This was a fantastic adventure. The 5 day gorillas and chimpanzee trekking safari was phenomenal and I highly recommend that you go with the option to take the river cruise. The accommodations were great and our driver Fred was a gem! Adding on the cruise and the chimpanzee trek really rounds out the trip nicely. Do not hesitate and look no further because these guys are responsive and will take care of you.

Unforgettable Trip, Wouldn't Change A Thing
Look no further!! If you are anything like us, you have multiple tabs and are weeding through lots of reviews. My wife and I went on our honeymoon last September 2020. All though there were some extra hoops to jump through with Covid, we were glad that we went. From the beginning of our planning, they took the time to listen to what we were interested in and were responsive to all our questions. They were able to plan a great 7 day safari for us. Once we got there, our guide Edward was waiting for us. If you get the opportunity, you should request Edward. He is a seasoned guide. He is also funny, knowledge, and will do his best to make sure you are comfortable and get the most out of your trip. As for the accommodations, we stayed at Rivertrees County Inn, Lemala Mpingo Ridge, Kitela Lodge, Four Seasons Serengeti, and Lemala Kuria Hilla. I can only speak for the accommodations we stayed at, but they were all wonderful and beyond our expectation. The hospitality was amazing and we had zero complaints from beginning to end. We will definitely be return customers down the road! My only advice - Don't look any further.

unforgettable safari experience
We went on safari together with this beautiful company . We agreed with Martha two weeks before the safari . Despite the lockdown, we had an amazing and unforgettable week-long safari with the wonderful driver Patrick . We saw the sick five and we managed to see all the animals that we could . We recommend Martha and Patrick to anyone who is looking for a safari in Kenya.

My tour guide/safari driver was very good. A very friendly person and was very informative about the safari. A learned a lot from him about the animals and the culture in Kenya. We became very good friends on the trip. He was also very flexible with my schedule and with my desired itinerary.
The overall service was reliable and exceeded my expectations. The vehicle was very comfortable and the accommodation was amazing.
I did the safari trip solo, so I was concerned at first with my safari planning. But Safari Update Travels was so good to me. They made my safari experience a once in a life time experience which I will never forget. Thank you!

Extremely knowledgeable and patient
Wonderful tour operator - knew aspects of the animals the other tour companies where unaware and thus protected us from , as an example , a swarm of large birds that came out of a large tree nearby and greatly distressed the other tourists . He was very careful yet very knowledgeable and pleasant . I will like to book again .

My tour operator was reliable, trustworthy, and wouldn't hesitate to suggest him.
I used David from Native America Travels to drive me from the Serena Mara Lodge in the Mara Triangle to Nairobi during the Covid and found that he was very reliable and made this journey an easy and safe one. We had great conversations filling in the hours but also I was comfortable just watching the scenery and enjoying myself. He comes highly recommended.

Very well organised safari trip
It was a unique wonderful and a memorable safari experience. It was a well organised trip, covering Arusha, Tarangire, Serengeti national parks. Ngorongoro crater was excellent and we saw a black rhino. It also included Lake Manyara. Excellent choices. Lodge was exceptional, like a five star hotel. Well located with a Mountain View. Good selection of meals, including breakfast.
The driver, was very good, safe driver, does not need a sat nav. His colleague driver from a different company got lost for two days! Luca was very knowledgeable. In short. It was a brilliant safari trip. We will recommend to others without any doubt.
