Excellent coomunication and experience
5/5

Once we reached Tanzania, all our request were fullfilled and well organized. Eveline was really cooparative and helpfull. One of the most important thing was our great guide Mr. George Mollel, who was really an experienced and knowledgeable persone, we strongly recomend the company and George for those who are looking for informative trip. My next trip will be with this comapny and with Goerge who is enjoying his work, I can see from his passion that the wild life is in his blood.

Wonderful 4 days in Keya with Magical Retreats and Adventures Tours !
5/5

We (me and three of my friends) toured Kenya with Magical Retreats and Adventures in August 2016. Ours was a super packed schedule made possible in part by Pamela’s (Tour Consultant) intricate understanding of regional logistics and our navigator Livingstone’s on the road skills. We started from Kampala and crossed through the Malaba border to Kenya for 4 days of back to back safari starting from the beautiful Lake Nakuru National Park. On the second day we drove to the famed Maasai Mara National Reserve passing through the beautiful countryside. The next two days were immensely entertaining with whole day and early morning game drives, thanks to Livingstone’s detailed knowledge of the region as well as animal behaviour. The last day of our trip was spent driving through the picture perfect Hell’s Gate National Park and exploring the Ol Njorowa Gorge there and then driving through the scenic Great Rift Valley to reach Nairobi Airport. We had an amazing time in these 4 days thanks to Pamela and Livingstone’s efforts and cheerful hospitality. I would love to go back and explore more of Kenya with them!

Super Support
5/5

I googled to design my 2-weeks Namibia trip and came across Cardboard Box (among some other local and German agencies). Cardbox came back most solid with best advise and the perfect support against my specs and budget. My itinery foresaw stays in Etosha but Etosha was fully booked. CArdboard Box had capacity still and given their service responsiveness and price competitiveness I booked my entire trip via them. Also during the travels I had to change a location and their rep helped me tremendously to rebook while we were travelling. Excellent handling of our trip !

Masai Mara jungle safari
5/5

We embarked on the journey of much acclaimed Masai Mara National Reserve from Uganda. On our request Magical Retreats & Adventures Tours arranged for a road trip from Kampala to Lake Nakuru and then to Masai Mara National Reserve. After a fantastic road trip which truly tell you about the country sides and the people we reached Nakuru city for the stay. The stay was comfortable and the next day we were ready for the game drive around the lake Nakuru after a good nights sleep. Within a couple of hours of game drive around lake Nakuru we had chance to gaze upon Antelopes, Baboons, Zebras, wild buffaloes, rhino, ostrich, hynas and lots of flamingos. With the feeling of amazement we started our journey from Nakuru to Masai Mara. With the wonderful sights of county side of Kenya, we reached Masai Mara in the evening to our camp site 'Mara Sidai'. Leaving our luggage to the camping tents, we rushed for the visit to village of Masai tribe. It was wonderful to to receive a heart worming welcome from the Masai people. It was nice to learn how to make a fire from the a stick of wood and to have a look into the warm Masai home. After a good rest we started for the game drive to Masai Mara Reserve and what an amazing day it was! We saw a variety of animals except the elusive leopard which we missed a couple of times, though we had a chance to see it's kill on tree. After a long game drive and chasing animals for a whole day we returned to our camp. Nice dinner was an icing and with wonderful starlight we went to sleep in our camping tent. Next day we started at 6.30 am for our game drive to catch the carnivorous animals and it was an amazing sight to see a lioness with her cubs moving to find a peaceful place to spent the day after nightlong vigil. It was amazing to see the animals as the sun just started to shine on the horizon. We bade good buy to Masai Mara and left for Lake Naivasha. It is a Hell's gate national park and it truly is for it's geothermal vents. It was a fantastic site to visit lake Naivasha and Hell's gate gorge. After a quick visit we left for the airport to return back home.

The whole experience was awesome and a little did we knew that we were taking wonderful memories of Africa until we reached our homes. I thank Magical retreats and adventure tours for a wonderful experience right from the stay, game drives to the food. It was just fantastic. It would be really nice to visit again to Kenya for it's amazing beauty of nature and wild animals. We thank Pamela for her advice and all the arrangements for the trip. Last but not the least, we thank Mr. Livingstone for an amazing road trip and game drives. He made sure that we have a chance to see as many as possible animals and above all to make our journey more comfortable. Truly an amazing experience!

Hide a lot of informations
2/5

The only concern I have with this company in Uganda, that they don't explain to you everything, for example no one told us there is direct flights to our destination, in addittion when you request to visit a place they don't give you a recommandation that it does not worth a two night stay. We were obliged to change the program when we arrived because of the lack in information and experience, it seems they are experienced in Uganda not in other countries. Thanks good we were not in a family

An Outstanding Once in a Lifetime Experience
5/5

I am very pleased with the 3 nights safari I did with this company. We spent two nights in the Serengeti at a campsite and one night at the Ngorongoro Crater campsite. The weather was good and by lunch of the first day we had already seen the big 4 that one can see in Serengeti. We managed to see lions multiple times and the others at least twice up close. Our guide was the best as well as our cook. We really got along well and I was inspired by how they served us. Our guide was so so knowledgeable and took the time to answer all our questions in sufficient detail. He is also a great driver who got us from place to place safely and used his communication equipment effectively to link with other drivers so we could get to certain spots to see different animals - simply fabulous. Our cook outdid himself - even in the bush and made some pretty tasty meals that stood out more than many others I had had while travelling in the region. It was really great. Our group had good chemistry and we got along well as old friends would have.

Richard, the owner was very professional and friendly. I like how smoothly everything flowed and was so happy to be picked up at the bus stop after hrs getting to Arusha from Dar Es Salaam and getting settled in the hotel provided with a nice meal prepared to order for a good price. I also love the fact that I was taken around to get a bus ticket to Nairobi after the safari and shuttled to the bus pick up point the following day. I experienced outstanding customer service and would do another safari with these guys for sure. They did an outstanding job and everything just worked together well to make it an all round great experience. I did a group safari with people I had never met but awesome for me that we all got on well.

Beyond my expectations!
5/5

I recently returned from a trip to southern Africa. I went with my 12 year old son. At first I was very nervous considering I was traveling alone with my son. Darren put my thoughts at ease and answered all of my questions patiently. The trip was amazing, we felt very safe and comfortable. Everything was perfectly organized and went very smoothly. Darren was very nice to my son and patiently explained some of the South African history and the places we visited while we were in Cape Town.
I highly recommend this company, this was a trip we surely never will forget.

Helpful, friendly staff, but check the details
5/5

Chose these guys from many as they were very accommodating during planning stage, although we were disappointed in the alternative Masai Mara accommodation chosen once our choices were unavailable. Joseph and Ronnie are both knowledgeable and diligent guides: we were pleased they drove carefully and well, spotted animals at great distances, and were regularly sharing information with, and helping, other guides. Communication on key points like where our flight would leave from and the need to pay baggage fees for all bags was poor or even misleading, but asking for copies of the plane tickets would have let us check ourselves. Felt like everything was under control and we were supported throughout. Recommended.
