Having not visited the region, we left it up to an experienced travel coy to organise our tour plan
5/5

When you travel, the one thing you want is for everything to go smoothly in terms of ticketing, transfers, borders and the like - particularly when you are hopping from one country to another. Experience Africa Safaris seemed to know what they were doing and they worked out as a good choice. Our experiences at Hwange, Victoria Falls and cruising on the Chobe River were made that much better by the choice of accommodation provider.

A wonderful trip to Zimbabwe!
5/5

Experience Africa Safaris provided extraordinary service and expertise in setting us up for a truly memorable trip to Zimbabwe. Marion worked closely with us to suggest several alternatives. Once our itinerary was chosen, she guided us through all of the steps to ensure everything was in order. From the moment we arrived in Bulawayo, through two safaris and a weekend in Victoria Falls, the transportation, accommodations and special activities flowed flawlessly. We were thrilled with the safaris (Amalinda Camp and Somalisa Camp) and thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Victoria Falls. This was a trip of a lifetime for us ... we will return and we'll certainly be working with Experience Africa Safaris on our next trip.

About: Uganda
A Dream fulfilled
Overall rating
5/5

I chose a small safari company, employing mostly women as guide /drivers and went on my own. Traveling this way I was able to meet and have many one on one conversations with the different guides and other Ugandans. It was a wonderful experience. Yes , I saw and loved seeing the animals, but my greatest joy was meeting the people, finding about the rich cultural diversity in the country, interacting with the children and villagers, and getting to know my guide.

The rainy season had come a little early so there were lots of adventuresome road driving due to washouts etc. but my guide/ driver was awesome. Nothing seemed to phase her. The accommodations, although basic due to where we traveled, were always clean and serviceable. Staff at the various places were always helpful, polite and friendly.

Many of my friends say that I was brave for traveling to Uganda and Kenya on my own but due to the professional experienced treatment I received from my safari company and the genuine kindness of the Ugandan people, I can honestly say that I never felt threatened or unsafe. If someone is looking really experience an African country , not just view it, Uganda is the place to go!

I & my husband visited Kenya in early Oct, it's our first anniversary and belated honeynoon :)
we booked our first Sarafi trip with Wildebeest, out guide is Daniel and he's awesome!!!! he knows a lot about the wildlife, and we learnt to be patient in front of the wild.
we met all big 5s and the migration, we met a lot of lovely safari animal and everything goes very well!!!
accommodation is in different styles in different days, we stayed in tents, courtyard, and the even alien huts!!
we do enjoy every minutes during our time in Kenya, and we will be there again very soon!!

Everything that I had hoped for -- excellent 1 day tour of Akagera and introduction to Rwanda
5/5

Every aspect of the tour provided by Frank and Golden Rwanda was excellent, from our pre-trip communications, early morning pick-up, travel to/through/back from the park, and follow-up. This was my first (solo) trip to Africa and first safari, and Frank provided detailed and thoughtful historical and cultural perspectives on the rides to and from the park. We spent the whole day (~6-7 hours) traveling the length of the park and were able to spot and spend significant time observing almost all of the hoped-for animals (... elephants, giraffes, various antelopes, hippos, zebras, crocs, great birds -- but saving the rhinos and lions for my next trip!). Frank and Daniel, our local guide within the park, were experts at spotting animals on the horizons and shared their extensive knowledge about every aspect of the park. We spent plenty of time waiting for camera shots to develop and I never had a feeling that we needed to move faster or rush an experience. The Land Cruiser was very comfortable throughout the trip and got us through the park, including a brief afternoon downpour, with ease.
When I go back to Rwanda, hopefully with family in tow, I look forward to doing another tour with Frank -- it was an excellent experience and I would not hesitate to recommend their services.

It was a very interesting and exciting trip with likeable and competent guides - unforgettable.
5/5

The communication was perfect: the guides speak English, Swahili and German great. It exceeded all expectations. There was everytime un contact and I feld allways confident. The guide gave a lot of informations about Tanzania whose nature and animals and he answered questions. Moreover he was very committed to find and to show the animals and to content us.
Ultimately: Good service, very good organisation and management.
It was unforgettable and I will visite Tanzania again.

This Safari was really amazing and an experience for life
5/5

When we first decided to go on a private family safari in Tanzania, we found it hard to decide on a tour operator company because there are so many of them. After friends of ours returned from a group safari with Enchanting Tanzania Safaris and enthusiastically told us about their great experience and how happy they were with the whole trip, we decided to book with this tour operator too. After spending a wonderful 8 days at all famous National Parks of the North and seeing all this incredibly beautiful scenery and wildlife, we were really happy with our decision. Service was excellent and the recommended hotels and camps were perfect. Our daughter (10) really enjoyed the pool after an exciting game drive and the special attention from our driver/guide, who always joked around with her. He was an excellent driver, trying to avoid the road bumps .-) Very competent in finding animals and reading tracks. We saw all of the Big 5, even a rhino in the Ngorongoro Crater. This will definitely not be our last safari with Enchanting Tanzania Safaris. Caught the bug I guess :-)
