Godson is friendly, personable, professional and knowledgeable. We have recommended him plenty!
We unfortunately booked through an external agent, which was unnecessary, as Godson easily could’ve sorted it all for us, but I suppose we’d not have met him otherwise!
His English is very good, and he has excellent knowledge of the Serengeti and Ngorongoro areas, as well as the local vegetation, local tribes & customs, and of course the wildlife.
We had a good laugh with him, all while feeling safe and prioritized. He demonstrates the utmost professionalism and truly made our safari adventure second to none!

Well arranged, and an excellen value for your money
I enjoyed my safari with Jockey Tours and Safaris from the moment I booked it at the office untill the day it was over and they dropped me off at my hotel one week later. The company has an amazing staff and very friendly owner, who will try to accomodat you at all times.
To strat off with the tour was very well arranged: pickup and drop off at your hotel, transport, all meals and water included, good accomodation and a good driver. I booked my tour 3 days in advance, which was no problem at all. When I asked them 2 days later if my friend could join, they made the arrangements right away and even when we were on our last day of the safari and decided to add one more day, to see a different park, they made it possible within minutes. Their service is truely remarkable. We ended up booking a 5 day budget safari to Masaai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and Hell's Gate N.P.
The accomodation provided was also lovely. The tented camp at the Masaai Mara had huge tents, with very comfortable double beds and hot water showers. The lodge in Nakuru povided us with a big pool, which was very welcome after all the dust, and excellent food. The Lake Nakuru hotel was smaller, but had a lovely garden and very friendly staff.
The food was always good and there was always plenty. For breakfast we either had an english or continental breakfast. Lunch was either served in the lodge or as a picknick inside the park during full day game drives. They were always different, well spiced and there was always a very good vegetarian option. Dinner was always served at the lodge and also existed of a good and healty veriety of meals.
There were always drinks available such as cold beers and soda's which were not at all expensive.
Our driver knew the parks and the animals very well. He really tried to show us all the wonders off african nature and whenever big game was spotted somewhere he would make shure we were the first once to arrive. So many thanks to our driver who made the trip complete.
All together I canhighly recommend Jockey Tours and Safaris. When booking with them you will most definately get your moneys worth.
FYI
All hotels had hot water showers.

Nice country
It was a nice tour where we saw many animals such as lions, rhinos, elephants, hippos, buffaloes, zebras, antelopes and many birds.
The highlights were chimp and gorilla trekking.
Allover the journey we had an excellent Guide, Mr. Robert.

Definitely a well-planned and organized safari trip to Africa.
It has been a great experience to shop and travel with African Sermon Safaris. At no time we felt left to ourselves - we are used to traveling on our own - yet appreciated the this well-planned, precise help and guidance. Our trip went to Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru Park and there was nothing missing. All the animals were there and showed up. It was a huge experience. The hotels were great, and offered fine food. Thanks to Daniel, our able guide John Kabiro and all the others who made the safari trip such spectacular.

4-day budget safari to Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru which me and my brother was super happy with!
Did a 4-day Mara and Lake Nakuru with this company and we were very satisified! The price was low which of course can be notised compared to the tours that would have been a few hundred dollars more expensive but it did not make any difference. Happily positive with the "tented" camp which is more like a hotel room with canvas walls. The food during the trip is absolutely decent, nothing more nothing less. The guides made the experience even better!

Offer a very personal service.
Pre-arrival communications were good and patience shown regarding technical payment problems. The Maasai Mara safari was good and the Sopa Lodge met expectations. Geoffrey picked me up from my accommodation himself and ensured that I met up with the safari vehicle without problem. He also met me at the end of the tour and helped me organise my activities for the next day.

Kevin with Experience Uganda was phenomenal. I couldn't have asked for anything more. Truly.
From the first email to the drop off at the airport at the end I can't say enough about our trip. Every detail was well thought through, lots of great attention on how to take care of visas, reminders to ensure we were ready, drivers present to pick us up, an invitation to spend 5 hours at the guest house instead of being stuck at the airport. They thought of EVERYTHING. Our stay was impeccable. I commented to the people that I traveled with that I never write reviews and I was eager to write one for Experience Uganda based on their level of service and detail. I've traveled quite a bit and have never had an experience so well thought out. I would travel with Experience Uganda again in a heart beat.

Priceless, Amazing 13 Days in Kenya-Tanzania!
We want to thank Mr. Otieno and his staff for providing us with such incredible services. We don’t know how you could provide us with such an action-packed adventure, marvelous accommodations and meals for such a low price!
We were greeted happily by our guide, John, even though we were more than 2 hours late arriving in Nairobi after midnight. We were impressed from the 1st night at Eka Hotel. On our 1st safari day we went to Lakes Naivasha and Nakuru where we saw both White and Black Rhinos and Flamingos just to name a few. We realized immediately how knowledgeable our guide is and how he has such good eyes in spotting animals. Lake Nakuru Lodge was beyond beautiful!
Day 2 was a bit rough as we had a bit of car trouble on the way to Maasai Mara so we spent about 2 hours in Narok. Our 6 other companions went on ahead in the other vehicle on schedule. We arrived at the Maasai Mara Park gate around 7PM and our John had to negotiate our way in as the park gate was already closed. We were delighted to be greeted by the wonderful people at Osero Lodge and wonderfully surprised by the accommodation – again! Food and staff at Osero Lodge contributed to making this trip unforgettable.
We happily spent a few days in Maasai Mara, which is so appropriate considering how rough it is to get there. Animals were plentiful. John always knew how to be a step or two ahead of the animals so we got great views/photos of them. We saw swathes of animals, big and small! We spent half a day on the Mara River watching countless hippos. A few hours in the Maasai village where we watched the Maasai Dance and were taken inside their compound was interesting.
We headed to Amboseli after Maasai Mara. We stopped at The Carnivore Restaurant (our request) in Nairobi for lunch which we DO NOT recommend at all. The service was absolutely horrible and so slow. The food wasn’t too bad but if you are looking to get some exotic meat then you will be disappointed. There are plenty of other local, reasonable and more authentic bbq shacks everywhere. Ask your guide to stop at one.
We had our first view of the magnificent Kilimanjaro on the way to Kibo Safari Camp. We fell in love with our room. The sight of Kilimanjaro just outside of the room was unbelievable!
Amboseli is famous for large-tusked elephants and we saw plenty of them. Great photo ops for photographers here as you’d be excited to get some shots of animals with Kilimanjaro in the background.
Time to head to Tanzania. Our guide, Michael, has keen eyes for birds and plants. A couple of hours in Lake Manyara before heading to Octagon Lodge. We sighted some blue monkeys and more flamingos.
Spending a night at the Serengeti Savannah Camps was a wonderful surprise! Staying right inside the Serengeti out in the open?!! Nothing beats this! Bed was so comfy too.
A day trip to Ngorongoro Crater was as beautiful and plentiful as you could hope for. If you have more time you might see the rhinos and elephants. We had a marvelous time.
Zanzibar was a nice finishing touch to the trip. The hotel was our least favourite in the whole trip. We were supposed to stay at Zanzibar Ocean Blue but the reality is nothing like the pictures we saw on their website (maybe we were at a different hotel?). We hired a car to go to Stone Town and walked around ourselves. It was an adventure. We asked our driver to take us to David Livingstone’s House (old British Consulate/Expedition HQ) but he had no idea where that was. He got a policeman to help us, who took us there, and with the help of a civil servant, we got a private tour. It was very moving.
Word of Advice to all Travelers – Please be prepared to tip your guides generously. Your servers, hotel staff, the Maasai guards at your lodges and cleaners all depend on your generosity. Bring lots of US dollars in small bills. You will not regret it. Asante Sana.
