Very professional and knowledgeable.
Loved almost everything about it. The food at Zebra Camp was about a 7 out of 10, They tried too hard to serve American type food in my opinion. The lodge and staff were top flight. One could not put a coffee cup down for a minute without it getting whisked away.

5 star trip with Apollo M!
Myself and my partner booked a 10 day trip with East African Jungle Safaris and it was AMAZING. We really appreciate all the help the boys gave as we crammed a huge amount in 10 days between Rwanda and Uganda including gorilla trekking, 2 chimp treks, golden monkey trekking, Queen Elizabeth National Park and the Diane Fossey walk. We also managed to visit Lake Kivu and Lake Bunyonyi. The accommodation was amazing - so many beautiful and private eco lodges with incredible views. I must mention the drive to Lake Bunyonyi - it was breathtaking. Food was also great. Our guide Apollo listened to everything we said and ensured we didn’t miss a thing. Thank you so much Apollo! You made our trip!!

The communication on WhatsApp or other media works fast & smoothly, prices and tour packages are very fair and flexible.
Moreover, the staff as well as the Safari drivers are always willing to assist with further support (e.g. transport to hotels, aiport etc.) and to make the best out of your Safari experience.

Gorilla Habituation Experience with Elias
We were picked up by our amazing guide Elias. He was incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable. We traveled about 9 hours to the Rushaga Gorilla Lodge. We were happy to have great meals with Elias while he gave us further insight into the gorilla trek. He took us to the trailhead to begin our journey to visit with a gorilla family that they have been working with for around a year and a half. We were in great hands with a group of five people including a guide, two trackers, a researcher and a soldier. The hike was arduous, but absolutely worth it! We were able to observe a family of eight gorillas for around three hours, following them through the forest, watching them eat and play. It was incredible! We were beyond impressed with our experience and would highly recommend this program to other travelers. Uganda is such a special place with lovely people!

Bakari, my main contact, is a professional who you can trust without a doubt. Whatever he will say, he will do it. He will be there for you showing his true interest in offering a good service and making you feel satisfied. He can assist you in any issue you may face while travelling. He was also proactive which proved to be very helpful. He was always communicating with me and I could call him with any questions whenever I wanted. Amazing experience, our guide was lovely and Kenya is unreal.
The communications all throughout the process were excellent. Derrick was extremely helpful and pleasant through email and in person. Our guide Sammy was a very experienced driver and knowledgeable guide. He was on top of what was happening all throughout the parks through his van's radio, so he managed to get us close to animals that were normally quite difficult to catch. He said we were quite lucky but I know part of it was his proactive and alertness of his environment. While we were there it rained most of the time, but this was no obstacle for us to have a great time, as our guide knew how to safely and surely navigate the muddy roads. He was also very pleasant and interesting to talk to. The hotels they booked for us were enjoyable, especially Lion Hill Lodge in Lake Nakuru. Overall this was an amazing experience thanks to Travel Waves Safaris, 100% recommend!
