Emanuel worked with me to customize our safari and everything went very smoothly and was planned perfectly. I was traveling with my 85 year old mother and he was helpful and attentive to her needs. As a guide he is simply amazing and has an uncanny ability to spot elusive animals!

When you're looking for a trustworthy guy - Emmanuel is your guy!
I went through my storage drawer at home in Finland today and came across a business card from soon-to-be year ago that I thought I had lost. Better late than never, I just wanted to write review for Emmanuel! I did safari in Tanzania a year ago, not through Crater Explorer but another company. I was not aware of the Crater Explorer back then, found a company before my arrival to Arusha in Internet and went with them. If I am ever to go back to Tanzania now for another safari I would most definitely choose Crater Explorer! While spending several days in Arusha before and after my safari Emmanuel was my driver and he was always so eager to help me with whatever I needed. I learned from him that he owns his own safari company as well, Crater Explorer. I wish I had known that before my safari so I would have chosen them. While I unfortunately do not have safari experience with them I wholeheartedly do believe all these five-star-reviews I read about Crater Explorer here. If I ever will get to return I am most definitely going to use this company - and in the meanwhile I would like to recommend the most professional and kind, polite, fun to be around, caring and knowledgeable safari company owner Emmanuel and his company to you! The parks and animals are amazing, and this is the company you want to experience and explore them with!

Amazing 11 Day Kenya Safari (Masai Mara/Nakuru/Samburu)
Just returned home from an amazing 11 day Kenya safari planned and guided by Anthony. Due to COVID the planning, rescheduling, hotel changes, etc. proved more challenging than other trips I have arranged but Anthony was up to the task and never complained or seemed bothered by the many & last minute changes which we had to make to make this trip happen. Since I had been on safari twice before I was wanting to focus on the Big Cats, mom's with babies and harder to find wildlife which required an excellent guide who knew the parks well & had good contacts. Anthony came through for us and it turned out to be one of the best photo safari trips I have ever been on. In addition, I found Anthony to be honest, reliable & enjoyable to be with. The hotels he recommended were of good quality & he was willing to create a very unique tour to meet our specific needs and objectives. Despite the challenges COVID presented I am so glad we decided to take this trip and would definitely travel with Anthony again and my friend who accompanied me got to see the Big 5 on her first trip.
