It couldn't be better!
5/5

Booking with Gorillas and Beyond Safaris was like winning a jackpot. If you book Wyclef as a guide for your individual Uganda tour, you are actually in the best of hands. Here the 7 reasons why we would book again at Gorillasandbeyond at any time:
1. Very good communication in advance. The travel plan is adapted to the individual wishes and the personal budget.
2. No hidden costs. The (fair) price, once agreed, holds.
3. You don't have to worry about anything in Uganda. Gorillasandbeyond takes care of everything - from booking the lodges to organizing the permits to the most efficient travel plan. You can sit back and enjoy.
4. Wyclef is a very responsible driver. As with everything else, he attaches great importance to reliable quality in his car. In addition, the journey times he predicted were always exactly correct.
5. You feel that you are in good hands. Wyclef knows exactly where you can eat as a foreign tourist and what our stomach would probably not be so comfortable with. When choosing a restaurant, you can rely 100% on his recommendation.
6. Wyclef is very well networked in Uganda. This helps enormously in the event of unforeseen challenges such as B. lost luggage.
7. It's fun! If you are out and about with someone for many days, the chemistry has to be right. We think that Wyclef has a very pleasant, empathetic manner and that he can adapt well to the personality of his clients. We really had a wonderful time with him :-)

Excellent safari - we will come back!
5/5

Me and my boyfriend went for a 5 day safari with Mufasa Tours and Traves in June this year (2021). We were really impressed by the dedication and service of safari - our only regret is that we did not stay for longer! :) Joseph has been amazing to communicate with, he always responds promptly and with all information requested. He has an an amazing attention to detail - everything we planned for worked out perfectly. Our safari guide Jeremiah was a pleasure to spend 5 days with - he is fun, knowledgeable, speaks great English and is well aware of all the safety measures required for a safari. Me and my boyfriend both felt like we had gotten a new friend :)
All in all - Mufasa Tours and Travel is a fantastic choice and you will not be disappointed. I have recommended them to my family and friends and next time I come for a safari I will use them again.

An astonishing safari to remeber for ever
5/5

We have had the most amazing experience with our safari organized by Sunset Adventures Safari. The safari started at lake Manyara after we had climbed the Kilimanjaro, we stayed there for 3 nights as this was advised by Emma. Afterwards we were really happy with this, since it was comfortable to stay at the same location for a couple nights with a good bed and hot shower. At lake Manyara we did 3 different types of safaris; hiking safari, night game drive and day game drive. We have spotted a lot of animals in just one day at lake Manyara. But walking through the park while noticing the animals are so close was a thrilling experience just as the night game drive when we stumbled on 5 lions on the hunt. However seeing the African animals is amazing, the most impressive experience was visiting the local tribes at lake Eyasi. It is wonderful to get to know their culture and way of living. The local a people are really friendly, make you feel welcome and most importantly very proud of their culture and eager to share it. After visiting the tribes the journey continued to the Ngorongoro crater, this is by far the best place to see a lot of different animals in big groups together. Although the best place according to us is the amazing Serengeti. To see prides of lions laying in the grass eating their prey at just 5 meters away really takes your breath away. At the Serengeti it is also possible to do a balloon safari and this is astonishing and definitely worth it. The view of the first rays of sun light shining over these endless planes is indescribable and also the animals are clearly visible while up in the air. The last day we exited the Serengeti through the western corridor, this is not visited by tourist that much. However it was just another beautiful part of an unforgettable safari. There is more vegetation here and therefore also a better change at spotting elephants. Which we saw in big numbers, even more than 20 together and they were big, really big!
We had a great time at our safari and therefore want to thank our guide Omary and cook Isak for making it possible. They made sure we went home with great stories and unforgettable memories. They were a great company during this safari and Isak lived up to his nickname Mister Delicious!

The greatest tour
5/5

I don’t think this trip would have been so memorable if it weren’t for kilisa. They made this trip an incredible experience and one that I’ll never forget! They were the reason we made to the top of Kilimanjaro and the reason we saw a cheetah hunt in the Serengeti! They are experienced and incredibly kind and accommodating! I highly recommend you choose kilisa!

In this age of pandemics I highly recommend Gosheni Safaris.
5/5

My wife and I researched several African safari operators and found Gosheni to be the best deal for high-end accommodations with custom private tours at a reasonable price. We booked for September of 2020 but that trip was cancelled when CV19 shut down all air travel to Africa.
Peter Gosheni suggested that we rebook for September of 2020 and offered the exact same trip at a 10% discount.
Unfortunately, due to our ages (we are in our 70's) and the CV19 variants were were advised by our physicians not to make the trip. Peter was very understanding and just wired back our deposit.
Not all tour operators would be that generous, as we found with other other legs of our planned African adventure. I trust Peter absolutely and we will rebook with Gosheni Safaris when this pandemic gets under control.

Tour operator Simon was very responsive as we had to reschedule from July 2020 to June 2021.

Wow! Our Kenya trip was fantastic and this tour to Masai Mara was a big part of that trip. Our pickup from our hotel to the airport for the plane ride to Masai Mara was right on time. The flight was very smooth and Tony our guide was at the Masai Mara airstrip to greet us and take us on our first drive en route to the Sarova Mara Game Camp. Tony was a member of the Masai tribe and was a superb driver and guide. We would highly recommend him. We saw lots and lots of animals and all of the big five. Two of our group of four went on the hot air balloon excursion. It was also fantastic. They usually only do the ride if there are at least four people but because of Covid and needing the business, they took only the two of them. They even did the champagne breakfast for just the two of them. All in all this was a fantastic safari with the guide, flights and rides all very punctual and customer oriented. We very highly recommend using them if you are planning a safari to Masai Mara.

Great experience - simple logistics - highly recommended

We had a great experience with Albatros. We flew into Nairobi and spent 3 nights there before being transferred to the Mara. Albatros also assisted our transfer to and from Diani. Throughout that time, Otieno and Ken made sure our travel logistics were seamless. We Highly recommend Albatros Travel!

Fantastic experience
5/5

Monkey Adventures allows you to customize your trip - both the duration and the accommodations. This way you only pay for what you want. They provide links to the different hotels so you can easily chose among them. John, our trip planner, was great with arrangements and changes and responded promptly by email answering all questions, no matter how minor. He also provided links to easily gets visas, etc.

Our guide/driver, Dickson, was fantastic, taking efforts to have us see as much as possible including the big 5, black rhinos and a wildebeast river crossing. He was very knowledgeable and helpful.

All in all, we had a great and very affordable safari with Monkey Adventures.

Perfect Safari
5/5

We spent eleven days with Marko and our guide- David. Perfect is the best word to describe our time with them. Marko took care of everything, any problem solved in no time. For low budget he created an amazing tour over Tanzania included a lot of safari games, waterfall, hot springs, coffee plantations and Kilimanjaro hiking. The hotels and lodges were on good quality and the food was great.
It seems like David knows everything, answered every stupid question we had, very kind person, patient and attentive. He knows where every animal is and we saw crazy things like hunting Cheetah, fighting elephants, lions eating a buffalo and a dead leopard. He has a lot of experience and knowledge and he took a big place in our trip, we are really grateful for him!

I couldn't be more confident than I am right now to recommend African Traces!
