable. Overall this was a perfect trip.

About: Safarihub
thanks for everything
5/5

Our Safarihub Tanzanian Safari was more than we ever expected it would be. Much of the success of this adventure must be attributed to our guide and driver, Endeny and to the choice of Lodges chosen for us by Safarihub. We experienced game drives at Lake Manyara, Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. Endeny was able to locate a multitude of animals to view including the "big five". He was very knowledgable about the animals, plants, and Tanzanian culture and history and also very courteous and responsive to our needs. Kudos to Endeny and Safarihub.

Customized, Fair and Personable
5/5

We coordinated our Safari with Robert by email - he was responsive, made good suggestions and was easy to work with.

We told Robert what we were hoping to do, the kind of budget we had available and our time line - and he made it happen. He handled the various unexpected glitches of the trip with grace and good communication and was flexible and able to adjust as we went, making great suggestions of change to our schedule to ensure we saw some of the highlights. Because of Robert's knowledge and insight we were able to see the tree climbing lions and in fact had viewing them all to ourselves.

It was clear to us that Robert knew Uganda well, knew the parks and resorts, supported the parks (and greatly enhanced our experience!) by hiring knowledgeable Park Rangers to join us for our game drives, and was all around a wonderful guide. He was thoughtful with small details to make us more comfortable as well - bottled water in the safari van, and even an inverter so we could charge our phones or cameras. Additionally, Robert is just a personable guy - we enjoyed having him join us for meals and appreciated the various cultural knowledge he willingly shared as we drove between destinations.

He was also 100% true to our arrangement - the price was exactly as quoted with no surprises and no unexpected expenses over the course of the trip. It's remarkable how much more relaxing travel is when someone else is taking care of paying all the day to day bills.

We had a wonderful tour in Uganda, and amazing trip and I highly recommend Robert with Engagi Safaris.

Masai Mara - amazing Blue Mountain - shady at best. Book with someone else
1/5

Very disappointed in my 3day/2night safari with Blue Mountain. Was placed with them by another tour operator as a single traveler. Our car broke down on the way to the Mara Masai and the driver was completely inept. We ended up waiting three hours for a new car and driver to take us to our lodge. We arrived at night and missed our game drive.

Because we were only now doing game drives on Saturday and Sunday. We only needed one pass, despite the two we were charged. When confronting the driver about this. He said that wasn't true because we would enter the park 7am Saturday and leave 8:30-9am Sunday which is an half or two longer than the 24 hour permit. On Sunday he drove us until 8am when he left early. suspicious I grabbed our park receipts when the driver stopped to get breakfast. (He told us it was a bathroom break then disappeared for twenty minutes many instances of terrible communication). sure enough he only bought one day passes and was pocketing the $500 in fees our group paid.

When confronting the company about it they said they'd talk to the driver. They refuse to reimburse the park fee I paid for but was never purchased. Overall the quality was well below par, go to a different budget safari. The positive reviews here are because Masai Mara will always be a positive experience. Go with a company that is honest or at the very least doesn't text and drive on the Kenyan highways.

Timely, professional & courteous full support for trully dream-come-true experience. Recommend 100%
5/5

At first it seemed impossible to us to identify, arrange and implement the plans and alternatives to our most-dreamed safari adventure in Kenya with our 13 years-old daughter from our country of residence (Brazil). I had been in South Africa (Mala Mala, Kruger Park) some 20 year ago and intended to provide something uncooked and safe as birthday present to our girl. After thorough research, checks and quotations from 05 shortlisted providers, we decided in favor of Wildbeest Safaris. Could not have been happier with our choice!!! Noah Kuti was attentive and responsive at all times during the decision-making and also after we had confirmed and partially paid the safari (given the time difference between Brazil and Kenya, I guess he has very little sleep, sounds as he works 24/7!). He was very proactive, clarified all our doubts (some of them probably not very rational, I am sure!), making suggestions and recommendations on what Reserves to visit within the available time (8 nights), and where to stay (camps and lodges). To make our Kenya spree even more perfect, we were assigned Dennis Mutumba Taligoola as ranger. He was perfectly as regards to time, flair for finding the animals in each reserva, and to tell us all about animals (habits, stats... all included). Not to mention he drives in a safe and responsible manner and is very polite and discrete. We will definitely recommend and hire Wildbeest Safaris again and we hope to do so very soon!

A nicely arranged trip where everything worked as expected.
5/5

I think it will be difficult to find an equally well-arranged safari for a lower price. For 300 USD (or 30.000 KSh, in our case), we got transport, accommodation, meals, and three days of guided safari (evening + full day + morning). The arrangements are not luxurious, but absolutely fine. Simple beds, Kenyan foods and bumpy roads are just perfect to me.

While some people in our group (who had booked through another company) were annoyed that their itinerary did not correspond with what they actually got, everything in ours was spot-on. They even managed to handle our weird food preferences with only a little confusion (vegan, gluten-free). Rose at the Safariline Defenders is very accommodating and helped answering all our questions before the trip.

When it comes to the safari, a lot depends on luck, but the guides communicate via radio and will make a good effort to show you what there is for the day. We saw lions, elephants, buffalos, hippos and giraffes up close, plus all the beautiful gazelles and other stuff. We were also lucky to have very nice company in our car!

Super advice from Fika-safaris on safari with small kids!
5/5

Where do you go with a tiny baby and two small children when you want to go on safari?
Robert and Ester from Fika-safaris gave us several locations and options to choose from. They were very patient and listened to our needs. Thanks to them we had a marvellous safari in Samburu with great wildlife-viewing and a child friendly lodge with enough space for the whole family!

Great Safari Experience!
5/5

We were extremely happy with our safari. Itinerary was great and we were kept busy while still having some down time. Guide was very knowledgeable and friendly and adjusted the plan based on weather. He also kept us very optimistic considering we had two days of rain!
Tents were clean and dry. Bathroom facilities were fine for us who are non campers and kept clean throughout our stay.
Food was delicious and lots of variety. the chef was also very accommodating with people's various dietary restrictions.
Sharing stories around the campfire with a glass of wine in the evenings was also a highlight.
Thank you!
