Review about Arusha National Park by Regina from Vancouver BC
Overall rating
5/5

Arusha National Park should be done at the beginning of the trip. After the overwhelming wildlife in the other parks, Arusha National Park seemed to be a little less exciting.

When I think back to our safari through the Serengeti National Park it still amazes me how it made such an incredible impact on my life.
I never expected to see so much of wildlife, I had hoped for some elephants and lions as a highlight of our trip but to have an elephant right next to my open car window, looking into my eyes or to sit and watch 14 lion cubs playing with their mothers or to listen to the thunder of hundreds (thousands?) of wildebeest racing through a ravine, it just blew my mind and at the same time made me think about the future of these parks that have been saved so far from thoughtless destruction.
I hope that we can really do enough as humans to make sure that this beautiful nature will always be protected and be there for us and our children.
This desire was born in the parks of Tanzania and that is why I hope that more people will go to experience similar moments of awe and gratitude.
I also loved the African trees and the typical red soil in some places. The lodges were another surprise. I am still asking myself, how they can function so well in the middle of nowhere!
At the end I realized that our experience had been very well organized and prepared by the tour guides and their company. The trucks were comfortable and very safe and there was not a moment in our 12 days in Tanzania, that I did not enjoy. I will go back again, there is no doubt in my mind.

Vast and well maintained game parks with knowledgeable drivers. The infrastructure is good and yet you get a true wilderness experience.

For birding it is best to go to KZN, around St Lucia.

Even though I did not really expect anything in particular, because this was my first trip to Tanzania, I had the feeling, that our safari tour was organized in a way that was just perfect for a 12 days experience. It offered more then I had hoped for and I also felt absolutely safe in regards to the trucks, the excellent driver, the food and accomodation. People were so friendly wherever we stopped and I was also relieved that we did not need any vaccinations for Tanzania.

We wanted a private experience that was also affordable and Stainbok provided both.

The staff were well informed and trustworthy. We always felt safe and were thrilled to see so much game. We feel that the tour gave everything promised and would not hesitate to recommend it to friends.

Outstanding experience from start to finish
5/5

We booked our trip and communicated primarily through Emmanuel. He was well organized and extremely helpful. The process was well communicated and his follow through was accurate and timely. The personal touch offered by our guide "Peter" began at the airport and was evident throughout the trip. Each day was a fun and enlightening adventure. Peter knowledge of the mountain and his experience as a guide were sources of great confidence and learning. His team was well prepared and extremely accommodating. The summit night/day was awe inspiring and a memory I'll have forever. The entire trip was very well orchestrated and preceded smoothly from start to finish. We could not have had a better experience

Budget, short, but a complete safari experience
5/5

I took the 3 Days Masai Mara Camping Joining Safari. Esther was very attentive and responsive to emails. Kenya Budget Safaris work with experienced driver/ guide. Our driver/ guide, Patrick, has been leading safari tours for 10 years hence is very skilful in navigating the park and packaging a complete game drive. We not only saw wild animals but also witnessed their stories as they are developing in front of our eyes.

Amazing Experience
5/5

We first met Moses in 2011 when he was our guide at Selinda camp. We were really impressed by his knowledge and tracking of animals so when he started his own business we did not hesitate in booking a trip for our 10th wedding anniversary. Mobile camping was something new to us as we have only ever stayed in lodges. We need not have worried though everything was fine. We had an amazing time, the food cooked on a camp fire by Moses two was amazing, the best fillet of beef I have ever tasted. He even made us a chocolate cake for our wedding anniversary complete with 10 candles. Our anniversary lunch was a table for two complete with champagne on ice overlooking a hippo pool. Our camp crew Bros and Carlos made sure that we had everything we required and the camp was always beautifully set up when we arrived a a new reserve. Some people thought we were crazy sleeping in a tent in the bush. We did have hyena in most nights, a leopard and a lion but listening to the Hyena's outside made it all the more amazing. It is our intention to go back and travel to the Kalahari in the future. So if you fancy a few nights in the bush I can really recommend Moses and his team at Unlimited Tours and Safaris.
