An amazing experience from start to finish with our guide Hilary
5/5

We could not have asked for a better and more knowledgeable guide than Hilary. He scouted out hard to find animals and really knew what he was doing. He is also a very delightful young man with a great sense of humor! I highly recommend going on safari with Hilary!

6 star if possible!
5/5

Axis and particularly Lennox and James were amazing from the start. Lennox was very forthcoming with any information requested and kept us up to date with all the necessary information required for the tour. James, our driver of the safari, was absolutely incredible from start to finish, going the extra mile to make our experience the best we could have in our short trip. In the four days through James' expertise we were able to see the big five as well as, some unforgettable moments such as; cheetahs taking down their prey, lions feeding their young and finding an elusive white rhino.

Accommodation was of a high standard, we didn't expect five star luxury, but this is a safari anyway. We stayed in tents with beds and private bathrooms (with hot water) which is more than we expected. On our last night we stayed in a hotel with a swimming pool. Food was of a good standards. I hope you like lentils and meat!

Overall, we were very happy with the tour and couldn't recommend Axis enough. Lennox went above and beyond to help us book our train tickets to Mombasa as we were on tour and ensured we got back to our hotel safely.

In summary, Axis Safari made our safari experience special and we couldn't recommend them enough. It was worth every penny!

Taste of Zanzibar
5/5

We booked a short Zanzibar tour as an add-on to a safari trip. Zanzibar was our flight/jet lag recovery spot. Simon was very responsive to our wishes, got us a snorkel trip to Mnemba island and a short stay at Kendwa. Took care of every detail of our transfers and two short (too short!) tours of Stonetown and a Bububu spice farm. Simon also booked our flight from Zanzibar to the start of our Serengeti safari in Arusha. We left wishing we'd had more than a taste of Zanzibar, but we had went very well. We were also able to arrange to pay in advance - this was a very useful convenience to us for this part of our trip.

Magic Serengeti
4/5

We spend 5 days around Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro.
Mack was funny, polite and very generous with us.
Thomas, our driver, was simply the best: great knowledge of area and animals, funny, always quit and very polite. He delivered every requests from us. He let us see a Leopard as close as possible!
When we turn back to Serengeti we'll ask for Thomas again!

Marvellous days in Kruger!
5/5

Some fantastic days in South Africa this summer!Spent one week in Kruger, visiting camps I did not find time to visit last time I was in this wonderful park, and also a re-visit to some camps from which I have very good memories. All the time under the fantastic guidance of Ryan, and enjoying the company of his whole family and Wild Planet Safari customers from the USA. I loved the delicious food, and appreciated all the personal service. And I also was very happy with the closed vehicle on the cold winter mornings. Already looking forward to my next visit. It wo'nt be long!

awesome safari experience
5/5

my safari trip with my three daughters was the trip of a life time! We went on the recommendation of a co worker because choosing a company from the many available was overwhelming and frankly scary. She did not steer us wrong. Good Earth was helpful from day one, accomodating our scheduling requests and answering all my questions. Our driver- Moses- was amazing. His English was outstanding and he was knowlegeable about all the wild life, plants and birds in the various areas. He accomodated our requests and catered to our needs. The accomodations were nothing short of amazing and staff everywhere were wonderful. we were able to see animals that we never expected- and experienced the great migration first hand, many lions and their cubs and a high point of my trip- a lion taking down an animal. I have already recommended Good Earth to several of my friends and i fully plan to return to Africa during a different season, using Good Earth.

An Once In A Lifetime Experience
5/5

The accommodations were great and the location was beautiful. The
staff was very friendly and helpful. The gorilla trek was an amazing
experience and one I would recommend to anyone traveling to Uganda. I am so glad I made the decision to do this tour, because
this is definitely an once in a lifetime experience that I will always remember.

Good experience - recommend.
5/5

I was a little concerned to make a 15% deposit to someone I'd never met but it all worked out fine. This is the best value safari I could find and the fact that it included the nights before and after the safari in Arusha is a massive plus. I was with two couples who booked through other providers and paid different (larger) amounts of money. It's like the provider you book with doesn't matter too much as you often seem to end up in mixed groups of different tour operators.

Anyway the trip: august is a little cloudy so hear that in mind, and it's quite cold at higher altitudes. But it's still an incredible experience. I went to Ngorogoro, Serengeti and Manyara. Lake Manyara is pretty over crowded so I would say prioritise spending more time in the other parks. Cook really good (how he made such good food on one gas stove i'll never know) and guide very knowledgeable, with the right answer to every animal question. Organisation was slightly disorganised in the sense that noone knew if we had sleeping bags etc but it all worked out in the end. Very grateful to Geofrey and the others for an excellent trip.

Advice: the roads are atrocious in the Serengeti (just fyi, expect a spinal massage). Pack really warm stuff for Ngorogoro. 5 nights is about right given the amount of time to drive to Serengeti from Arusha. Any less and you would risk not seeing everything, and more and you might be safari'd out. It's difficult to see rhino at the moment (heard different explanations e.g. illness, dry season).

Very experienced drivers who knew the game drive from the back of their hands.
5/5

Noah Kuti did a great job by organizing the safari for a huge group.
Payments could have been smoother but managed very well in the end.
Kudos to drivers Leonardo,Jeffrey and the others..they are very friendly, knowledgeable
and were always willing to help.landcruisers were in super condition and made our bumpy ride comfortable.
Managed to catch up with the big 5 and a whole lot of wildlife in abundance, which only Kenya can promise.
Sopa lodges at amboseli,Nakuru,Mara and Naivasha were fantastic and exceeded expectations .
