Incredible experience in Uganda
Gatatu Safaris organized a 7-day safari in Western and Southern Uganda, with visits of the Kibale and Queen Elizabeth National Parks, the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and the lake Bunyonyi. The tour was super well organized with a crescendo of experiences and wonders. First, a close contact with chimpanzees, then sightings of great mammals (elephants, lions, buffalos, hippos, water kobs, gazelles) and birds, and finally an encounter with mountain gorillas, the highlight of our tour. To relax a bit, we spent a day at lake Bunyonyi, visiting a local school and a pygmee village. Our guide Jasper was exceptional, knowing many people and always finding the right place to be. During the trip, he always had interesting insights into the places we were driving through and also gave us insights into Uganda life, politic and economy. The organization of all permits, hotels and other logistic was done masterfully and we, as tourists, never felt that things were improvised. Bravo to Richard of Gatatu and Jasper, our guide. We can only recommend Gatatu for anyone who wishes to visit Uganda and experience the wonders of this welcoming and safe country.

Great Safari Experience
Everything related to the Safari was great. The personel of Taste of Afrika came to the hotel the day before our departure to arrange all the last minute details and was puntual on the day of departure.
The safari was an amazing experience (Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro) and we managed to see all the big 5, and other beautiful animals as well.
Good food, excellent driver and good guide.
Overall great experience. Perhaps a bit more of communication prior to arrival in Tanzania would be good to know further details, but just a minor comment.

Uganda Trip 2017 arranged by Wild Jungle Trails
I had an outstanding tour of Uganda arranged by Wild Jungle Trails last month ( July 2017). It was a last minute booking and they really went the extra mile to arrange it for me. I contacted two other agencies beforehand and neither was very helpful. Teresa from the tour office went out of her way to allay any concerns I had. She also provided helpful explanations to my numerous questions and made suggestions where her level of expertise was a huge benefit to me. Since I did not have unlimited time (13 days in Uganda) and I wanted to do a lot of things, it was important to plan correctly and we as much as I could. I started off from the Protea Hotel on the shores of Lake Victoria and drove up to Murchison Falls National Park. On the way we stopped at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary ( it's not often you get to stand 60 feet from a mother Rhino and her baby or look over and see 4 rhinos lazing in the shade). Another few hours out us at Murchison Falls an amazing location with so many animals visible that it also still didn't seem real. ( multiple lions, antelopes, elephants, hippos, buffaloes galore. The Falls themselves were great too. From there I went down to the Kibale rainforest to hang out with the chimps ( amazing) and then a boat on the Kazinga Channel and then Ishasha in Queen Elizabeth National Park. ( yes I saw the famous tree climbing lions up close and personal and elephants right outside my tent at the great Ishasha Wilderness Lodge. From there we headed down to Mgazinga National Park and I spent two awesome days hanging out with the Batwas ( pygmies) and the mountain gorillas. Mount Gazings Lodge where I stayed was very nice and very conveneiently located to the trail head for the gorillas. ( unlike what I heard about Bwindi, it was an easy hike to find them). My driver/guide Twa ( Lukwago Twaha) was first class in every way. I spent the entire time with him as he drove me from park to park and acted as guide in many of the locations. He is very experienced and knows all the details about the parks, lodgings and the animals. He has a great sense of humor and we laughed many times over the 12 days I was with him. He really tries to make your experience enjoyable by taking you to the best places to spot wildlife. Because he has so much experience, he knows the other guides and he calls them when out on the game drives and they tell each other where animals are located, so you can drive right over and see them rather than randomly trying to find them. He even saved me from a huge rampaging baboon, haha. (While waiting for a boat trip on the Nile, I foolishly tried to show I thought how to drink from a coke bottle and it went after me. Twa ran at it to distract it so it chased him instead. He ran like lightening to escape its nasty claws. The other guides were there waiting too and they started laughing and yelling " Usain Bolt!" As he flew by with the baboon on his heels. I would give Wild Jungle Safaris a rating of 5 out of a highest possible score of 5 on every level. I did everything I wanted to on the trip and it was much better than I thought it would be. Book with them!

Go with Kenan and you won't regret.
My mother and I booked an 11-day Kenya safari with Kenan. We had a perfect experience from the planning stage to end of the trip. Geophrey helped us choose lodges/camps and give us suggestion on itinerary to meet our need. He was very helpful and patient. Jane and our driver/guide Paul welcomed us at the airport when we arrived. Then we began the trip. Our Safari was fabulous. Paul was an expert. He did his best to make sure we can see everything. And we really did. We saw the big five, many cheetahs, and other animals that I didn't expect to see, such as vulture and eagles. What is more, he knows photography. He could always find the best spot for us to take pictures. At the end of the trip, Geophrey also went to the airport to say goodbye to us. Again, we had a wonderful trip and we highly recommend Kenan to everyone who wants to do a safari in Kenya.
Review about Chobe National Park by Mark
Everything was perfect about this safari, except the season. We've been there at the end of still wet season, with too much water around and too tall grass to hide for wildlife. Did not spot big cats at all. However, a lot of hypos, zebras, giraffes, elephants, different kinds of antelopes, beautiful birds.
Amazing place to visit

BiBi is taking her family to Tanzania; everyone in our group, ages 9- 82 had a great time!
Communications were prompt and informative during the planning of our trip. I had been to TZ 8 times so knew what I wanted to experience with my family. Chabo was very helpful in working within my budget and planning an efficient daily schedule for us. Our driver/guides Ernest and Modest were engaging with all members of our group. They were prompt, our lodging was excellent, guides had a wealth of knowledge and were great at spotting game out on the vast Serengeti.
The final day of our trip, two of the grandchildren were ill with fever and aching, feeling lethargic. When asked about the possibility of Malaria, they agreed that the two should be tested. They found a place that did the testing with results in 20 min., one tested positive and they promptly found a pharmacy that provided the medication and Modest interpreted the instructions carefully for us. Even tho there were 2 nurses and a medical Dr. in the group, they were not familiar with tropical diseases so having their (Modest and Ernest) concern and expertise was important to us in finding a lab to do the testing and a pharmacy for the medication.

Almost all around perfect experience... look no further!
Shoveling over thousands of dollars to a company sight unseen on the other side of the ocean can be a bit unnerving, especially when dealing with complex bank transfers and numerous choices. My nerves were immediately calmed the minute our guide Laban warmly greeted us as he leapt out of a beautiful brand new Land Cruiser in the JRO parking lot. From that moment on, our journey proved to be nearly flawless.
When we were shopping for a company, we noted some of the far more expensive "luxury" companies with options at $10,000 USD + per person; however, after the perfection provided by Gosheni at a mid-range price, we couldn't imagine what extra you could get for $10k!
The lodging at the various Tanzanikya Wilderness Campy properties (Ngorongoro Farm House, Tloma Lodge, Maramboi Tented Camp), and Gosheni's own Serengeti Acacia camp were all top notch including comfy beds, great food and service, and beautiful locations.
Our guide, Laban, was extremely knowledgeable, personable, hospitable, and just a great all-around guy who we could call brother at the end of the journey.
Peter answered all of the many questions promptly as we navigated the various itinerary options and payment process.
In short, you can't go wrong with Gosheni!
