Superb bush experience in Chitake
5/5

Natureways are so professional. We stayed in a mobile camp setup which had all the necessary amenities. The guide Andy Smith was top class. So passionate and knowledgeable about the wild life and the bush. We had such fun and really enjoyed our trip. Thank you to all the staff.

Really enjoyable
4/5

We were well looked after and I didn't have to pay a single supplement which was a big plus. It was a little disappointing to not be forewarned about the vastly reduced flamingo numbers at Lake Nakuru.

Good budget safari with Heri
5/5

Mike was an excellent guide with extensive knowledge. He was open to our wishes and went out of his way to assure we had a memorable safari.
Immaculate, the manager, responded very quick and was always helpful. She showed good flexibility to our needs and made a very good offer compared to other companies.
The quality of the food was varying, but it seemed like every other budget safari got the same food.
We would definitely book again with Heri Africa Tours.

Peter and Liesbeth were very friendly and explained everything clearly up on arrival. We met again on our last day. They asked for feedback and listened to us. Accommodation and game drives were top.

Great safari!
5/5

We had a fabulous trip with Safaricare. Kamal helped to plan our trip and Wilson was an expert guide and driver who adapted to our plans and personalities very well. He drove us all over between Tangarire, Manyara and the Serengeti and we saw more animals than we could count (although we tried). We stayed at the TWC tented camps and loved it-don't bother staying at the Serena hotels, the one at Serengeti looked very tired and in need of a renovation. Do stop at the Oldupai gorge, it is the bedrock of us all.

East African Discovery - A*** Safari & Customer Service
5/5

Before contacting East African Discovery, I was certain that a very special surprise trip to Uganda for my dad’s 50th birthday would never happen. I’m glad that I was wrong!

I had heard about East African Discovery through a colleague who knew Ben from college so I dropped him an email after reviewing the website. Ben responded to me promptly with a very detailed and personalised response. Over the course of 3 months, Ben tailored a safari holiday that both my dad and I would love within my price range. Within that timeframe, I made umpteen changes to the safari and Bens patience never wavered. His knowledge of the lodges, excursions and the beautiful country that is Uganda was second to none.

Once I’d confirmed my booking and paid my deposit, Ben’s business partner Richard, started to book our excursions and lodges. Sending large sums of money to Uganda was daunting but I really didn’t have anything to worry about. I received emails and copies of receipts from the lodges which was great for peace of mind.

Once the surprise was out the bag, I introduced my dad to Ben via email as he had many questions about the trip and what to expect. Again, even after booking, Bens responses were so detailed and informative that by the time the holiday came we felt fully informed and raring to go!

East African Discovery delivered a safe and quality-ridden safari package from start to finish that was more affordable than any other provider which enabled us to experience Uganda for an extra 3 days!

My father and I can’t wait to return and we wouldn’t travel with anybody else.

A journey of a lifetime.
5/5

First and foremost I would like to say a million thank you to Mr. Dickson for organizing my safari trip. He was so decent, professional, educated, honest and was so kind enough for giving me back a $10 discount when I paid him with the amount we orinally agreed on. I refused to get the money because I know Mr. Dickson is supporting a charity institution for children who were neglected by thier own families and send them to school via the money he gets from his company. What an amazing man he is. In particular, the safari was legit and smoothly done by our driver Joshua who was also super nice and very knowledgable with the animals we saw around the park. I cannot wait to come back again. May God Bless this company and continue helping needy people in Kenya.

Everything we could have hoped for
5/5

We did the Hakuna Matata tour and could not recommend it to anyone else highly enough. Both the tour we chose and Seven by Far as a company were superb. There is not a thing that we would have changed about it.

We were met at the airport by Sylvester and Nick (our guide) and taken to a lovely hotel in Nairobi for the first night organised and booked by Sylvester. Early the following morning Nick met us at the hotel to set off on our adventure. Nick was very knowledgeable and happy to talk about anything at all from animals we saw and the places we visited to like in Kenya and politics. The lodges we stayed at were all beautiful and the food and service was excellent. For the game drives, Nick was accommodating to everything we wanted to do and see. He utilised the time we had in the best way possible by suggesting full day drives rather than one morning and one evening drive where appropriate which allowed us to spend as much time as possible seeing the wildlife and allowed us to see things that would otherwise not have been possible. At all times we felt as though we were in safe hands with Nick and the remote support from Seven by Far.

On our return to Nairobi, as we were staying an extra couple of days, we were dropped at our hotel after enjoying a meal in the Carnivore restaurant and visiting the giraffe sanctuary - both wonderful experiences. It was very sad to have to end such a wonderful 6 days. We hope to do something very similar to this in the future.
