Fantastic!
We (family of 5 with kids aged 18, 15 and 7 years) did a 7 night safari with Swala Safaris in December 2017.
From my first contact with Rose, she was fast to reply and answered all my (many) questions. She made it easy to plan the safari, and gave suggestions for good camps within our budget.
We asked for Filex as our guide, but Rose told us, he already had another tour at the same time, so not possible. Then I asked for Steven, and luckily he was available - what a great guide!
Right from the pick up in the airport all the way to the goodbyes at the same place he was such a kind, knowledgable man. His driving skills were excellent, and he was able to spot animals, that we needed to look for both 3 and 4 times.
Best thing was his patience - he must have answered at least a million questions from the kids and us, yet he never seemed to get tired of explaining about animal behaviour or how you could tell male from female on everything from zebras to leopards. Steven also stopped the car, every time we wanted to take pictures of animals or landscape, so it felt like we had all the time in the world (and could take better pictures)
We wanted to get an early start every morning, and Steven would be there on time or before.
One thing that really amazed me, is when he found out we liked the feeling of having the whole park to ourselves, he decided to take less traveled routes, so we had almost all our sightings to ourselves even though it was the "busy" season, and even inside Ngorongoro crater he managed to keep us away from the crows. Some of our private sightings: leopards in trees, lion cubs playing, serval cat, cheetah with cub, giraffes, elephants, zebras, wildebeest, hippos - even the elusive black rhinos and many more. Everyone can drive to where other cars are parked to see stuff, but a real guide can find the sightings himself!
We had a special adapted Land Cruiser all to ourselves (private safari), it was well maintained and I noticed the tyres looked brand new. The cooling box worked very well (in fact sometime the water froze to ice), we were able to charge batteries for cameras (and other things if needed) in the car. Even though we're tall Danes, there was enough space for all of us in the car, and during game drives the roof could be lifted up, so we could chose to sit or stand for viewings and pictures.
On our last day we had an early dinner in Arusha, and Rose made sure there was a birthday cake for our oldest 18th birthday that day, a nice touch.
All in all we had an amazing time, and I have no hesitations recommending Swala Safaris to other travellers.

I always wanted to see and take photos of the wild animals
I always wanted to see and take photos of the wild animals I'd seen in guidebooks. So I decided to participate in a tour of Savannah Sound Safaris. Our guide Danson showed us valuable moments, such as lion hunting animals and battles of lions, hyenas and bald eagles. Yes, we were surely excited and fully satisfied to have such experience. Our guide is very good at Japanese speaking, as well as Chinese, English and of course his native Swahili and Kikuyu. So we had no problem understanding what we wanted to know about animals and birds. He taught us exactly what we asked. I feel very grateful we got chance to be on such wonderful safari tours everyday.

These guys are very responsive and care to give the best experience possible.
Our driver Solei was incredible. For the money, this was an exceptional experience. The facilities were great and their attention to detail exceeded expectation. This is a smaller outfit and really depend on giving good service to drive business.

It can not get better than this!
My husband and there adult sons just returned from a two week safari in South Africa, Zambia and Zimbabwe...all arranged by the African Safari Guru, Matthew Grace.
When we first started planning this trip the only thing we knew was we wanted to visit Kruger National Park and Victoria Falls. After searching and more researching, we got in touch with Matthew Grace to find out what he offered. What did he offer? Africa in two weeks. He advised us where to go to see the maximum number of animals, made arrangements for us at 6 different sites and even coordinated all activities which he personally could not engage in with us out of South Africa.
Our safari went off without a problem except for a quick return to a city for an unexpected doctor visit which Matthew drove us to! Every place we stayed was arranged with care by our African Safari Guru. We saw more animals than ever expected. We got up close with the lions seeing the mother bringing her cubs to the pride for the first time to watching them make their formation and eventual kill. We did not miss a thing.
If anyone wants a wonderful vacation, go on a safari. BUT, if you want the adventure of your life, get in touch with The African Safari Guru - Matthew Grace. Trust me, it can get no better than him..

Amazing trip of Serengati & Mnorongoro crater
It was one of he best safari i had in my life.It is amazing that you can watch wildlife live. Serengati and Mnorongoro National park is one of the spectacular attraction that you want to visit while in Tanzania. camp was beautiful and located right on a brand plain of the Northern Serengeti. The tents were beautiful and safe. The bathrooms offered a safari type offering with a hot water shower. Our driver was personable, knowledgeable and very responsive to all our needs. There was nothing within reason we could get. The food was out of this world and the lunches in the bush were amazing. This was a experience of a lifetime, Every one should enjoy it as its life time experience .

9 EXCITING days.
This was our first safari, therefore no comparison can be made with other organizations. From our point of view, the safari was "tailored" on our family ( parents and Luigi,a disabled son). After only few hours Luigi, Isaac and Frank (the Ecobushman team) became friends; and this was the best start for everybody.
9 days not only of safari, but also of learning about people (two days in a not-turistic Masai camp ) were worhtwhile the tour price. The info about Tanzanian animals and landscape given by Isaac were very clear. The relation between animals and environment discovered us an unknown universe. Five star are not enough for Ecobushman.
