Review about South Africa by Yamada Clan
Safari in South Africa is overall nice but not as impressive and authentic as in Namibia, Botswana and Mozambique. But a very nice start for traveling to Africa. The sceniry is overwhelming and every half hour drive you will get the feeling of being in a different world as the hour before.

Satisfying
Nice park, but can be very crowded in the south part. If you want more tranquility go half way or up north. Because of the asfalt roads you might have some trouble getting the real bush feeling, even if you do the gravel roads. Even these are easy traveling with any car. But overall still a must visit when you are in Africa. Don't bother doing the safari tours, you can do it all by your self in your own car. Spend your money on safaris in private game reserves.

Review about Marakele National Park by Yamada Clan
Lots of animals for such a small park. It can't beat the Kruger but as it is small and very quiet, the experience is better. And scenery is awesome too.

No important wild life present and scenic not that interesting after you've done Royal Natal national park. But when passing thru worth a short 1 day stay and do some short hikes.

Review about Timbavati Nature Reserve by Yamada Clan
I would recommend everyone to start your visit with a trip of a few days to a private gamepark. It is more expensive then Kruger, but the bush feeling is much higher as there are very few other tourists, no asfalt roads and lots of game to spot.

Big Five in one day
This was an amazing experience. Large enough to feel like you are really out exploring. Something to see around every corner. From small birds to elephants, the closer the look the more you learn. A real opportunity to get very, very close to nature. Our guide was able to find "the big five" all in one outing. But there is so much more to this reserve than the big five. I will remember the sights and sounds for a long time. While it is clear that you are in a reserve, you still get a sense for the "wilds of Africa".
