This is not my first trip and safari with Axis Africa. When I first chose this company I was full of fears and doubts. Before choosing a company for me and my group of friends, I read a lot and exchanged a lot of emails with various safari companies in Kenya. Lennox was the only one who immediately won my heart with his accuracy and flexibility in correspondence. He speaks at every point. He senses your desires and worries and does everything possible to clear all fears and doubts. I do not regret that I chose this company and no matter how many times I have to choose or recommend to someone a reliable partner in Kenya, I will choose Lenox again and again! On my first trip, my great discovery was the driver-guide Kikitu. Kikitu is an interesting mixture of the blood of two tribes - Maasai and Kikuyu! This helps him to have a deep connection and knowledge of the living life and traditions of the two tribes. He also knows a lot about wildlife, wildlife habits and is happy to share his knowledge with tourists. Kikitu is very emotional and full of positive energy that infects everyone.
When we visited this year, our group was larger than one jeep, so we had to use two jeeps with two driver guides. Jack is also a very warm-hearted and ever-smiling guide full of positive energy. Thanks to Kikitu and Jack we had an unforgettable 5 day safari. They were always in the best place for visibility and photos. For all future tourists who will choose Axis Africa, I would recommend - trust your guides and be sure that they will make the best choice for you, they will protect you and give you the best, so you will stay really satisfied and happy with your discovery of living life and the best photos!
Not only that - on this trip I was afraid about our safety from infections and especially from the crown virus. This fear of mine disappeared when I saw the high hygiene in which our accommodation was maintained, as well as the restaurants and kitchens where we ate. My congratulations on that!

Lion King Adventures was easy to work with and created a memorable trip with a reasonable budget
Going on a safari trip has always been on my bucket list. Until very recently, this trip had financially been out of our reach. So when I was looking for safari tour operators, it was important to me that I chose a company that was reliable, communicative, had good value and would allow us to see as much as possible. I contacted several companies but ended up choosing Lion King Adventures. And I’m incredibly happy with my choice.
I have only used tour operators a handful of times because I generally prefer traveling at my own pace and like to have control over my own trip. I am happy to say that Lion King Adventures made the entire experience feel so seamless. From the very beginning, Pendo was so responsive - often instantly. Because of COVID, I had to change our schedule a few times and she handled that so professionally. Right before our arrival, I also realized we needed an extra COVID test and she calmly reassured me, handled all of my frantic questions and scheduled that for me as well. I was incredibly happy with the front office service.
We also felt the cost of the tour was incredibly reasonable. We ended up doing an 8 night private safari with our guide, Gilbert. From the beginning, Gilbert was the perfect guide - patient, incredibly attuned and attentive to what we wanted to see and a great animal spotter. It was obvious that he cared about making sure we saw what we wanted to see. Many of the guides will often help each other spot animals and we would often take detours to drive out to the sightings of the animals my husband and I specifically wanted to see more of or had not yet seen. He was incredibly patient even though I wanted to stop and take pictures of giraffes every time we ran into them. He was an expert at spotting animals — we envy his eyesight. We really enjoyed our time with him and have been amazed by his knowledge of the birds and animals that we’ve seen.
The food and lodgings were all included with our tour. Lion King chose great partners for our trip. We had our anniversary while on this trip and it seems Pendo passed along the information to the lodges and camps, which was a beautiful touch. The decision to do a private tour with Lion King Adventures was the best decision on this incredibly memorable trip. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to come to Tanzania on safari on a reasonable budget.

Kikitu is amazing! H3 is friendly, welcoming, kind and accommodating. He went over and above to make us feel special. I'm feel very sad that I have to leave Kenya because Kikitu made Kenya feel like home. What a special safari! I will remember it forever! Excellent communication and great value for the money
We had an amazing experience accomplished so much in one day!
Plane left Zanzibar and after a short flight landed in the middle of Nyerere park.
Our driver did above and beyond in order for us to see all the animals and actually he was the first to take us to see the lions.
All other card got stuck in mud @ one point however we were able to get out without much effort.
An amazing safari experience, off road and definitely able to get close to lions, hyenas , giraffe, gazelle, hypopotaames, buffaloes, elephants, monkeys, zebras and I’m sure I left many behind..

Experience of a lifetime, the most perfect itinerary!
‘The Warm Heart of Africa’, Malawi, is a truly special place. We’re so glad we discovered this wonderful country with thanks to The Crafted Africa team. They are exceptional; knowledgeable, experienced and beyond helpful. They planned the perfect itinerary for us which ran seamlessly. Our transfers always arrived with plenty of time to spare and were very comfortable. The accommodation they selected was incredible!
The trip was the perfect mix of wildlife, adventure and relaxation. We’ll never forget our evening sipping sun downers on the river while watching elephants cross the water as well as many other perfect moments.

Ben was great/funny/humorous/knowledgeable & made sure we got to see most animals
Initially, I wasn't interested in Masai Mara safari but after the trip I have admit this was an experience of a lifetime. I go to see most of the animals except Rhino. On the first day we early morning we got to see a buffalo killed by two lions in front of our eyes and very close. The Jambo Mara lodges were luxurious, comfortable, with a pool to swim. Safari was very hectic as you would go on the drive at 6am. The jeep was very comfortable with 9 people on board. We got stuck in the mud twice and Ben the driver with other tour jeeps was able to pull us out. It was very safe and Ben was knowledgeable about different animals and was able to answer all our queries. He made an extra effort to make sure we get to see all animals except the Rhino which was no where to be found. We saw plenty of Zebras, Buffalo, Elephants, Giraffe, Hyenas, Cheetah, Lions, Deer to name a few. Also saw vultures, Secretary bird and the national bird of Uganda. Loved every minute of the safari. I would highly recommend anyone of all ages to take the safari by Karibu Safari as they are reliable, honest and dependable. Robert from 'Karibu Safari' was most helpful and guided me through the whole process before coming to Kenya.
My suggestion would be to extend the safari by one day so on the last day people can relax in Jambo Mara pool side and enjoy the food & drinks before returning to Nairobi. I found Kenyans to be very friendly, hospitable, & nice to deal with. I am sold on Kenya,,,,, lovely country & people,,,,,,,,, Hakuna Matata !! I will never forget it !!

3 wonderful days of safari!!!
We spent 3 wonderful days of safari in Tarangire and Ngorongoro. Samir, our driver-guide was simply exceptional. He taught us a lot about animals and had a keen eye for finding them. We had a good time in general with him. We recommend this tour operator!!!!
