The perfect safari
Lion King Adventures gave us the perfect safari experience. We emailed Anna with what we needed, and she crafted the trip to include exactly what we asked for... even difficult things like being picked up from Kilimanjaro Airport late at night, a night's accommodation in Arusha organised for us on the night before we started and a drop-off in Moshi at the end, which is much further than Arusha, all of which was incredibly helpful.
The safari itself was wonderful - we visited Tarangire, Lake Manyara, the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater. We saw all the big 5, including two kills, and a whole host of other wildlife. Our guide, James, was great. He was funny, friendly and very knowledgable, keeping up the fun energy in the jeep from start to finish. He was also very flexible to our needs, asking us how long we wanted our days to be and taking us to where he thought we had the best chance of seeing the animals we wanted to see. He was a real expert on the wildlife, answering all the questions we had and more, teaching us local vocab and even saying "I smell lion" about 2 minutes before finding a lion! A master of the plains!
The facilities were wonderful - big, tasty lunches, speakers and wifi (!) in the open-top jeep, lots of water, beer and soft drinks in the jeep and the accommodation was all very comfortable and came with brilliant customer service too.
We did a private, mid-range, 5-day safari, but I'm sure that Lion King Adventures offers a great service no matter which type of tour you choose. It really felt tailored to what we asked for. Me and my friend were both really happy we chose them for our safari adventure, and we would both recommend them to anyone for an amazing experience in Tanzania.

- all our wishes to modify the normal Uganda tour have been fullfilled
- we intergrated a 5 days Rwenzori trekking in our 16 days tour which was working perfectly
in cooperation with Rwenzori Trekking Service Kilembe
- extraordinary experiences by reaching 4062m altitude at Bugata Camp
- Ugandan wildlife is amazing, we saw the Big 5 and many of the other very rare animals
like Shoebill, Rwenzori three horn Chameleon and others
- Chimps at Kibale amazing
- Gorilla trekking at Bwindi Impenetrable NP was the final highlight of this trip with ~ 400 pics
of the Mishaya family
- simply great and hard to describe just by a few words
- also organsation, planning, payments, lodges, etc. have been perfect
- our tour guide has known his country very well and gave many interesting insights of Uganda
- Gorilla Tours is highly recommendable for tours in Uganda!
- Winston Churchill was correct with his statement - Uganda is the "Pearl of Africa" !

Great experience!
Wonderful trip to Gorilla Trecking and Lake Bunyoni with Chigo tours. They were always punctual, provided information prior to all excursions, and answered all of our questions. Loved stopping during the rides for photo ops and driving with the roof up in the open ugandan air! Highly recommend :)

A trip to remember!
Lets start off with the positives...
Communication went really went, I also received a reply on the day. Which was great.
Our guide and driver Abraham was fantastic!!! He was really friendly and made our safari something we will never ever forget! Thanks Abraham!! We saw and learnt so much from him!
There are some negatives however,
After receiving the quote and saying yes, we were told that there was a mistake in the price.
One of the places we chose to stay was further away, of which we were unaware of. Uhuru did not know of this either and we therefore had to pay 100 Dollars extra for our transfer. We found this out on the day we arrived. This is something I think could have been avoided if researched prior to our arrival or maybe when making up the itinerary.
Some of the paperwork had not been done timeously so we missed a few hours on 2 days due to waits at the gate waiting for paperwork to be submitted.
Despite the negatives, this was a trip of lifetime and something we will cherish forever. The positives definitely outweigh the negatives but if Uhuru could improve on those small things it will only benefit them. It was definitely a trip we could not have done on our own!

My gorilla and chimp tour with Encounter Africa Safaris, and Tolbert, my guide, was life-changing
From the very beginning, Encounter Africa Safaris was amazing. Chris answered every minute question I asked!! They took care of everything. The schedules were precise and extremely organized. My guide and driver, Tolbert, was incredible. He was so friendly and accommodating. He never tired of my requests!! He was always so cheerful and helpful, despite the long hours. Wherever we went, lodges, stop overs, trekking locations, he was well recognized and respected. The guides knew him well and went out of their way to greet him. He made sure I had the best and most experienced guides. He made sure that I was well taken care of. After my incredible gorilla trek, I was so emotional. When I came down the mountain and saw Tolbert, I burst out crying!! I trusted him with my life, basically, for a whole week and never did I feel one moment of doubt. I am eternally grateful for my Uganda experience with Encounter Africa Safaris, Chris and Tolbert. It was a life-changing experience for me. I can't wait to do it again!! Thank you. Thank you. They are very accommodating as what you would expect from a tour/travel agency.
They arrive on time to pick us up. They are very accommodating that make us feel welcome and comfortable during the entire tour. They do not bother to stop so that we can have the sufficient time to enjoy the scenery and experience the wilderness. They let us see even the small animal to have the complete experience. And they brought us home safely after the trip ending the journey with a group picture. It is really a wonderful experience with Kichaka Tours and Travel.

Perfect trip to Mikumi
Tanzania Explorer did an excellent job arranging a one-day safari in Mikumi for a group of 26 students from Denmark. The students definitely enjoyed the experience! The guides managed to find both lions, elephants, buffalos, hippos, giraffes etc. The vehicles were in a very good condition and the planning and communication with the manager ahead of the trip was very professional.
