Awesome experience and professional services
5/5

We had an awesome experience with Hello Tanzania. Mwajabu and her team provided us an excellent and professional service. Right from booking time we were assured of our comfort. We are a family with three kids and we had lots of questions which were answered very professionally. They have definitely gained our trust and we have selected them for our next excursion from
Dar to Zanzibar. We also highly recommend Hello Tanzania to all prospective travellers.

The safari trip was also awesome. The driver and guide were friendly helpful and always accommodating according to our family needs. They managed to pick lions sleeping in the bush and did take us around all areas in game drive in Mikumi seeing plenty of elephants giraffes zebras monkeys buffalo etc etc.

Vuma Hills is an excellent secluded location on top of a hill overlooking the forest and the campsite was one of a kind experience. It's perfectly safe family environment with superb views, great food and hospitable staff. The interior of the tented camp blew us away. Very comfortable yet truly jungle setting - simply awesome!

We highly recommend you to choose Hello Tanzania and rest assured you will be very well looked after. Like us, first time visiting Tanzania, we can say they made it a memorable vacation. Thank you Mwajabu and Hello Tanzania!

You have to trust in Katona Tours
5/5

When I decided to see at least one of 680 Black Gorilla I visited Trip Advisor Forum. In fact I had many proposals but I'm lucky that choosed Katona Tours. Communication was good and quick. Jackie is excellent! Richard was not only guide and driver but also my nanny! Note: 1 .Before your trip You should read "Green Hills of Africa" by Ernest Hemingway 2. Though Gorilla tracking is the main activity, a range of other walks may be provided 3. Visit the local orphanage (Director Mrs. Happy) and school, who benefit from direct contributions from guests in the area. Help them. Happy New Year! Many thanks Katona Tours!!!

Biking Kenya
5/5

The overall experience was fantastic. Agnes in head office easy to contact. Did have some trouble with wiring the money but not sure why. We did the 10day biking and safari trip. Sankale was an excellent guide and a wealth of information on the culture of the Masai and what an experience to see how the people of Kenya reacted to him in his traditional clothes, I enjoyed all the info he gave to us and still want to learn more. Hassan was our guardian angel who got us safely to everywhere on the difficult Kenyan roads and always with calm and a great sense of humor. We were spoiled to have these 2 and we all enjoyed each others company throughout the trip. All the places we went were incredible as far as the animals we saw and the sites themselves and everyone was a different experience. Great time of year to see the animals as we saw them all with babies as well. The accommodations in the comfort level were fantastic and a great surprise especially all the tented camps. The biking was fun maybe less kms than I thought and the bikes could be in better condition but were still functional. The transfers were long and on bad road conditions but Hassan and Sankale made it all enjoyable. Maji Moto was a favorite and in general I was very surprised at the generosity and kindness of all the staff in every accommodation. Kenya was a wonderful surprise and is filled with wonderful people as well as incredible haute and animals.

Not trustworthy!
1/5

Bad! Poor execution and under-delivery of what has been agreed and paid for are my two biggest pain-points with Tomodachi. Even if the company had provided as advertised, I would still not recommend it due to poor overall service (last-minute arrangement and changes), lack of tour briefing (we have to ask what's going on all the time) and the tour guides are not helpful. The Managing Director is Joseph Mwema, and co-partner: Jasper Kishari.

The Best Safari Ever with Wild Planet Safari
5/5

We cannot thank you enough Ryan, Thale and Lungisani for our best safari experience. Absolutely marvelous seeing the Big Five almost everyday of our 4 day safari in Kruger National Park. The heavy rains that we must have brought to the Park when we arrived did not hamper the animals and we even saw the porcupines, mongooses, hares and millions of termites which were flushed out of their homes by the water. The animals and birds were feasting on the ground and flying termites. We saw the lions twice with three majestic males and the elusive leopards 3 times. One leopard was walking just next to us in the rain at the night safari ride organised by Satara camp. With elephants, giraffes and zebras eating and crossing the road (zebra crossing *) right in front and behind us, these wild animals did not mind us at all being so close to them.
Thale organised the bookings and enquiries and Ryan and Lungisani carried out the safari for the 4 of us in a very personal and family experience from the moment we landed at Johannesburg Airport and cleared customs and immigration. They cooked amazing breakfasts, lunches and dinners with fruits, good wine and juices to go with them and joined us for these and other meals as well. Each day started at 4.00am and ended at about 10pm with 3 trips into the bush each day with enough time in between for a rest. Ryan's knowledge of and sharing on the African bush and plains and the animals, birds and other wild life that live in them also made the safari educational for us. Ryan brought all they needed for our enjoyment and their camping needs in the nippy little towed trailer which was left parked outside our two villa huts all the time and left unlocked. This is how safe and secure the Satara and Sukukuza camps are and also according to Ryan in the 10 years he has been operating Wild Planet Safari. I could keep on writing a book about our 4 day safari. Well Done Wild Planet Safari. May 2017 bring you more adventures with more thoroughly satisfied tourists/customers like us.

Amazing safari with Karumuna Safaris
5/5

It was so easy to plan our safari with Richard, the owner of Karumuna Safaris. He answered all of my questions (and there were many) in a timely manner. The whole safari was planned by exchanging numerous emails. You are in good hands with this company both pre-safari and once you are in Uganda. He arranged everything in an efficient manner, and was always very punctual. He works hard to make sure his travelers are happy. Plus, he is just a really nice person, from whom you will gain a lot of insight into life in Uganda. Uganda is a beautiful country that offers so many varied experiences, from horse back riding along the Nile, hiking, and of course, many national parks. It was an experience of a lifetime to see the gorillas and chimps. At our request Richard even contacted a guide when we decided at the last minute that we wanted to spend more time chimp trekking. Do not hesitate to book with Karumuna, an honest and very reliable company. Highly recommended!

The most breathtaking, lively experience I have ever had. We seen 'The Big Four' on the first day!
5/5

This trip was so amazing. The service at the accommodation was second to none. The owner of the camp treated us like family. They welcomed us with open arms. The accommodation was perfect with not a thing out of place. Very clean and very well designed. Super friendly staff who are willing to guide you back to your cabin/tent to make you feel safe. Waking up to an incredible view the next day was simply breathtaking. Not to mention, bacon & eggs for breakfast the following morning. Our tour guides on safari were so patient and waited until the animals got closer to us so we could all take our desired photos. I would give this safari tour more stars if it were possible. We seen 'The Big Four' on the very first day we arrived. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Certainly something to write home about. I am definitely going back to visit this place again in the near future.

Brilliant Kenyan safari experience with Transtrek Safaris
5/5

Our son recommended Transtrek Safaris to us and we are so glad that we took his advice. We contacted Daniel and were immediately impressed by how efficiently he tailored a trip to meet our needs and expectations: a six-day safari on which we could hope to see lots of game, yet not be in areas crowded with other visitors. We spent one night in Nakuru and another in Naivasha before going on to the Naboisho conservancy in the Masai Mara for 4 particularly memorable days at Eagle View Camp (solar-powered, great vista over a water course, friendly staff, spacious and comfortable "tent"). The highlights of Nakuru were seeing white rhino and, in the evening, a lioness walking along the dirt road before turning off to rejoin and feed her cubs (so our excellent and knowledgeable guide, Peter, surmised). Naivasha was the least interesting of our 3 venues (large and busy hotel rather than intimate lodge or camp): we did see hippo in the lake and on land, but not as closely as we were able to observe in Naboisho. In the latter venue, Peter and Amos, our Masai "warrior" guide, excelled at sensing where the big game was: we were able to spend long periods as the only viewers of lions, cheetahs, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, jackals, hippos, hyenas, wildebeest, topi and all manner of gazelles and birds. Peter is a really excellent driver, both on the rutted tracks of the plain and, most appreciatively, on the paved roads out of Nairobi where the two-lane highway invariably has 3 cars abreast!
From being picked-up at the airport to being delivered back there we have nothing but praise for Transtrek Safaris; we recommend them wholeheartedly to you. Perhaps we'll meet you, as we will certainly use Transtrek on our next visit!
