Great experience all round
5/5

We have recently returned from a 2 week trip through Kenya and Tanzania organised through Etrip. We had an amazing time, and would highly recommend this company. Our trip was arranged at reasonably short notice for this kind of trip (2 months prior to leaving) and Aurelie and Ben were very flexible in sorting out an itinerary that ticked all the boxes for us. They were professional and transparent through the whole process, providing an exact breakdown of all our costs and also patient when we had issues transferring payment. We had a bit of a hiccup when the Tanzanian government changed its VAT exemption rules which meant even though we had paid for our trip in full, we we liable to further costs - a difficult situation for the tour operators that was again dealt with professionally and transparently, meaning we incurred slightly higher fees but also that the rest were absorbed in good faith by Etrip.

We had 2 guides (one in each country) that were both knowledgeable and friendly, and we had a great time learning about their countries with them. Ben also made an effort to meet up with us in Arusha towards the end of our trip to make sure everything had gone well.

Overall, a great experience from start to finish. Highly recommended.

Awesome Africa experience with Etrip
5/5

From start to finish etrip was great. We were able to give our budget, the things we wanted to see, and the timeframe, and they were able to sort out a great itinerary for us. Drivers were knowledgeable friendly and funny, the vehicles were great, lots of room, the accommodation was exactly what we wanted, and we saw every animal! I've already recommended them to my parents who are going over next year.

Abundance of wildlife and good location
Overall rating
5/5

With a good motorway from Durban, we found the Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Game Reserve to be a good safari destination with hills and valleys making for some variety in the scenery. We saw an abundance of wildlife. Our highlight was seeing and photographing lions in close proximity on both days we were there. We also saw elephant, white rhino, zebra, blue wildebeest, buffalo, warthog, nyala, kudu, impala and a variety of birds. The facilities were good and the staff friendly. Generally, it was an all-round pleasant experience. We also found the location handy, as it’s a relatively short drive to Lake St Lucia for coastal wildlife.

Review about Kruger National Park by tapaculo99

Kruger lived up to the hype for wildlife and birding... In three days we saw an exceptional amount of game and birds. Highlights were Hyenas right outside the fence at Balule Camp (high score for bush vibe), Southern Ground-Hornbills, and a leopard right by the roadside near Satara.

Wildlife - we had neat views of Rhino as well as lots of Nyala and buffalo.
This park has gorgeous scenery, especially close to the hilltop camp (we were only in Hluhluwe). Amazing long views over the park gave the illusion of being in an alpine zone.
Bush vibe was not really evident - a major road cuts through this park. The main park road is paved and the hilltop camp is fairly fancy.
Birding - quite good here. Highlights included Woolly-necked Storks and an African Harrier-Hawk.

The scenery here was stunning - amazing geology and hiking.
Wildlife was not terribly plentiful, but we did see a few wildebeest, jackal, and zebra.
Bush vibe - not such a nice park in this regard, since a major road passes through the park.
Birding was nice but not particularly exceptional.

Very nice, but unfortunate timing due to construction

We stayed at uMkhuze for two nights in the end of July 2016. We stayed at Mantuma Camp, which was very nice; the rooms were clean and comfortable. We had a small difficultly with the hot water but the staff were very helpful.
In the morning we drove out to KuMasinga hide, and spent a lot of time at the waterhole there. Wildlife was plentiful - lots of Nyala, Wildebeest, and a single White Rhino. We also saw lots of neat birds in the sand forest, including some of the specialties of the area. We also visited the KuMahlahla hide, which had some more birds and baboons.
Unfortunately, at the time we were there most of the roads in the park were closed for maintenance, so we could only visit a small part of the reserve. This was disappointing, since it meant we couldn't see some of the birds we'd hoped for... however, it probably won't be an issue for much longer.

Beautiful scenery park with easy to find wildlife
Overall rating
4/5

Augrabies Falls National Park is a beautiful smaller park with fantastic scenery around the falls and the gorge. There is a lot of wildlife which is pretty easy to find and can be seen and photographed at close distance. Game such as giraffe, zebra, springbok, kudu, oryx, baboon, monkey can be found.
The accommodation in the park is good with comfortable cabins and a nice restaurant and shop. The weather in the winter time is good with nice temperatures without extreme heat. In the winter time not a lot of tourists are in the park creating some additional bush vibe
The night game drive is fun with some challenge to find animals, but is rewarding if nocturnal animals turn up under an amazing starry sky.

My Favorite place in Botswana.

The sunset cruise is a must.
Chobe National Park is an open window to the Pleistocene Period.
The concentration of megafauna is beyond imagination.
Here you will find some of the largest elephant and buffalo herds in the entire African Continent.
Not to mention real close encounters with Lions, hippo's, crocodiles and monitor lizards.
The rare Puku and the Red Lechwe are also very common.
Bird life is also abundant.

These are some of the pictures that I got in a couple of days.
