Nairobi's Backyard Wildlife Park
Overall rating
5/5

Having been to most of Kenya's more well known wildlife parks Nairobi NP equally compares to Kenya's top parks for wildlife viewing and photography. I have been to Nairobi NP a few times. In my experience, especially If your staying in or near the city center, arrive at 6am when the park opens to avoid Nairobi's traffic, to be amongst fewer park visitors, to see active and possibly more wildlife, and to use the morning sunlight for optimal photography. What makes this park unique is that you can be driving along in full view of Nairobi's cityscape in the background and in the next minute the cityscape disappears and you feel like you're in the wilderness or bush, miles from any city. The park has a diverse range of habitat also, from dry scrub savannah to lush riparian areas with giant acacias hovering over a perennial river to scenic gorges and rocky outcrops. Besides the park, other must see destinations that are super close to the park's main entrance are the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust and Giraffe Manor—all three can be visited in one day.

Perfect Uganda experience, couldn't wish for better!
5/5

In may 2015 we (mother and daughter) travelled together for 12 days through Uganda in a tour organized by Matoke tours. Our driver/guide picked us up at the airport and guided us through all national parks and destinations that 12 days. Perfect organization of the trip, very professional and helpful, very well equipped (jeep), always in time and our guide (Caleb, fluently English) was able to make any adaptations to the program when needed. Matoke Tours is able to set up a personal travel program, which was adjusted to our own preferences of travelling. Previously to our trip, our contact with Matoke Tours was easy and questions were answered in a few hours by email. Matoke Tours seems to know the accommodations in Uganda very well and knows the differences between and in the accommodations.

Good planification, goog relation quality-price
5/5

Everything was good, not also in the safary, during the preparation of the trip Benson was very helpful. When you prepare the trip in the distance it is good to have a trusty person who ask your enquires.

In the Safary everithing was good ,our guide Maxi very professional, friendly and polite. Our cooker Charles was great with a balance diet during the safary, and concious about the spices affect foreign people. We were in a five days budget camping safary, the camping in Manyara the toilets were dirty , in the next I would change this campsite.

safari to maasai mara
5/5

I was very pleased with the overall service provided by Mr. patrick and his staff. The pickup from the hotel and transfer to the airport were perfectly on time, quality of food was excellent (they even managed to offer vegetarian meals throughout the trip on my request!) and the game drives themselves, although short due to the limited amount of time, were excellent - james, the driver, was extremely knowledgeable and knew a lot about local animals and best spots to find lions, cheetahs etc. The stay at the tented camp was also basic but very good and comfortable. On top of all this, the price is extremely competitive, as I was asked, for the same kind of trip, three times as much by several other operators.

In brief, I would definitely recommend you to book your next safari trip with KWSS !

The best trip to Massai Mara Ever,
5/5

When I was thinking of going to Massai Mara last May during my break I took almost two weeks to look for the perfect tour operator to give me the package of my desire, I went through many connections but at the last minute, I decided to go for Burn Adventures and to my expectation I was never disappointed. In fact it was the best trip I only wished it was a bit longer. I must say that the people work for Burn Adventures are very professional, respectful and totally amazing, they planned my trip in less than one hour, I must admit I was thinking that it will never work and it might turn out to be disastrous. But It was more than I want I dreamed about. From the punctuality, to the professional driving through the rift valley, to the lodge arrangement it was perfect. The most awesome part of the trip was our tour guide (John Massai), I think without him, we couldn’t have seen the PIG FIVE in such short time. So, Burn Adventures will always be my choice, I just wish they can extend their service to other part of world so I will be planning my trips with them.

Safari Ngorongoro/Serengeti: once in a lifetime experience!! Will never forget!
5/5

We booked 6 days safari first Ngorongoro then Serengeti. First time in Africa, for us a big adventure. Excellent organisation, good accommodation, lodges were luxury but tented camp Robanda was the biggest adventure, in the middle of Serengeti, camp fire, everywhere good dinners even there. Our driver Roger was the best, he spoke very good English, was a good guide and spotter. Visited also Masai camp, also a big experience for us. We met the owners of African Heart in Arusha. A friendly couple, good reception, they gave us a lot of information, even help if needed. We still stay in touch. Thanks!

Great Cultural Adventure.
5/5

To me, traveling is all about experiencing something new. I opted for something like a cultural center-a place where I culture meet. I enjoyed the stay at the cultural center because I had new experiences. That wasn’t the only thing that loved about the journey. The mountain gorillas for me where breath-taking. Really, this was an amazing journey. My friends, gorilla tour booking, thank you so much for all your care. I deeply enjoyed it.

Sweetest dish on wildlife adventure
5/5

What would you do if you go to a certain country, and they serve you some dish you have never tested before? Would you reject it or try it? I was faced with the same challenge. My friendly guide Mr. henry bought some for me, and he said it was the most delicious thing he ever tested. Guess, what is was locusts .At first I said no please thank you, but he insisted and told me about the history of the Ugandan locusts. With a little confidence, I tried them out; and immediately, they became my favorite they were so sweet. My friends are next in the line, Uganda we are coming back for your locusts with my friends. Long live Uganda, long live the locusts thank your Gorilla Tour Booking Safaris.
