Amazing Luxurious Primate Experience
5/5

Gatatu Safari is a Ugandan based locally ran tour company. The communication with the owner (Richard) is phenomenal. Richard will answer all your questions and change anything and everything you like. He will work with you on customizing everything of preference from activities to lodging upgrades (tents, deluxe rooms, lodges, etc.) He answers most e-mails the same day. Also, the prices they offer can not be beat. We stayed in luxury lodges and Gatatu was the only company that offered them in our price range. The best part about the company is that the owner (Richard) has a degree in social work and he started a school to help children. He uses a portion of the profits from his company to help fund the school and support the children. So, you can feel really good about supporting this tour company as the money does not feed into some euro-based big business. This is also why I believe you will find the best prices here. Note that since the company is not a Euro-business, they do not accept credit card at this time. Payments are made via wire transfer, if this worries you please feel free to contact me or Gatatu can put you in contact with my facebook to confirm your money is safe (and also check out some tour photos)! Working with Gatatu was very professional. They picked us up where we requested right on time and we were dropped off to our exiting destination promptly. Vehicle, safari guide/driver, and bookings were all as promised. All-in-all we were very happy with our tour. We have many recommendations if needed about activities and lodges. I would say your best bet for Primates is through Gatatu as many other companies have a significant mark-up. Gatatu will make sure you get the most for your money.

Dream come true
5/5

Before I started to write this review, I read the reviews of other guests. I could just copy and paste their stories, we've experienced only positive things as well!
From the 2nd till the 9th of August we went on a Safari with Christopher. We are a family with three children (12, 12, 13). The trip was planned easily with Christopher via email. We went from Arusha to Lake Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater to the Tarangire National park. We stayed at several lodges and tented camps (Kati Kati). We liked them all: the food, the service and the accomodation itself. I specialy loved the little "Ric" lodge, with the lovely Roos, who baked a great cake just for us! We saw so much nature and animals, really impressive. And we've learned so much from Christopher. The children couldn't stop asking him questions about the animals and their behaviour. Also good to know is that Christopher is a mechanic from origin, so no need to worry when the car is having some problems and the lions are watching you :).
For us this was a fantastic experience and we would without any doubt advice "I dream of Africa", to everyone!

Amazing Safari Experience
5/5

We booked a 6 night safari and 4 night beach vacation with Roho Ya Chui. The communication when booking our trip was excellent enabling us to have a fully customised itinerary. Our vacation was wonderful! The two safari lodges were both more than we imagined. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable leaving us feeling both comfortable and safe with all the wildlife. The beach resort was lovely as well. We'll definitely consider using Roho Ya Chui in the future.

Kilimanjaro trek fantastic
5/5

It's incredible to realize it has been a week since we were in the roof of Africa,. We did the 8 days lemosho trek and can say that the logistics were spot on. Great advises before coming, excellent hotel recommendation before trek (African tulip). Great punctuality on transfers and an amazing team who went the extra mile to keep us motivated and safe until we reached our big dream.

We recommend this company to everyone.

3 days in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro
5/5

Sunset glowing red over a vast horizon-less Serengeti. Three male elephants walking across a volcanic crater. A leopard eating an impala in a tree. 3 eventful and fascinating days on safari in the stunning Serengeti and Ngorongoro.

Wildlife: lions, elephants, hippos, leopards, cheetahs, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, impala, gazelle, mongooses, ostriches, monkeys, baboons, eagles and a far away rhino. And that’s just mentioning the famous ones….

Staff/Service: The guide was from nearby Kilimanjaro and was very knowledgeable regarding the wildlife and the geography of the Serengeti. An anecdote or two over dinner would have added something but he worked hard to deliver a memorable experience. Our cook produced tasty meals from limited resources.

Vehicle: A customised Toyota Landcruiser fitted with a pop-up roof was comfortable and ideal for viewing wildlife.

Camping: Not exactly luxury, but I would prefer to sleep in a tent in the Serengeti than stay in 5-star hotel!

I had a fantastic experience and highly recommend Shemaji Safari & Tours to any adventurous visitors in beautiful northern Tanzania.

Great Trip
5/5

Everything was just fantastic. The guides on the safaris were all great, particularly James. He is very passionate about the animals and we learned a lot. The accommodations were also excellent. The restaurant for lunch was very good, both food and service. It is an experience that we will remember fondly for a long time. I would highly recommend your company.

Excellent safaris to Masaai Mara and Lake Nakuru!
5/5

A very positive experience with Bison Safaris. Prompt responses from Maggie regarding enquiries and booking our safaris at Lake Nakuru and Maasai Mara. The service and food at the lodges we stayed in were faultless. We had a very skilled and knowledgeable driver - Evans. I would highly recommend Bison!

Thanks to Maggie ! it was really Awesome !!!! No words to explain....
5/5

It was really a life time experience... Maggie addressed all my queries before confirming the booking... i was travelling single but met other 6 friends two from Sweden, one each from Italy, South Africa, Korea...

The driver Amosh.. was awesome and he took us to the places where no other was.. we saw lions, one lioness in action attacking Weild beast, hundreds of Weild Beats and zebras crossing Mara river and being killed by crocodiles and Hippos... group of elephants, Giraffes,Hynas, Chitaah just in front of our vehicle..

Saw two couples of lions at a distance of just few feets !! Ostriches, Hynas, Heart Beast, Hundreds of buffaloes, Masai People and their homes... experienced their way of living....Accommodation (camps) were perfect inside the Masai Mara Reserve where lions can come... outside your camps !!!! lot of baboons ....

i have no words to explain my experience... guys just experience it yourself... it is some other world.... whatever you have seen on discovery channel, National Geographic... u can experience it....

Its a must visit in life time...
