Review about Masai Mara National Reserve by Barbara And Doug
Absolutely stunning wildlife but too many visitors/cars. Sometimes it feels wrong that cars disrupt the hunt of the animals or follow them too long and with way too many vehicles so that it gets annoying for the animals. This park should be restricted to a lower visitor number.

Amazing 17 day journey through Kenya’s mayor parks
We have been to Kenya many times and love the beautiful scenery and especially the amazing wildlife.
Our tour operator Anna from “Amazing Memories Safaris” was fantastic during the preparation phase and worked with us to plan and adjust the Safari exactly to our wishes. She also provided us with an amazing guide and driver, Daniel, who has in depth knowledge of all the animals we saw, about Kenya in general, and who was a really great guy to “be stuck with” for 17 days. Daniel went absolutely above and beyond to make this the best possible Safari for us and to accommodate every request we had. When we had a medical issue, Daniel made sure to get us to a very good hospital, stayed with us the entire time to guide us through the process and also called ahead to the next lodge to set up a follow up doctor’s appointment there.
He also is a great photographer and made sure to put us in excellent spots to take great pictures. In addition, and extremely important for a Safari, he was great in spotting animals.
The car was in good shape and the lodges beautiful. Everything was handled very professionally.
We hope we will be able to go back to Kenya in 2 or 3 years, at which time we will use the same operator and definitely go with Daniel as guide.

6 days safari
We did a 6 days custom camping safari (first timers) with Shemeji and it was as good as expected. All parks are amazing (landscapes and animals including birds) but 6 days was a bit too long.
All the safari companies seem to follow the same book for the food, tents and sometimes game circuits. So your guide/driver and car will be the main difference. Our driver/guide was very experienced, knowledgeable, nice and profesional. The car was in good condition. The food was delicious and they accommodated vegetarian meals. Our tent/bed was probably one of the best around. Campsites were ok considering the amount of people.
We chose to spend more time en the Serengeti (4d) and 2 in Tarangire and Ngrongoro as we needed the time to reach northern Serengeti (which ended up being my favorite) . In retrospective just pick one of the itineraries from their website.
Ngorongoro is a great day safari if you want too see almost al animals including lions. In mid October was raining and the visibility was so so.
Tarangire is gorgeous I loved the trees. If you don’t care too much about cats go there ( we saw a cheetah though)
Serengeti is worth all the dust you will get to reach to it...but if I you can afford it... Just fly to central and go from there. We did see the migration but no river crossing. The Mara section is gorgeous.

Incredible wildlife
Outstanding! Email contact, communication and consulting services with our agent have been perfect. Travel tips and recommendations for alternatives were very helpful in our selection process. Our lodge was incredible. Thornybush has totally overexceeded our expectations. Service and friendliness of the staff was brilliant and our Safari has been made unforgettable through our guide and tracker which built a perfect co-alliance while driving in the bush. Have seen all big 5 and a bunch of other animals. Every Dollar spent worth. Would love to come back once in a while to repeat this beautiful experience. Food quality was excellent and the taste variety was overwhelming. In a nutshell: Incredible

Mission impossible of Albert
It was a great experience where we saw so many kind of the animals. Especially lions and cheaters that were so close to me.
The guide from Jocky tours navigated us to the right place to see animals by communicating with other drivers in the National park. Thanks for jokey and guide Albert.

Thanks to our super tour guide we got to see all our favorite animals
Me and my friends had so much fun on this tour!! We did a 4 day tour conbined with other groups. We were able to see elephants, giraffes and cheaters on the first day. Then we stayed a camp with tents. The place was so peaceful and relaxing. The staff were so kind too. The next few days we were able to see lions, rhinos, zebras, baboons, buffalos and so many more animals!! But we were not be able to see flamingos at lake Nakuru. During the trip we were able to meet so many travelers, share stories and became friends too. Our awesome tour guide Albert was so good a finding the animals and worked so hard to make sure we did all the thing we wanted to do. Thanks a lot Albert and Jocky tours!!

Most Trustworthy, Sincere, and Wonderful Company/Guides to Travel with!
My mom and I booked through Golden Rwanda safaris with Frank. From the moment we booked, to the very end of our trip, everything was seamless. Frank responded to all our emails and questions we had before we got to Rwanda. The price for our trip was the best we had seen anywhere for our length of stay and the activities we wanted to do.
We were warmly welcomed by Frank upon arrival with drinks and taken to our hotel, where everything was taken care of for us. We stayed at some incredible accommodations throughout our 14-night stay. Frank was so flexible in adding things we requested to our itinerary—we were able to add 2 nights in Uganda for gorilla trekking there and community visits and more time in Akagera. We also went to Volcanoes national park for gorilla and golden monkey trekking, spent 3 nights in Nyungwe Forest for chimpanzee trekking and the canopy walk, and 2 nights at Akagera big 5 game park, 2 nights at Lake Kivu, and a few nights in Kigali. Everyplace we stayed and all the activities we did were ready and prepared for us, and Frank provided us with everything we needed. The experiences were incredible- from the gorillas to our Big 5 game drives. Our guides were also very knowledgeable about the history, and the animals on our game drives and trekking activities.
Our guides always went out of their way to get us extra things for our convenience. We were in Rwanda on Christmas and Frank arranged and treated us to an incredible 7-course Christmas dinner at One&Only (super luxury resort) with dancing and performances- it was such a special night! (This was something that was not even in our itinerary). This is just one of the many examples of our guides going above and beyond what was promised!
Frank is such a wonderful host and represents everything good about Rwanda, he truly values providing the best service and experience to his clients, who become like family.
For the Uganda portion of our trip, Frank was not available but provided us with another guide, Isaac, who was also wonderful and tended to our every need. He walked around the village with us all day, for as long as we wanted and ran back to the hotel to get the car when it rained on us. I know I can trust him to provide the best guides.
The vehicles we traveled in were very comfortable and have air conditioning, a fridge for drinks, and lots of room. He also provided us a free WiFi hotspot whenever we asked, and tended to our every request. This experience truly exceeded ALL our expectations!
I would recommend Golden Rwanda Safaris to anyone wanting to visit Rwanda, Uganda, and/or DRC. We will definitely return to book our DRC trip with them!
