Outstanding trip!!
I traveled solo to Tanzania in December 2016 and pre-arranged everything through Hello Tanzania. My travel consultant was Mwajabu. Everything was just outstanding!
I only had 8 days on the ground, so I did Zanzibar (Stone Town and Jambiani Beach) and Selous Game Reserve for safari.
Mwajabu was extremely helpful and knowledgeable.
Guides and airport pick ups were perfect.
Tours, flights and hotels were great!
I'd highly recommend their services.

Great Experience
We chose Kruger Park travel after reading a suggested itinerary on their website. We're very glad we did as Mike and Kylie were extremely helpful and efficient regarding personalising our trip and answering any questions that arose.
We did have a problem with our hotel booking but Mike was able to resolve the problem and suggested alternative accommodation at Kruger Park Lodge which was excellent and probably better than the original.
The whole experience was fantastic and the game drives exceeded expectations, as we were lucky enough to see the big five.
I would recommend using this company for their personal service and knowledge.
Many thanks Kylie and Mike

The most amazing safari guides we've encountered!
From the first moment we arrived in Hoedspruit we felt so welcomed and excited. 5 days of absolute Kruger bliss were about to begin! We were picked up by Bruce, his son and his friends who were all training to be safari guides at the time. We jumped in their open air jeep and enjoyed the drive to our new home for 5 nights. When we arrived I was blown away by the picturesque grounds and the accommodation. The room and ensuite was spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. The dining room, lounge and outdoor area were spectacular with their high ceilings, wooden rafters and the African decor made you remember what a special place you were in. We even had a giraffe wander by while we were sitting outside enjoying the lounges! Waking up early for a game drive, tea and rusks is the best way to start everyday! And then you end each evening with a sunset game drive. Bruce was full of wildlife knowledge and so was his son and friends. We loved having them along for the game drives too as it was great hearing them practising all of their animal and tracking studies. Game drive sunset drinks were an absolute highlight! I will never forget the atmosphere and the sounds of the African bush, one night the hippos and a leopard were taking in turns making their calls! We got to do some on foot tracking too which was so exhilarating!! One night we had just gone to bed and heard lions roaring in the distance, what an amazing sound. At night we would have the most amazing dinners, actually every meal was incredible! We ate so much and one morning we even got treated to impala livers as a side to our breakfast. We love trying new and interesting foods when traveling so this was a real treat. I remember stories by the campfire at night, reading from the amazing book collection during the day, watching animals wander by while lying in the sun, amazing elephant encounters, the list goes on!! Bruce and Judy were seriously the most amazing safari guides we have ever encountered and we have travelled through 11 African countries. They had endless knowledge of the bush and the animals but also welcomed us so lovingly for those 5 days that we felt like we were part of their family! We are so looking forward to returning one day and taking along our daughter this time!

Just Fantastic!
We were referred to Diwa by family and after a wonderful two weeks we can't help but feel that we wouldn't have been able to get this experience elsewhere. In two weeks we saw a natural wonder of the world in the Victoria Falls, we sighted all of the Big Five between Hwange, Vic Falls and Mana Pools and we were able to catch the mighty tigerfish which was memorable! Huge thanks to the team at Diwa...

Great to see that Joseph has now his own Business. We still remember the great safari tour he shares with us four years ago. Never is too late to thanks him. Merry Christmas and very good year for your 2017 next tours!

one of the most amazing experiences I've ever had
Me and 2 friends decided to book the safari with Northern Maasailand safaris for 5 days. The cook was very friendly and our meals were delicious. The driver/ guide was extremely knowledgeable and helpful, he made our experience very worthwhile since he shared valuable information about each place we were visiting and the respective habitat and animals in it. I highly recommend this company to anyone. We also got a very good deal for it. You will not be disappointed!!

Perfect Midrange trip to Uganda/Tanzania
I am super impressed with Matoke, that is why I am writing about them. I have been a travel consultant and freelance travel writer for over 37 years and have booked with countless operators for my clients and my friends. To start the communication was Outstanding. I worked with Manager Ilse and she was very clear in every thing she stated. She replied immediately and always in great depth with extreme clarity . This is important when you are working with a local operator and especially when there is limited Skype access....I trusted her every word and she was right with everything. The trip I booked was a "midrange" trip and it felt more like a Luxury high range trip. They work on a tiered program, so if you wanted to upgrade you could do it where you wanted to. I also have been to 22 countries in Africa through the last 44 years and I have booked and stayed in luxury, not my choice for a Safari and certainly NOT necessary, give those extra funds to the various NGO's empowering people's lives there.. Maktoke offers such quaint, cozy and clean well run properties, that they scout themselves. Their vehicles are clean, and well maintained. They partner with Easy Travel in Tanzania, a top notch operation in itself. The "Pearl of Africa" is Uganda, and the driving was perfect including offering Chimp and Gorilla tracking that anyone can do even disabled, they need to pay for a chair to be bring up and it is so worth the experience. The prices that most tour companies in the US offer for Africa are double the price. With Maktoke you can book directly and save about half the price, this makes Africa affordable. Also dealing with a Dutch company comes with organization and no stone unturned. Their tiered system of bookings is state of the art for Travel. Only a company that knows all of the properties can offer this. They are now offering trips to the Congo and to Madagascar. I am looking forward to putting my next group together for Madagascar.
