Going on safari with Benjamin as our guide was perfect.
Benjamin is very enthusiastic, he knows a lot about the nature and culture of South Africa and he is a real gentlemen.
Thanks to him it was a great journey that we will never forget.

Really great and exceptional experience
5/5

My wife and I were recommended by the Sarova Mara hotel to book our 3 day safari at the Masai Mara with the Bigfoot Adventures. Since, it was our honeymoon trip, we wanted everything perfect, including the car, the guide, trips, minute details etc. We were absolutely delighted with every single thing we received.

The Car: We got the best 4x4. I can vouch for it as other guides and tourists used to stare at our huge and new car. It was very comfortable and made the safari experience very enriching. At many points in the safari, our guide drove across fully utilizing the car's power across rough trails and ponds.

Guide: Dexter was our guide for the 3 day sojourn. Dexter was very professional, friendly, knowledgeable and really great at spotting animals. At several occasions, we were the first to spot the animals and other cars would simply follow us via radio chatter. At one time, Dexter spotted first the rhino (such a rarity and luck!) and he drove across the terrain while not losing sight so that we won't miss it. I am sure we kept Dexter busy by asking him so many questions not only about the animals but also about everything under the sun in Kenya! He responded very well to all our questions with great interests.

Overall experience: We really enjoyed the entire experience. BigFoot really made it very good for us. Big thumbs up! I am pretty sure, if we come to Kenya again, we are going to call them up again. Mercy/Maureen were the people whom we contacted for booking our tour. They were very humble and courteous and they really helped us make our journey memorable.

Wonderful Safaris
5/5

Orongai Africa Safaris is a young company.
Despite all this, Asseri, the founder of the company, is an experienced guide.
I have known him for 7 years.
Not only once could I spend unforgettable days in Tanzania under his guidance.
A perfect organization with great attention to detail made the safaris to highlights in my life.
It was always possible to express wishes and to plan and carry out the safari as I wanted.
Asseri is a great guide, reliable and always in a good mood.
On the safaris I received from him a lot of information about Tanzania, the unique landscape and the wonderful wildlife.
You can feel his love for his homeland and his profession.
So I also learned to love this country and to be enthusiastic about it.
The company is definitely recommended.
The value for money is right and the recommended accommodations are perfectly selected.
Orongai Africa Safaris - always a great experience!
See you in Tanzania, maybe soon again!

Dear Asseri, dear Martha, I wish you all the best!

Well Planned Kenya Safari
5/5

This was our first trip to Africa let alone Kenya, so before planning the tour I was very apprehensive about booking directly with a Safari company in Kenya. However because I wanted a customized itinerary and also has a budget I contacted Shoor Safaris through a referral from a friend who had travelled to Kenya with this operator.
From the time I emailed the Shoor team till when we arrived for our 7 day Safari the communication was very clear, informative and to the point.
The actual safari was amazing..words cannot describe the beauty of Kenya and its wildlife not to mention its people.

Our Driver was also the perfect guide and a very nice jovial person who took care of every part of our tour. We had such a good time that we have decided as a family that will be back to East Africa in the near future.

So thank you to Shoor Safaris in Kenya for the memorable Safari !

Fantastic trip with Rachel team
5/5

My friends and I enjoyed our trip across East Africa, it was memorable, trips to destinations in Kenya and Tanzania we're worth the experience. In a group of five we toured Kenya's Masai Mara and Tanzania's Serengeti and Ngoro Ngoro crater facilitated by tour guides from African Habitat Safaris everything went as planned . It was good to interact with the natives and experience cultural diversity on this part of the world. We must say the game drives besides site seeing made this vacation a unique experience. It was worth the time, and you get value for your money African Habitat is the best...

You get just what you expect from tour organized by Ilmaasai Expedition and a bit more.
5/5

That was just a great experience we (my boyfriend and I) got with the help of Ilmaasai Expedition, or rather Loth (organizer and owner) and David (driver and guide). Guys met us at the airport and right after this went to safari.
David was telling a lot of interesting things about animals and not only. We were able to see a lion female, hunted a gazelle, in the first day. And in the second day we met 2 lions males, one of them was sleeping in the bushes just in 1-2 meters from our car - that was incredible!
After day of safari we spent evenings in a lodge, David was telling us a lot of amazing stories from his previous safaris, showed rare videos with animals.
In the end guys were very kind to take us to our hotel in Arusha and to the airport next morning.
So everything went just great. We're looking forward to go to safari again, this time - to Serengeti!

WONDERFUL and VERY GREAT adventure
5/5

We visit the Safari last week tru the help of Mr Eric Lennox.

Booking your safari trip is not easy specially if you do not know anybody in Africa. So I browse the internet and found a good review about Axis Africa Safari and it is recommended by previous customer so I tried contacting this office. Turns out that everything is easy and Mr Lennox is easy to talk to and always ready to response to your queries.

We booked 6 day Safari and we had a very wonderful experienced. Great to see wild animals and plus we think we came to perfect weather. But According to the guide- the migration of the wildebeest and other animals is between July to October. So if you want to see more animal it is better come to these month so you will be able to see more animals on the field.
We saw many zebras and gazelle's and smallest antelope, elephant and we even see bat eared fox and other foxes, lions, cheetah's and leopard around and it was so so good to see them in person living in the wild.

Clothes- you can wear any clothes of your preference.
Camp- We stayed in Lenchada camp in Masai Mara for 2 nights where we experience the hospitality of the locals. The other lady looks like she is angry all the time but inside she is really kindhearted woman. The other camp are also great and they met our expectations. In Amboseli park we stayed in Kimana camp for one night and I had to upgrade from Kimana camp to Kibo camp for the second night.
Kibo camp is great experience and they even have restaurant and swimming pool and bar where you can have a drink and relax after a long day drive from safari. They also have wifi which is very important (to update your facebook and blogs) and for the cost I think it is reasonable.

Our driver name is John. He is the one who drives us for 6 days in the safaris and I would say that he is well trained and well mannered tour guide and driver. He speaks English fluently and he is easy to talk to. Because we visit safari with our big camera's, often time I had to ask John to stop the car and stop the Engine (when in safari) to avoid shake and blur for my photo and he always answer to my bidding :)

The result of course we are happy because we get the photo that we wanted.
For this great experienced, I would like to say big Thanks to Axis Africa Safaris team for giving us great experienced. I would recommend that they should put "Wi-fi" on the vehicle so the tourist will have access on the internet during the travel like other safaris van do.

Amazing experience
5/5

My husband and I were on a 6-days' safari in Kenya with Karibu safari. they did great job from the start, were quick to reply and follow up. I was pleasantly surprised by the standard of accomodation, seeing that we were on a budget safari. Our driver, Arun, was very professional at all times and it was clear that he's had vast experience with safaris. We got to see much more than I could have ever imagined thanks to him. All in all, a fantastic trip and value for money!
Quick tip: even though it says that water is included, it only includes full-day safaris in Amboseli and Masai Mara. You have to pay for water at lunch and dinner.

DANGER!! A genuine Swindle of touroperator in Bostwana.
1/5

The worst safari ever!!
Last October we went away to Bostwana a group of 6 persons in a safari of 13 days, 12 nights. We contract months before across the local agency Bush Baby Calls LTD since the price that offered us for the itinerary for that we look was not bad (The major mistake that we committed). His manager, such a Mogakolodi Serumola, was the one who was answering to our post office on our doubts. To reserve he asked us for an anticipation of 50 % of the price of the safari. Hitherto all good, but when we come there everything was from bad to worse and almost at all it was adjusting to what we contract. Our safari would begin in victory Falls and from there we would go to the Kalahari to be rising for the Delta of the Okavango. The manager, a scoundrel, only faced the consequences the day of beginning of the safari to appear and, overcoat, to take the rest of the money. Then it never faced the consequences in spite of living through situations of extreme gravity. Always he was throwing the fault to his workers. (In spite of being whom I receive and with whom we contract, the very inept one was exempting his responsibilities blaming his workers as if his workers were not of his responsibility).
To begin, the first day took from us the food that was included (also we had to pay to us of our pocket the breakfast in the hotel K1 in spite of being included in the price). It did us to lodge at Matswere Gate's very same entry and not at the approved camping. It made us encamp opposite a few destroyed and sickening baths riddled with scorpions and spiders (we have photos). In addition one of the clients was a major person and we ask him expressly that we wanted the shop of encamping with bath in his interior since this person was needing in the nights of going to the bath. It ignored and this 70-year-old person, I spend an authentic Calvary every night. His workers were excusing themselves of everything and were sending us to speaking with the manager, such a Mogakolodi Serumola that was never giving solutions and was escaping of everything. For limit, the land rover that gave to us (a land cruiser) defective wine with the ruadas in poor condition (even that of supply). In the first days the wheels failed in diverse occasions and we lost a lot of time changing them. In a safari you can puncture because it is normal; what is not normal is to come already of before hand with all the ruined ruadas, especially when the voyage for the country was going to be hard. But the worse thing was for coming, to the third day we were preparing to leave the desert to go to Moremi and they returned to trump the tyres. They left wire drawing us in the middle of the desert more than 4 hours.! Without water or coverage to call nobody!! He had to be a companion the fact that sim was giving his card to the driver in order that it could call the manager because none of the workers had balance. After a few hours ms late, the manager us tarjo a wheel to be able to go out of there (they were trumping 3 wheels and only it us brought one). We ask for explanations him for the condition of the car and of our safari of evening in Moremi that we it had lost since we do not come in time to the reservation and he said to us that we should not worry that we would do safari by night. Obviously it was a lie. We did not do safari not in the evening not by night in spite of having paid them. This it was the last time that we saw the manager. Nevermore it faced the consequences in spite of the multiple incidents that we would continue having and his vague promises of which it would be there or it is. A person's fraud.
We come to Moremi and, not only we did not do safari of evening by night since it us nor had promised, if not that the camp was a disaster. The showers had not even water. In spite of being almost 5 hours thrown in the desert of the Kalahari more the distance that we had to cross there was no water in the showers. The minimal thing that it is necessary to to do before sending a few clients to a place (independently of what they pay) is to make sure that expires with the minimal services. It did not even do it. It had clear that it was not going to face the consequences and his employees were not moving a finger invoking that they did not know anything. Everything was a disaster. We were thinking that already at all it could go to worse. And we are wrong. The car was continuing so bad. Stopping every little for the condition of the wheels. They promised us to change it when we were coming to Maun and, again, they us lied. They did not do it.
In Khwai it happened a little that I do not wish anybody. Already everything was a disaster. This man had ruined the vacations and it never faced the consequences. When we come to the area of Khwai proceeding Moremi's, we did safari in route until there came the hour of returning to the camp. The case is that for very incredible that it seems …! We never come!. The chauffeur put to look for the camp and … he did not find it. It started raining, key the night and the driver continued turning looking for the camp and …! Nothing!. The people started becoming very nervous until it made clear to us that he was not finding the campsite, which was not where it had to be. It was a closed night, was raining and was not giving us solutions. We demand to speak with the manager and it was not answering this one to the telephone. It gave an assault to a companion of stress. Finally it stopped in a position of rangers to explain the situation to them and for our surprise and without saying anything to us, a land rover was raised and left with them. It was totally surrealistic. It left wire drawing us in the middle of the sheet in the middle of the night. We had to sleep without supping on in a few miserable houses of a few women (surely women of rangers) that we find in the middle of the Bush. Two we sleep in the kitchen in the soil and other 4 in the exterior in a minishop because we were not fitting all in the miserable house.! This was already what fulfilled the glass!!. We demand to speak with the manager and it was not answering this one to the telephone. It gave an assault to a companion of stress. Everything was one it defrauds and they never gave to us solutions. When we come to Chobe, our last stop before returning Victoria Falls, it took from us one night that we had included and paid. Very scoundrel wanted to take us one day in Chobe in spite of having it quite full (invoices, contracts and itineraries in our hand) and it made us pay the income to the park invoking that then would pay it to us. Lie did not pay them (we have the income to the park) again, ever.
In end, a hell of trip with a disastrous company. The worse thing through that I have never lived in my trips. A manager who is a scoundrel and a compulsive liar. Flee of this company. Do not leave you to be deceptive either for his initial comity or for his prices. The cheap thing works out expensive (to us very expensive). Only I regret not having had time to denounce him in Kasane.

Amazing Safari Experience!
5/5

We organised our safari from New Zealand and Dani was excellent at replying to emails quickly and answered all our questions. Our transfer from Johannesburg and back was also organised so it was very stress free experience for us. The safari itself was amazing, much more than we ever imagined! Brandon is incredibably knowledgable about all animals, big or small and was more than happy to answer all of our questions. He has 12 years experience as a guide and it certainly shows, he nows the park very well. Staying in the park was great and we were very well looked after by Dani who cooked amazing meals for us, we enjoyed 2 game drives a day in the morning and evening and spent the rest of the time relaxing at the camp. Dani and Brandon are super nice and friendly and we would definitely recommend Shinzelle Safaris to anyone interested in a great safari experience!
