An amazing experience
5/5

I contacted them from Italy by email and Chris answer readly to all my questions, when I arrived in Kampala they picked up us to explain everything in their Office in Entebbe, and they made us the best price and the best tour we could find out. We decided for 3 days gorilla trakking.
Out driver Paul was really on time, the accomodation was good on bunyonyi's lake, also the boat trip, but the gorilla trakking was an amazing experience. I surely advice to go with encounter Africa safari.

A wonderful heartwarming experience that can not be put into words.
5/5

We had a wonderful time in Kenya and our drivers were with us the whole time. They took great care of us and we couldn't have done it without them!!! They did a great job getting us to places we never would have found. They were polite and kind and answered all of our questions. The safari itself was awesome! I would highly recommend this group to anyone traveling to Kenya.

a travel agent who listens
5/5

I chose to book with Serah because she came recommended by a friend. I had never met Serah previously and all communication was done via email from my home-town Perth, Australia. It was to be a get-together of 4 old school mates and three of the spouses; One couple from the US, one from Malawi and two from Australia. Serah is the first travel agent I have come across - and we travel a lot - who actually listens to your needs AND attends to the requests. She was always mindful of replying in a timely manner to all emails. As the group co-ordinator of this particular trip my fellow travellers said it was the best safari they had been on. And these are all ex- Kenyans!
Without Serah's able organisation I am sure we would not have had such a delightful and memorable trip to Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro and Serengeti National Parks. I cannot recommend Seraj highly enough.

Amazing Safari experience with Absolute Holiday Safari team
5/5

We had a memorable vacation with Absolute Holiday Safari team in Kenya. we (me with my wife and 3 yrs old son) chose for a week long safari trip. Pre-travel communication and arrangements by David was excellent. he is a real professional. he accommodated all our requests and provided necessary information/ suggestions as we were travelling with a child. Airport pick ups & drop, hotel transfer etc were on time. Our driver/ Guide, Patrick was the best guide one can ever get on a safari trip. he is very knowledgeable & ensured we saw all animals in our wish list so close and on action. He took a good care of us throughout the trip. we spent two days each in Masai Mara and Amboseli and one day each in Lake Nakuru & Nairobi. we could see all big five and many more than we expected. his experience and patience helped us to have a close encounter with cheetah and witness a live hunting chase, was so close to a group lions with 3 cubs, group of elephants with 3-4 baby elephants, leopard with its kill(baby zebra) on top of a tree, both black & white rhinos, Hyena, giraffe family, etc and most importantly the great migration - thousands of wild beasts & Zebras.
we are happy that we chose Absolute holiday safari and recommend them for any your Kenyan Safari.

Incredible experience
5/5

We had such a wonderful time. We went on our honeymoon with a private driver/guide (Mike) through Uganda for a week and then chilled in Zanzibar for another 4 days. Everything was perfectly organised and the lodges (luxury version) were the nicest places we ever stayed in. Our guide took very good care of us and shortly briefed us at the end of every day so we knew what to wear and what to expect the next day.

This has been our best vacation in our lives as of yet. Uganda is very special due to the close proximity of different types of landscapes. We saw everything from chimps to elephants, zebra's, warthogs, gorilla's, crocodiles, hundreds of different types of incredible birds, many different species of Antelope, and on our last day on Zanzibar even humpback whales which was breathtaking. When in Zanzibar we recommend to also take an Island tour with one of the local people as you see and can do more and it is not as pricey to do with the lodge.

In Queen Elizabeth Natural Park we were not lucky enough to see any Lions or Leopards however we were only there for a 1,5 day and that gives us a good reason to go back.

All in all we highly recommend going on a tour with Matoke

Mobile Camping and Lodge Safari in Botswana
5/5

We used Safari Lifestyles for a safari to Botswana for 6 people about 12 months ago… we combined a privately guided mobile tented trip with a lodge extension to Kwando Lebala and Jacana Camp for 5 nights.

With all the questions we asked I think Roger picked it up personally and dealt with the itinerary himself. What made us choose this company was his knowledge of the country and his attention to detail. Our mobile was well staffed and took us through Moremi, Savuti and Chobe with amazing sightings!!!, then on to Kasane for a night at a lodge in the town, we then had charter flights to the Safari Camps which he chose for us.

There were no real negatives other than a hyena stealing a friends knapsack on the tented section, never to be seen again. Initially we were hesitant to go to a water camp like Jacana as our interests lay in wildlife photography and we were concerned about the lack of game there. However it proved to be a real highlight as it was one of most relaxing of places to end a trip. Kwando Lebala was fantastic and we had unbelievable sightings, it was as exciting as it was described to us.

Its really difficult to say which part was best, the mobile camping section was closer to nature and we had our own group, but we did love the accommodation of a big tent and huge beds in the lodges and these private concessions were magic.

I would have no problem in using Roger and Safari Lifestyles for another trip.

Abakombe Tours is Incredible!
5/5

Abakombe tours organized a perfect trip to Kilimanjaro and Ngorongoro Crater for me and a group of friends. We were a little skeptical before we arrived because Abakombe charges so much less than other companies we checked out. Alphone, Martin, and the team delivered in every way. The most impressive thing was how close the mountain team is--porters always happy, speak good English, Martin the guide is a natural born leader. His porters look up and respect him, just as he looks after and respects them. Really great cohesive team, which means that are group formed into a strong team as well. Made going up and down the mountain that much more enjoyable. We kept switching up the itinerary all the way up to a few days before we arrived, in all instances Abakombe was flexible and focused on delivering the best trip for us, even if it meant making a little less money for them and extra work making the last minute adjustments. Seriously, go with Abakombe. You will have a great experience.

Best selection of hotels and places
5/5

We opted for 6 nights 7 days safari luxury tour. Excellent selection of hotels given by the Company. The driver - Mr. Benson was courteous, helpful and most importantly showed his willingness to guide us - and not just a duty. We are pure vegetarians and had no problems with food. In fact, the food was much tastier that what we expected. Throughout support and guidance provided from Campofrio team.
The only regret we had was that we were promised for a new van, but were provided with an old one. The roads of Masai Mara are v.v.bumpy. It was a nightmare for us, since we are not used to such roads at all!! Suggestion : Either opt for flights or else make sure you get a new van / car to at least Masai Mara.
