I will return!
5/5

Quest Horizon was very easy to work with; Naiman was extremely accommodating in answering my never-ending questions. My guide Okul was very helpful and knowledgeable, going beyond his scope of duty to make me feel comfortable and welcome in Tanzania and to tell me more about the country's culture. We saw great sights (a lion hunt, the wildebeests crossing the Mara...etc) and also got a chance to visit the Maasai, watch soccer in a local pub and visit a local home, which was really interesting to see.

I got an experience of not just safari (which was more than amazing on its own already), but a country with its rich heritage, culture and practices. It was an excellent 9 days spent with Quest Horizon and I look forward to returning with them someday!

Our first safari in Africa
5/5

This was our first safari trip in Africa, my husband and I chose Tanzania and we booked through Mwema Africa Safaris agency. We wanted to see as much as possible, especially to have a good diversity of nature and animals so we chose 6 days tour, starting in Tarangire, then spent two nights in Serengeti, one in Ngorongoro crater, finishing in lake Manyara. My communication with Mr Mwema was perfect, I had millions of questions (as it was first trip of this kind and I was very much involved in every aspect of the planning). The tour was flexible and I could add or change things (such as flights, accomodations especially in Arusha - there was no problem at all). Our guide was Osman (collaborating agency from Arusha as Mwema is based in Nairobi), amazing guy and great character as well. We wanted to see the big 5, so he really did his best to look for the animals and we managed to see them. Accommodations were great everywhere, we especially liked tented lodge (with en suite bathroom) in a camp in Serengeti savanna! That was the highlight of our trip. Staff in the camp was extraordinary, food, environment, everything. The camp is situated in the middle of savanna and animals walk free around it - you can see and hear them. I recommend warmly Mr Mwema and his collaborators in Tanzania. We hope to come back for Kilimanjaro hike next year.

Highly recommended
5/5

I can wholeheartedly recommend Shemeji. We had a great experience with them from the first email contact, through to booking, arrival and the Safari itself. All very professionally handled. We loved the trip: 6 day Safari for me and my husband, shared with two other people in a car. Our driver and guide Freddy was friendly, professional and helpful at all times, and also a very good driver.

Great lodging! Clear, effective communication. Unsatisfactory guide service.
4/5

We were very pleased with the open, clear, effective and frequent communication from BigFoot Adventures Kenya prior to and during our trip. We were more than impressed by our lodging accommodations at Mara Bush Camp! We highly recommend Mara Bush Camp to any future travelers planning to visit the Maasai Mara, Kenya! It surpassed our expectations! We loved the food, the service, the friendly, always smiling staff, the warm gestures like turning down our beds at night, pulling down the mosquito netting, warm water bottles in our beds, coffee served in our tent, clean, cozy and beautifully decorated tents, the scenery in and surrounding the camp, and much more! Our safari tour met expectations, and we were able to see all of the animals on our list! However, we were disappointed by our Guide's behavior at times -- he was frequently on his phone, making him distracted from us and our trip wishes. He was not good about communicating plans for our daily game drives, and he seemed disinterested by our private safari tour together. Overall, we give BigFoot Adventures Kenya a 4-star (Good) rating, but we would rate our lodging a 5-star (excellent) and our guide a 2-3-star (poor-average) rating.

Great experience
4/5

We had a great experience with Bienvenido. We hired a private safari to visit Amboselli, Lake Nakuru and Masaai Mara. The van was in good conditions and our guide, David, was really helpful. He was willing to answer all our questions and search for the best places to see the wildlife.
We highly recommend this company :)

Amazing Safari experience with incredibly knowledgeable guides-Once in a Lifetime trip made perfect!
5/5

This custom Safari was wonderful and far exceeded my expectations! We saw all the animals we could hope for and more and so close, our guides were especially good at knowing where the animals were and answering all our questions. Their humor was also very welcome. The places we stayed were incredible, I envisioned “roughing it” but every place was lovely and had basic amenities. Even the tented camp was very luxurious with hot showers and free laundry! The jeeps for the FOAA (Face of Africa Adventures) Safari were all in good condition (I was in a large group and we rotated every day). Huge windows and roofs that open to be able to stand up and enjoy seeing the animals up close and felt very safe. The guides knew English very well. FOAA even helped with questions and concerns before and after the Safari. After spending a week exploring the northern Tanzania safari circuit I would highly recommend FOAA to friends, family and anyone interested in a great Safari experience for a great price!

Once in a lifetime trip!!
5/5

We worked with Alym from East Africa Wild Adventures. Communication was amazing from the start. Alym worked with us and changed the itinerary based on our preferences. He was a pleasure to work with and had amazing ideas for us. On the trip, all our transfers were on time and each driver was nicer than the last! We enjoyed every second of this trip and it was planned wonderfully. The hotels were all excellent, flights were smooth and on time, safari was exciting and views were breathtaking. I would recommend East Africa Wild Adventures to anyone thinking about a safari!!

Not 1st time in Kenya. The tour guide, his equipment, and knowledge provided exhilarating travel.mdd
5/5

This was not the first time I went on safari in Kenya, but it was my first time with this company. They are fabulous. You will never forget your trip. I was glad to have a tour guide who loves what he does, the actual owner of his business. He knew where to find different animals in the park, and had an impressive advanced knowledge of the ins and outs of the park. In Nairobi National park, we found a black rhino whose picture I really wanted to take, but I had not mastered my new cannon 70D. No problem. Mr. Karanja s a fabulous photographer. He set the camera, and I came away with wonderful shots. So there was that extra advantage of having tech support when I needed it. You need a guide who stops when you want to stop, and Mr. KAranja was always willing to stop when, if, and as long as we wanted. I had not booked him for my trip to Nakuru national Park, but he gave us invaluable advice about it. He was very friendly and his van was super comfortable, and I definitely loved the way he got along with my teenage daughter who was traveling with me. I will travel to Kenya in the next two years, and I will not spend a moment looking for anyone else. I have used other companies before, but not any more. If you are planning to visit Kenya, look no further. If you are in a group or a family, you will be in good hands.
