starting from arusha via tarangire national park to lake manyara, mto wa mbu, ngorongoro crater, central serengeti, marariver, lake natron back to arusha. the team around deo shirima did a great job in prepairing the whole gamedrive ; all their advices have been very helpful to get wonderful impressions of nature.
our driver/guide george, a member of the massai spoke good german language and he explained every animal, flower and tree. his courtesy, his knowledge and his behavior made the trip to an outstanding adventure. it‘s worth not to skimp on accomodations.
every evening we Made a Review and discussed our gamdrive for the next day with the guide - so everybody got an idea what will happen next day. george has an outstanding feeling for finding the right stops taking pictures and Videos, whatching animals, hidden places with lions, cheetahs, leopards, hippos … so we did the big 5 within 3 days!!! the most impessive adventure was to be in the middle of more than 20 elephants in a distance of one and a half meter, the crossing of more than one and a half million of wildbeest in one run. on a scale of 0 - 10 furahia and specially our guide george will get 12!!!

Great pick for Mt. Kenya trekking
Did a 4-day trek on Mt Kenya, Sirimon-Chogoria traverse. Joseph is an excellent guide, and Samuel and Jackson formed a great support team (cook and porter). Food was abundant and tasty, hot drinks continuously available to keep hydrated. Recommend.

Did a 3 day trip to Amboseli NP with Sammy as driver/guide. Sammy has excellent spotting skills and thorough wildlife knowledge (particularly birds!) and was very professional throughout, would definitely recommend.

I did extensive research before picking Experience Uganda. We went for 12 days around Uganda to Murchison NP, Bwindi NP, and Jinja. I was very happy with my experience. The person who owns it, Kevin, is extremely knowledgeable about Uganda and worked closely with me to customize my perfect trip. He was responsive, honest, and professional at every step. His suggestions (and guide selection for Murchison) added tremendously to our experience. We met Pius at one of the Fitur exhibitions, years later we decided to climb kilimanjaro finally and chose 7 days machame. He helped us with a lot of with all the information, requirements and tips for a succesfull trek.

Lion King Adventures is top of the Line
Lion king adventures is top of the line and surpasses the other Safari companies on service and experience. The communication prior to booking the Safari was easy and everyone was very quick to respond to answer all of our questions regarding coordination with James through WhatsApp or email to the details and payments with Pendo. It can be difficult to coordinate a PCR covid test in Tanzania in order to fly back to your country or transit through another that requires it, but Lion king made this process stress free and we were able to take one in the middle of the Serengeti and when we arrived our last night in Arusha the test certificates were already printed for us.
Our guide was Salehe (definitely request to have him). He knows all the national parks very well (Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro crater), so knows where to find the animals and is an expert at properly placing your Safari vehicle to have the best viewing and best spot for photos). He took care of everything…once he picked us up from the airport he dealt with all the logistics of hotels and national park permits etc. and we just went with the flow and got to enjoy ourselves. He pays attention to detail and would set up a special picnic lunch for us on the Safari days equipped with tablecloths, table/chairs/ wine bottle with our names engraved on it, kept the food hot or cold, it was amazing. We would see other people from safaris walk by and make comments about how they wished their Safari company would do that. Salehe also made us feel very safe which was important to us as two female travelers.
Our favorite accommodation was Tarangire Treetops- definitely request to stay there. It’s a magical place. Also the Lion King Safari vehicle is very comfortable. There’s even charging ports for your phones and devices and many spots for the drinks they provide for you. All the safaris are private too, which also adds to the best experience. Two things to make sure are in your itinerary are visiting the Maasai village and the sunrise hot air balloon Safari in the Serengeti.
If you are trying to decide on a Safari company, this one takes care of all the logistics, provides you with the best experience, is very affordable, has impeccable service and pays attention to detail, is a private Safari, and is simply THE BEST.
