The lodge where we stayed (Serena hotel) was excellent in care, performance, food, housing, ambiance and friendliness.
The safaritour was excellent in information and the driver was very friendly and willing and he knew much.

Unbelievably Fantadtic

Amazing 4 day safari staying in 2 different lodges. We went to Lake Manyara Ngorogoro and Serengeti. Our guide was great. Really polite and unbelievably accommodating very patient every time we asked him to stop for us to take a photo.
The organisation was smooth and we would certainly recommend them. A trip that will stay in our memories for a lifetime and for all the right reasons.

If it wasn’t for its excellent service, flexibility and prompt replies we wouldn’t have make it!
5/5

Robert was our savor, since our flight had been cancelled and he managed to work out an excellent last minute solution, making up for the time we lost stuck at airports. Besides Robert’s prompt, creative and last minute recommendations and solutions (out of office hours), the safari and our driver/guide were exceptional! We will definitely travel with Karibu Safaris in Kenta again!

The sight seeing experience
5/5

I believe they are up to the standards required and likely even more. As a company they have been able to make a mark in many other fields apart from just being a tour company And that means they are more than amazing at what they do.

These people are completely dishonest. Both Maggie and driver Patrick are not honest or truthful.
1/5

The first 3 days of the safari was excellent. I thought our driver was excellent.

Then, the driver, Patrick, cancelled the last game drive on the last morning, cheating us out of the last game drive on the last day of the safari. The schedule called for a total of five game drives, we got four. I thought we had another game drive, but I never had a printed hard copy. I had the schedule on my computer, but internet access was bad at the lodge and the schedule was inaccessable.

I calculated the value of each of the drives at $220 each.

Patrick was in a bad mood on the last day. I could not get my seat belt fastened, and he impatiently got out and finally got it fastened. I then unfastened it to make sure it would reopen properly, and then I could not refasten it. He angrily asked why I had unfastened it. I said I wanted to make certain that it would open. I do not want to be stuck in a wrecked van and unable to get out. FIRE?? He could not get it working and I moved to another seat.

Also on that last day, he refused to stop and allow me to take a photo I wanted. He said no, that the locals did not want their picture taken, and wanted to be paid for it. I said ok, I will pay. He still would not stop. The photo I wanted was of a donkey pulling a very heavy loaded wagon.

It turned out to be an deadly silent return trip to Nairobi. Patrick had previously told us he was tired of the job. This day was totally unlike the first days.

I talked to Maggie about the trip and asked for a refund for the missed last game drive. She offered $20.00. I declined that offer.

Then, Maggie said she finally talked to Patrick. She said that he told her that I called him "shit" the entire trip. That was ridiculous. She also said something very strange, that I was "drinking" something. I hardly ever drink, and when I do, I am country western dancing and my natural limit is two, and there was no alcohol in the van. That was a very far out claim.

DO NOT PAY THESE PEOPLE CASH- THERE IS SOMETHING VERY BAD ABOUT THESE PEOPLE.

ALL THE SAFARI PEOPLE WANT CASH UP FRONT, WHERE IS THE PROTECTION FOR THE CUSTOMERS??

By all means, go on a safari! The animals are great! Just don't risk it on these people!

No worries! The staff was AMAZING!
5/5

We had an amazing trip in January of 2018. This travel agent reached out to us immediately when we asked for information about traveling to Tanzania through the Zicasso website. from that point on, she was responsive and supportive. She was willing to do several calls with us since this was our first safari and we had lots and lots of questions.

Things didn't go exactly as planned for our trip. I got a severe case of bronchitis and one of the camps was destroyed (Jabali Ridge). From our agent to the people on the ground at the camps, they were concerned about my health and had antibiotics and cough suppressants brought to the camp. I was so sick at Namiri Plains Camp that they brought all of my meals to my tent and also brought gallons of hot tea and honey to help me soothe my cough.

When the camp at Jabali Ridge was so severely damaged in a storm, we were rerouted and taken to a different camp that we loved. It was Sayari Camp and was in Northern Tanzania. We didn't worry about any of the details because our travel agent and the tour company were taking care of all of it. They were amazing.

Animal sightings and tours from each of the various camps we stayed in. eAch camp was so different and our agent kept telling us that but now we get it. All over the country, there are different wildlife, different terrain and we felt like we were exposed to all of it. We saw everything that we could have asked for (the big 5) and much more. We loved having our own tour guides at each camp and throughout the trip. We started at Lake Manyara National Park where we saw lots of baboons and birds. We then went to The Highlands Ngorongoro for the first events and while it was very remote, it was beautiful. The crater was amazing and truly indescribable. We saw herds of elephants, a black rhino, a hippo pool. It was great. We learned a lot about Maasai tribe and their traditions and way of life.

Our next adventure was Namiri Plains Camp which was in Central Serengeti and located in Serengeti National Park. We could see for miles and again it was awesome. There were great rock formations (Kopjes). You could hear the lions from your tents. There we saw lions, cheetahs, leopards, lions and zebras and wildebeests. There were a couple kills and by having our own driver, we got a birds eye view. The last part of our stay was in Sayari Camp which was in Northern Serengeti. It was amazing. The terrain was again very different and we had the benefit of the Mara River. This brought more elephants, giraffes, hippos and crocodiles. We again saw the cats, zebras and more that I can describe and ended our trip with a sunset toast. Finally we enjoyed a couple days in a very luxurious hotel on Zanzibar. I loved it.

Perfect personalized itinerary
5/5

We loved working with Dancing Zebra. With the company being a little smaller than many companies out there we felt really comfortably with Jessica, and her great communication throughout the process of booking and during travel. We felt like there was always someone on the other end of emails, text or calls to make sure any of our questions were answered. The trip she put together for us based on vague ideas we had was perfect. Everything and everyone made us feel so special, definitely a 5* vacation, and the trip of a lifetime.
