Great Tour Group
5/5

My wife and I did a private day safari in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. It was a great trip since we only had one day to do a safari. The tour staff were very knowledgeable and friendly as well as professional. Also the price was very reasonable and a bit less than our tour operators with similar packages. Our guide did a great job of pointing out and naming all sorts of interesting animals. The food for lunch was plentiful and delicious. It was also interesting talking to our guide about the local tribes in the area and their customs. Overall it was a great day and we are very glad we booked with Lights on Africa. I would highly recommend this trip.

Lions and Gorillas
5/5

We booked the "comfort" tour with Matoke anti was great. This was the 5 day package with 2 nights in QE park and 2 at Lake Mutanda for the Gorillas. We lucked out by seeing lions, elephants, and even a leopard at QE and the gorilla trekking was excellent (except for all the selfie's taken.) Our driver David J was superb. He helped us spot 50 species of bird and handled the amazingly bad roads with confidence and comfort. The travel between sites was long and tiring (even just riding). My advice is to schedule 7 days, stay an extra night in QE Park and another one at Lake Mutanda which is exceptionally beautiful. It would make the travel in between that much more valuable. Also, go for the upgrade to the 4 land cruiser.
All in all, though seeing Uganda at bit is very much part of the interest. Matoke was professional and confident.

Time to Return
5/5

I'm in the process of planning another safari (this time with a group; my first visit in 2015 was solo). I'm researching and reading but my heart and mind keep returning to Asilia and Rekero Camp. Previously I stayed at Rekero and Naboisho camps; both were amazing. I still remember my heart stopping momentarily seeing the elephant and water buffalo eyes shining back at me from my Naboisho tent and hearing the elephants munch and crunch all night long! Rekero had such a special feel all through camp and as a solo traveler I never felt uncomfortable. Staff and other guests were friendly and open.

Asilia Africa really helped me put together a last-minute safari that was better than I ever could have imagined. I also appreciate and admire Asilia's efforts at being unobtrusive in the area (and still use my steel water bottle!). Jacob at Rekero and Daniel at Naboisho were amazing guides.

So yeah, I'm researching more as I begin to plan this next group safari, but I know we're ending up at Rekero!

amazing trip with amazing local guides
5/5

Everything from the pick-up at the airport until the end in Arusha was perfectly organised by Nelson.
The driver Abdulah has a lot of experience and has eyes like a eagle to spot wildlife you would never find by yourself. The cook made everyday very delicious food according to your wish or just let you surprise :-) If you have allergies or if you don't like something then just tell them before the trip and your wishes will be respected with pleasure.
We did a great tour through the Tarangire NP, Serengeti NP, Ngorongoro NP and did as well the great hike towards the top of Oldoinyo Lengai. Nelson was happy to organise everything according to our wish-list and so it was very easy to make up our customised trip. The contact while organising the trip was very straight forward and easy.
We can definitely recommend as well doing the tour by camping because so you can feel the nature much more than staying in the luxurious resorts.
--> from price, fun, quality, organisation and etc. everything was perfect :-)
Thanks agin for this great time!!

Masai Mara February 2017
5/5

We had a great trip to Masai Mara with E-Trip Africa. Planning the trip was a breeze. E-Trip Africa walked us through multiple options in the region, recommended itineraries and lodging, and then put everything together. the planning was a great experience, as we were involved, but got expert advice. Once on safari, everything went smoothly. The guide was great - very professional, patient with us, knowledgeable about the park and local culture, and great with our kids. The recommended lodging was a highlight - great place on the river that really put you out into the bush and was very eco-friendly. Importantly, the vehicle was in great shape and facilitated a very good safari. We have been on many many safaris in Africa and this was definitely one of the best.

A memorable Safari Adventure to Zimbabwe and Botswana ,extremely well organised by Chris Ronneseth
5/5

Well what can we say what hasn't already said by Gary and Donna Jopling.
All of the trip was very well organised .Communication and dealings with Safari partners prior to this trip were excellent and after this experience we would have no hesitation in recommending Safari Partners
We loved both camps we stayed in (Elephant Camp in Zimbabwe and Xudum Okavango Delta Lodge in Botswana).Staying in these camps has been a real treat!
All of the staff looked after us very well indeed:They were friendly and attentive and nothing seemed too much.
The food and accommodation were first class .

I cannot put into words how truly wonderful my experience was with Tanzania Choice!
5/5

I arrived in Tanzania having booked my trip with a different tour provider... which did not exactly go to plan! I had planned to climb Kilimanjaro and do a short safari afterwards before heading home. However, upon arrival it soon became clear that what i had been promised was not going to materialise. Luckily, I was put into contact with Brenda from Tanzania Choice who quickly arranged for me to meet her & helped me to organise a brand new itinerary within hours! I could not have asked for a more professional service who tailored the trip to my every need under such short time pressures. The service was not only professional but also personal and helped to calm my nerves after a very stressful first day in Tanzania. I met my Kilimanjaro guide, Festo, within a few hours of being in Brenda's company and I knew instantly that I had made the right decision to change my tour provider. Festo was an insightful, knowledgable and truly amazing guide. As a 21 year old girl climbing the mountain alone, i was very nervous and apprehensive about the trip but I felt at ease in his company and trusted him completely. He is an expert at what he does and his knowledge of the mountain is second to none. He always has a smile on his face & knows exactly how to cheer you up when motivation to keep climbing is waining! I managed to reach the top and had an incredible time along the way. I chose to do the Marangu route which has wooden huts instead of tented camps & I really recommend this route, especially if you are climbing alone. Whilst some say it is a touristy route, it was in no way overcrowded and I got the chance to meet people from all over the world and make lasting friendships. My team on the mountain were unbelievable! The food they provided was delicious, and believe me... food becomes extremely important as your energy levels deplete! An extra bonus was that every day i was woken by hot coffee which is not a service many others enjoyed. I felt so well looked after and I couldn't have done it without my team behind me. After my climb, i chose to do a 2 day safari in Taranguire staying in the Sangaiwe Tented Lodge. The lodge was simply beaaaautiful! I felt like i was in a 5 star hotel, everything was immaculate and the service exceptional. The resort is unspoilt and peaceful but well equipped with a stunning swimming pool to cool off in after a hot day on Safari. Kokassi, our guide, was much like Festo in that he was so knowledgable and insightful about the park and the animals which inhabit it. It's like he has a 6th sense for the animals, finding lions and cheetah in the depths of the park where nobody else was! I saw millions of elephants, zebra and giraffes - all in touching distance! The food on the trip was amazing and every lunch time they would lay out a table cloth and provide hot coffee, which is just a special touch that many companies do not provide. Tanzania Choice gave me a 5* experience and i would not even look at another company if i were to return to Tanzania. Brenda and Kokassi are lovely, genuine people and really became my family whilst i was out there. My initial experience of Tanzania was quickly changed after meeting this family. I miss them very much & would recommend them to anyone!

A wonderful adventure not to be missed.
5/5

We started our month long South Africa trip with a week spent in Zimbabwe and Botswana, which Chris from Safari Partners had arranged. We were treated to a wonderful tent camp with outstanding food and great staff. At the camp we were able to feed elephants, pet a Cheetah and walk with baby lion cubs along with a tour of Victoria Falls. The Elephant Camp was the first part of the week. We then flew in a small plane to & Beyond Xudum Okavango Delta Lodge in Botswana. Our safari vehicles met us to take us to our next adventure with stop along the way to view Elephants, Zebras, Giraffe and many more animals. The accommodation, food and staff were “& Beyond” our expectations. The guides were outstanding finding us Wild Dogs, Lions and Lionesses, a Leopard along with the Elephants, Zebras, Giraffes, Hippopotamuses and many more antelope. This spoiled us as we had high expectations for the rest of our trip. Thanks Chris for making it a week to remember.
