Personalised tour through Etosha, Caprivi, Chobe and Victoria Falls
5/5

We wanted a small group personalised tour to see the wildlife in Namibia as we had not been to Africa previously. After finding Nature Travel Namibia on the internet and emailing Nick we started the ball rolling to find out what he could do for us.
Nick was very responsive and professional in his email dealings and upgraded some of the accommodation and tour itinerary for us to start our 10 night tour leaving Windhoek to Etosha NP (4 nights across 3 lodges), then to Okavango River (2 nights), Kwando River/Bwabwata NP (1 night), Chobe NP Botswana (2 nights) and concluding at Victoria Falls(1 night).
All lodge accommodation and meals were of a high standard, but the real highlight was the fact we were on a "personal" tour with Nick, with ourselves and only one other couple, Colin & Jane from the U.K. Our guide Nick Buys shared his passion for his native country Namibia and with a background as a qualified vet, he has amazing knowledge of the wildlife and the country. Each day we did either 2 wildlife drives or a combination of drive and river boat safaris. Nick has a sharp eye for picking out wildlife and was able to spot some of the
incredible animals in the wild bush and navigate for us to get very close for some wonderful observations and pictures/film. I started a list of what we saw but gave it away after recording 30 animals and 40 bird varieties as it could have gone on forever.
We had started our trip planning thinking we might self-drive Namibia, but we're glad we decided to go with Nature Travel Namibia as Nick took all the stress out by organising "everything" and there is no way we would have seen as much, particularly the animals, if we had gone with a self-drive.
We can highly recommend the services of Nature Travel Namibia and we would definitely go with them again if we come back to do another wildlife tour.

Amazing experience
5/5

I booked my trip online off course I was little scared how it's going to be but everything turned out amazing!
James is very professional and the same time so friendly. He treated us like we've been friends forever...
He is able to answer every questions even more than we have known to ask, he informed us briefly.
He was very careful about what we told him, what we are expecting to see, he gave us our dream come true. I fell in love with Tanzania in 4 days and now dreaming going back for more days.

Family Get away Experience
5/5

We stayed at Sopa Lodges in Masai Mara. These lodges were more than adequate, clean, and had very good staff service. What was more amazing were the sizes of the bed. ‘Big’ you are assured of a good night sleep. The game drives were incredible - usually we had 2 each day - there was no shortage of driving in the parks. We saw hundreds of thousands of wildebeest , 12 lions, hundreds of elephants, hundreds of zebras, 5 cheetahs, rhinos, hippos... We took a ride on the lake to see crocodiles. We hiked Hell's Gate. The trip was absolutely spectacular. Hats off to Kenya Tru Nomads Tours and to our guide/ driver Cholda for introducing us to Kenya and providing an experience that will be with my family forever.

Amboseli national park is a fantastic place, we seen lots of fantastic animals, like lions, gnus, elephants, hippos, flamingos, impalas, thomson's gazelles and grant's gazelles. The scenery is outstanding, so emotional too! is like being in a magic place. Our guide was amazing and explained everything that we need to know (Safari Dream ltd). The weather was little cold but nothing to moan about, was very suitable.

Planet of the Elephants

My fiancé and I are in our 30's from New York City and recently took a two week tour to Kenya and Tanzania. What an incredible life experience that everyone must absolutely do in their lifetime - and better sooner rather than later. You will feel like you're living in a National Geographic video. Just make sure you go the right time of year. Children will absolutely love it - just make sure they're old enough to remember it. In Kenya we went to Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Samburu Game Reserve, Lake Nakuru National Park and the highlight, the incredible Maasai Mara to witness the great migration. In Tanzania we went to Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara Park and Ngorongoro Crater. Tarangire was our first stop in Tanzania after Kenya and our first reaction was "whoa, there are a lot of elephants here. And they are BIG" - they owned the place. We saw baby and adolescent elephants play fighting which was a highlight. Plenty of other animals as well - we saw lions, leopards lazing about in the trees, several bird species, zebras and wildebeest. We really enjoyed our time in Tarangire and highly encourage you to visit.

Nice trip
5/5

Fantastic as usual!! We had absolutely wonderful safari experiences - perhaps the beach side was a little tame after that (we are not that good at relaxing).Clearly we are very happy with your service - you provide us with the expertise and very clear information we need. There have been no nasty surprises on any of the holidays because everything has been so thoroughly explained before we go.

An awe-inspiring, once-in-a-lifetime trip
5/5

I cannot recommend Maasai Wanderings highly enough. I and my daughter travelled through Tanzania with them (organised by our excellent UK agent, Bushbaby) and everything was superb, from the organisation to the accommodation to what we actually saw (which was nearly everything). We went from Arusha to Tarangire, Ngorogoro, Oldupai Gorge and the Serengeti.

Our guide Chris was absolutely incredible. We really appreciated his kindness and helpfulness, his super knowledge of all the wildlife, his excellent, safe driving and his good humour. We felt very looked after; it was great to be able to hand over responsibility for the logistics so we could really enjoy everything. Chris even put up with our terrible singing without a word of complaint. The trip was a legacy from my mum whom we sadly lost two years ago, and it really was an incredible, once-in-a-lifetime adventure. We loved everything and had a truly wonderful time – even better than we could have imagined. We will remember it forever.

Thank you so much to Maasai Wanderings, and especially to Chris.

Excellent safari tour in Serengeti and Ngorongoro
5/5

Emma provided us with an excellent guide and a good cook. We traveled with two teenagers who were just impressed by this great tour. We highly recommend this safari company who is runned with an ethical perspective and contributes to the promotion of women in the Masai communities.

Nice safari, old and broken vehicles and poor staff
3/5

Although Safari was amazing and we get to see all animals, there's a huge room to improve in staff/drivers and vehicles. Our vehicle was broken two times, we've change to another vehicle, and this was broken again. Drivers due not explain many things, and they drive looking all the time the mobile phone, so the trip was not safe. They don't provide you waters even it's included on the price, you have to request them all the time. On a stop to a restaurant, the driver and vehicle has disappear without saying nothing with all our bags, because they have to repair the vehicle, a bad experience. Price is good.
