Fantastic experience!
5/5

We were very impressed with our one week Maasai Mara-Nakuru-Amboseli tour with Flash Mc Tours. Although we were a little nervous booking with a small company at first that, Peter was very responsive over emails and came personally to pick us up at the airport along with the driver. His hospitality immediately put as at ease and we knew we had made the right choice.

We then embarked on a week long journey through Mara (prepare for a long bumpy ride), Lake Nakuru, and Amboselli national park. The accommodation that Peter selected for us was excellent and got better as the days progressed. If you're going to Amboselli, we would highly recommend Kibo Safari camp - probably one of the best camps we've ever stayed in.

We would advise you to figure out what you actually want to see and do and then ask the company to tailor it for you. Also, enquire about times of the drives between the places as they were longer than we expected. The food was good, the water provided was plenty, we always felt safe and entertained by our drivers- David, Joshua and Leonard. The drivers were always on time and remained professional throughout. We would fully recommend this company. Thank you Peter and Flash McTours!

Amazing experience
5/5

Organising a trip to Tanzania was not simple at the beginning but it actually became so straightforward when we are told by a friend to go through Epic Africa Adventure (EAA).
We had many different propositions from other travel agencies but EAA's one was the most flexible, especially for the Safari as it was really tailored with what we wanted to do on a daily basis, and the least expensive.
Once in Tanzania, everything went perfectly and smoothly, during our first week when we were climbing the Kilimanjaro, our guides, cook and porteurs were so nice, helpful and friendly and it's part of the fact that we could have made it to the top!
Same story with the Safari, our guide was exceptionally knowledgeable, thanks to him, we saw the big fives, the great migrations and many other wild animals while discovering and enjoying the amazing landscapes of the National Parks.
In between those 2 weeks, everything was arranged already and Daniel, who runs EEA, was always taking good care of us and was checking if everything was fine.
To conclude, if you want to go to Tanzania, use Epic Africa Adventure for sure and then just relax and enjoy.
For us it was a marvelous experience, a trip of a lifetime and all thanks to Epic Africa Adventure.

Awesome - Wilderness, Waves and so much more. A fantastic Safari experience
5/5

It’s just over a week since we returned from an amazing family holiday travelling through the Kenyan safari parks with a few days chilling on the beach along the way. Our two sons (14 and 17) wanted an African adventure and that’s just what Daniel and the Transtrek team delivered. From the initial contact followed by many calls and emails Daniel was patiently able to tailor our trip to meet our budget including some fantastic locations with a bit of luxury along the way.

Our guide Peter met us at the airport, and was immensely knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide for seven days. For the first few days the awesome sight of Kilimanjaro was the backdrop to our time in Amboseli with its elephant herds and then more distantly in the volcanic hills of Tsavo West. Settling into a dawn to dusk lifestyle soon came naturally, our teenage boys readily overcame the shock of a 6.30am game drive!
Our favourite place was the rustic Epiya Chapeyu camp in Tsavo East. What it says on their website is true – there are no fences, elephants do walk through the camp and the Italian food is delicious! Slightly surreal but an incredible camp that really is in the wilderness.

The scariest part of the trip wasn’t the close proximity to so much predatory wildlife, Peter had our full admiration when driving through the nerve-wracking chaotic roadworks on the Nairobi Mombasa highway as we headed for the coast! A few days at beautiful Kilifi Creek at the Mnarani Beach Resort allowed some time to rest and relaxation after the excitement of safari. Sailing, snorkelling and scuba diving kept us entertained at very reasonable prices. We concluded our trip with an indulgent fly-in safari package to the Massai Mara to catch the latter part of the Great Migration. The list of wildlife we saw was enormous; big cats, herds of zebra and wildebeest, giraffes, eagles, vultures and an octopus only a rhino proved elusive from the Big Five search.
Everywhere we went we were warmly welcomed and looked after. Our many Kenyan hosts were kind and attentive, the service was excellent and always cheerful.

Daniel’s attention to detail in arranging our holiday genuinely made this a trip that we will all remember as an amazing experience. We’ve got countless memories and photographs to look back on.

A huge thank you to Transtrek, we’d recommend anyone looking for that special safari experience at a sensible price to get in touch with Daniel and the team.

Amazing Time.
5/5

We recently got back from a two week honeymoon. We travelled to Kenya first for a week then to Zanzibar. The whole trip was amazing, well planned and stress free. The two safari camps we stayed at (saruni samburu, Richards river camp Masi Mara) were beautiful, the people were friendly and couldn't do more to help. We got everything and more out of the safari, we saw all the incredible animals and some truely beautiful sights. Our final week was spent on a beach in Zanzibar at the stunning resort called The Residence. This was truely beautiful and relaxing. We would recommend the luxury safari company to anyone planning a once in a life time trip.

Fantastic guide and good planning
5/5

Noah Kutti did an excellent job laying out the itinerary while Geoffrey (our guide in Kenya) was just awesome. We plan to come back to Masai Mara soon and there is no qs. as to which company we are going to choose. Only thing is that some of the drives (such as from Nakuru to Mara) are pretty long and over unpaved roads. If you can afford, try taking the flights for these 6+ hour road trips. You back will thank you.

Super helpful and friendly lodge managers
5/5

My wife and I had a great 5 day safari to both private game reserves and Kruger National Park with Viva Safaris. The organization by Viva Safaris was very helpful because they are able to organize tours that visit the private game reserves without having to pay the exorbitant prices to actually stay at the private game reserve. By far the highlight of the trip though were the super friendly and helpful lodge managers. We picked a trip that included accommodations in "an intimate lodge next to Kapama in luxurious tented chalets with private splash pools". The lodge was named Katekani and it was an amazing experience. The rooms were gorgeous and spacious, the food was delicious and custom cooked to our tastes and requirements and the couple that ran the lodge: Allan and Elena went out of their way to make sure we had an incredible time.

A perfect safari experience
5/5

We had an absolutely brilliant Safari organized by Diederik. He was great with communication, he made some helpful suggestions, and was really accommodating in what we were after i.e. Our time frame, budget and experiences we wanted. (Diederik even came and met us at the very start of our Journey in Uganda and had such a well organized tour package to give us)
Our Safari was organized as a 15 day luxury safari, which is the expensive way of seeing Africa but so worth it to have small safari groups and close animal encounters (we had 2 days that it was only the tour guide, my hubby and myself in the safari car) and we were absolutely thrilled with our experience.
Because we were traveling in April/May Diederik suggested Uganda for the Gorillas as well as Zimbabwe and Botswana for the animals. We were so lucky to see everything we wanted...both Uganda and the Gorillas are truly amazing, Vic falls were spectacular, and the wildlife in Botswana was just sensational (we saw everything except a rhino and we even saw the wild dogs).
What we loved about this safari were the people, all the staff were so incredibly welcoming, hard working and attentive, the safari drivers really know their stuff and actually track animals for you. We always felt safe, our journey was organized so well that there was always someone to meet us for each transfer and take us directly to our destination, through border crossings and everything. We couldn't thank Diederik enough for the quality of our Safari. We thought it was a one off adventure but we now know Africa has so much more to offer and we will definitely be booking with Ubuntu Safaris again.

A One Day Safari to Tsavo East National Park
5/5

Our time in Kenya was most wonderful and African Mosaic Safaris played a big part. The safari to Tsavo East National Park was excellent. We chose a one day safari and were not sorry we did. One day was enough for us. The driver/tour guide was a good driver and an excellent guide. The day, of course, was long and the roads were difficult to navigate. He did a very good job. He was great at spotting the animals and allowed us to take our time in taking many photographs. I would definitely recommend African Mosaic Safaris.
