The Great Migration
5/5

The trip was absolutely amazing! I loved every minute of it and was sad to leave. Your country is beautiful but even more beautiful are the people. Everyone was so incredible kind and accommodating!

John, our guide, was superb. He was so friendly, kind, helpful, and made us feel extremely safe.
The hot air balloon and the visit to the Masai tribe was our favorite memories.

I have already recommended your company to several friends. You are very good at communicating, your itinerary was excellent, and everything you state would happen was exactly as you planned. I have also mentioned to friends to request John as I think he was part of the reason we enjoyed the trip to much! Thank you again for everything.

Perfect 5 day/4 night solo safari Tanzania Northern Parks
5/5

Wow, what an amazing experience I just had with SED Adventures! Truly the trip of a lifetime and I will never forget it. Ngorogoro Crater was simply stunning and what more can be said about the wonderful Serengeti. Unbelievable seeing so much wildlife up close and personal and in their natural habitat. I will never go to a zoo again! Rema, my guide, and Bareeki, my cook, treated me so well and they really ensured I had the best safari experience possible. Gotta give a big shoutout to Laizer with SED too! He coordinated the whole trip for me and went out of his way to ensure I would have that trip of a lifetime. We had a great Skype session where he earned my trust before booking and from beginning to end he made sure all went perfectly. He made it his job to ensure I was happy and he is an incredibly nice guy too. I highly recommend reaching out to him and SED and I know I will definitely be back for another safari with them hopefully sooner than later. Asanti sana SED!!

Our safari was top of the line and our guide, Isa, is a seasoned professional.

Spot on - everything you could ask for in a safari experience. Even the weather cooperated!

Outstanding safari destination

Mala Mala borders the Kruger National Park. Southern Africa's in the grip of a drought, but Mala Mala's fortunate to have a (much-reduced) river running through it North to South. This and the winter-thinned bush make for a safari bonanza. Thanks to our outstanding guide Tim we saw a veritable A-Z of African wildlife, from top predators through to some of the rarest animals on the planet. Because Mala Mala's private you're not sitting in a queue with tens of other vehicles, and the guides can get their vehicles well off the track. It feels unbelievably privileged. Highlights were wild mating leopards, a female leopard in a cub with her den, running with a nighttime pack of hyena, herds of elephants (and much more). We were in a family double room which worked brilliantly. And I'm always amazed how places like this serve up exceptional food and drinks, which is a bonus. But we came for the safari, really, and it's made for a lifetime set of memories.

Fantastic safari location and best place to see the Rhino...!
Overall rating
5/5

...although we didn't get to see the rhino ourselves, they were there. We heard that they were on the other side of the crater as the day was drawing to a close, but other people we knew saw them. We managed to see male lions, as well as all the more "common" animals such as wildebeest, giraffes, buffalo, hippos etc. There were lots of flamingos, which was something we hadn't seen elsewhere. I wish we had been able to spend another half day here, to get to see the rhinos, as we saw the other 4 of the "big 5"! Only 2 stars for "bush vibe" as there were a lot of other tourists there, but this didn't detract from the great experience we had.

Not a 5, because while the country's parks and staff are simply outstanding, there's an undercurrent of corruption and poaching which threatens its long term tourism prospects.

About: Safarihub
We experienced far more than expected.
5/5

Once again Safarihub has helped us plan a superior holiday. As we have more experience with safari travel, they have helped us zero in on those camps that fulfill our wants.

We enjoy small, intimate camps with great managers and varied activities and the Safarihub staff has done a great job of guiding us to the right locations. Two of the camps on this trip are owned by them and we recommend them highly. It seems that safarihub does a great job of allowing each of their camps to have its own distinct personality, while providing the staff and management with excellent training opportunities. The third camp we visited on this trip was independently owned and was equally spectacular.

Life changing
5/5

Wild Africa were incredibly helpful from the get go. From answering our enquiry calls on a Sunday to ensuring our tour operator was dropping us off at the right, middle of nowhere town, to be collected by our parents. My parents used Wild Africa to book their tour last year and we did the same again this year. The 7 day camping safari in Chobe and Okovango Delta was ideal for us - I cannot explain the amazing experience we had of camping with the animals and the knowledge we gained from our exceptional guide Joe. I will, and have already, recommended this trip to numerous friends for 2017. I've already been in contact with Robert to book next years adventure to Tanzania!

I can't imagine a better guide than Pieter!
5/5

I was a bit overwhelmed and scared to visit South Africa by myself, so having a guide that would pick me up from my hotel, and take me back to the airport was awesome. I am so happy that I chose Jewel of Africa, and the itinerary that included a variety of activities. Unfortunately, I got really sick with strep throat, but Pieter was a lifesaver. He found me a doctor, took me to the pharmacy, rearranged my itinerary twice to accommodate my unexpected illness, and coordinated with Cheetah Paw Ecolodge (wonderful place and people) to feed me soup because I was having such a hard time swallowing. I had neck surgery a few months ago, so Pieter made sure that I was able to ride in the front seat during game drives, and Cheetah Paw made sure I had enough pillows for the ride as well. I felt completely safe the whole time with such a good driver, which is a good feeling for a woman traveling alone in a foreign country. Pieter clearly loves South Africa, the bush, and the flora and fauna, and his passion made every part of my safari better. Jewel of Africa greatly exceeded my expectations. Thank you for taking such good care of me!!!

great stuff!
5/5

Hey there

We (couple 32yo) came from Dubai to Rwanda to visit the guerrillas. Never though it would be so great really. Guides very friendly and helpful, and the whole processed is very well arranged (mind that it's in pretty much wilderness, mountains have no paths etc.). We took medium distance route, and have to say seems right - don't go long unless you're really fit :)

Great thanks to guides, to community and to gorillas!
