3 days in Serengeti and Ngorongoro
4/5

Me and my 2 children wanted to go in Serengeti and Ngorongoro once in Tanzania, without prior organization.
After some emails exchanges, I have met Emma in Arusha. She found me a suitable solution for my budget and wishes.
Our Guide (Elie) was very competent, and has made my children happy. The patrick's dishes and logistic made me happy...
The only thing to improve for Shemeji Safari & Tours is the means of payment.

Globally, it was really a great trip !

Uganda Tour
4/5

Quick and pleasant communication during initial inquiry and ongoing preparation of the tailor-made tour. Thanks Peace for all the help, and Elias for telling us the history and stories of Uganda while driving us through the country. Make sure the Gorilla permits are confirmed for the agreed group(s) which was the only hick-up but wonderfully solved from fantastic Clouds Mountain Gorilla Lodge.

An unforgettable adventure in Uganda!
5/5

We spent a wonderful nine days in Uganda for what was my third visit and my wife's first visit to the country.
Although Experience Uganda tailors each safari to the interests and wishes of its clients, we found that the Quintessential Uganda sample itinerary proposed on the Experience Uganda website perfectly met our needs.
The booking process was straightforward and customer friendly. After submitting my enquiry, Kevin from Experience Uganda replied very rapidly to find out more about our expectations. We had two phone conversations during which we discussed the various possible options within the programme and then exchanged further by e-mail. Kevin arranged all the travel, accommodation and meals within Uganda as well as the the safari and trekking permits. All we had to book were our flights and our visas.
The accommodation selected for us was perfect. The lodges were small and beautifully maintained, with astounding views of the beautiful surroundings. The food was delicious, with three or four course dining everywhere we stayed and gourmet quality dining in several of the lodges. Our dietary requirements (gluten-free for my wife and vegetarian for me) were perfectly catered for throughout thanks to the arrangements made by Kevin before our trip.
Our guide and driver, Kamya, was great fun and very knowledgeable. He not only knew everything about the animals and birds that we encountered, but was able to answer all our questions about Uganda's culture, history and politics as well.
We enjoyed every minute of our trip to Uganda and wholeheartedly recommend Experience Uganda to anyone planning a trip.

A good guide is what makes a good safari - and Bernard is the best!
5/5

I honestly don't know how he does it, but Bernard is amazing! He can see the animals early and he also has a great rapport with the other guides. He uses both of those talents to be sure his clients are in the middle of all the action in the parks. Just watch him greet everyone with a smile and handshake! And trust him when he suggests cruising for another hour because there might just be a black rhino active this afternoon.

Bernard and Marion are truly responsive to their guests. Moment by moment, they customize everything to meet the guests' needs - food, water, rest, a type of hotel, a photo opportunity, more time to watch an animal, time to move to something new, answering questions about everything from animal behavior to local customs!

A safari is about observing animals in the wild - no guarantees about what nature will show you. But traveling with Caracal is a guarantee that you will see everything available in just the way you want every single day.

Safari Kenya - Tanzania
4/5

By the end of June I travelled for 11 days with Abolute Holiday Safaris to Kenya and Tanzania. First half - 6 days in Kenya was absolutely amazing. We had a great guide, he told us that his name in Swahili means animal and we should call him John (Onejohnny?). He knew very interesting facts about all that we saw, he knew every animal, he knew a lot about the culture and politics of Kenya and he could find the animals very quickly. We had a lot of interesting experience during the journey. Unfortunately, after the end of the Kenya tour, the problems began. First, the trasfer to the Tansania border in the end turned up to be a public transport transfer. I spent several hours in a bus full of noisy kids and ill people travelling with a lot of stuff. I walked alone the Tansania border and I was met by an agent in the bus station in Arusha. He drove me to the hotel in Arusha - in this matter everything worked OK. In the morning our 5-day tour in Tansania started. The conditions of the accomodation and most of all the guide were not great at all. His name was Good Luck. As a driver, he did a good job. But as a guide it was a total disaster. He was arrogant and lazy. He did not speak about almost anything at all. Because of him every day of our tour was destroyed for me. This is the reason why I gave four stars - five stars and a + for Kenya, and three stars and a minus for Tansania. Tours offered by Absolute Holidays Safari in Kenya are amazing. But they should pay more attention to choosing their partners in other countries.

4 day safari
5/5

I would recommend Ubon safaris. The staff were in contact regularly to ensure I was comfortable every step of the way and went out of their way to ensure I had the best lodges, tour guide, 4 wheel drive and general service I could have (sourced locally via Sunny Safari).

Umang in particular was very helpful; he found me a safari that met my budget and ensured I visited the parks that had the most wildlife to see within the timeframe I had.
