Just amazing 4 day safari experience!!!
Incredible experience! Very professional services, went out of their way to make arriving and departing as easy as possible and that we were getting what we wanted from the experience. Mandela was an amazing guide and very knowledgable about all sorts of animals. Our chef Acton made the most delicious food, there wasn't a moment on the trip we felt at all hungry. We chose the lodge/safari tent option and the accommodation was simply a delight, the staff offering to move our table outside so we could have breakfast while watching the sunrise over the Serengeti is an experience I will never forget. Overall an unmissable experience when travelling to Tanzania and I would recommend this company to ensure you have the best experience.

amazing tour to the top of Kilimanjaro
It Started in Africa offered me an unforgettable wonderful hike to the top of Kilimanjaro. I did the 4-days Marangu route in February 2022. The company prepared and organized the trip well. They were uncomplicated, gave me all necessary informations and offered the tour for good value (what i'm sure about after talking with other tourists during the hike who booked with different companies). For preparation the guide helped me to choose the right warm clothes. During the trip the team served me nice food. The guide was experienced and I enjoyed the good company of the friendly and helpful cook and porters. They also supported and motivated me much, so that i could make the last difficult hundred meters to the top. And that was an incredible amazing experience!! Unique wonderful nature with a stunning view. Thank you It started in Africa for the trip, I would definitively book with you again.

Our Guide Eric made our Tour Amazing
We did the Masai Mara & lake Nakuru tour, it was very nice. Our Guide manage to show us many animals in the parks and explain many things about them.
Food was good
The only negative points are the hotels witch are really budget ones, and not the one wrote on the tour explanation

Amazing tour with lemosho route
Had an amazing experience climbing Kilimanjaro via the 8 day Lemosho route with Almighty Kilimanjaro. Our guide Jackson and the rest of the team were truly amazing and if it wasn't for their guidance, experience and care I don't think we would have all summited together. I felt completely safe in the knowledge that we were being looked after by such an experienced and knowledgeable guide. The food was also exceptional. If you're thinking of climbing Kilimanjaro I recommend Almighty Kilimanjaro and the 8 day Lemosho route.

Our trip was fantastic and it felt like it was so well deserved
Fantastic as usual We had such wonderful safari experience with our three young children (12,7,4). The 8 day itinerary was ideal, and we were thrilled to spend three days in the Serengeti (our favourite of the 4 parks). We didn't feel rushed or pressured to see the animals.
Our driver was excellent. He drove safely, was knowledgeable, and was enthusiastic about his job. He was patient and wonderful with the children. Also, the vehicle was in excellent condition (better than almost all others we saw), which contributed to its comfort.
The lodges were fantastic, extremely comfortable without being overly luxurious.
We have complete faith in Meijo Safaris, and we can't think of anything to improve on what you already do so well!
