Great service
5/5

I shoopped around and African safaris tour Service was the most reasonable price coupled with the highest reviews. Booking the Nassau mara tour with this service turned out to be one of the best decisions we made of our entire trip!

Scheduling was very easy, just a few emails back and forth.

We were greeted punctually at our Serena hotel by driver Hezron. He was very courteous and professional. He ensured a safe trip throughout - we never once felt unnerved by his driving even though the roads themselves are a bit scary. The vehicle was clean, comfortable, and well-kept.

Hezron was a gold mine of information and help! When possible, he got us away from traffic and crowds, and got us to great scenic viewpoints. His shop and restaurant recommendations were all right-on and we had no issues at all. The lunch spot in Mahimahiu (and the seat he scored us, with an amazing view) was fantastic.

Hezron even helped me with my food allergies by writing up an Italian warning to pass along to any food server.

Hezron asked our interests and made sure that we had what we needed throughout the day. He helped steer us away from touristy or "middle-man" shops. He even called ahead to a restaurant back in Narok (for after our tour) and we experienced amazing food and service there.

Hezron rally knows his stuff and provides an incredible level of service. I would recommend this agency to anyone.

Professional and budget tour with good care till the end
4/5

We´re five friends looking for a budget tour to Serengeti y Gorongoro and we lived a very good experience thanks tu Meru Slopes Safari. They picked up in the airport, and from then they take care of everything. The lodging, the food, the safari, any wish you have the guide (Hillary) tried to get it. We were 5 days safari (plus first night in Arusha and last night in Moshi) and we enjoied a lot. We found a good climax in the camps with the rest of the groups at the end of every journey , and the facilities were good, taking into account we were in a budget trip. The only complain about our trip It´s the bad conditions of the public campsite in Serengeti about all the toilets althogh this is a bussiness of the tanzanian goberment. Also I recommended to include in the safari a day in the lake Natrom area, a friends of me did it and They got a closest sensantion of the massai people and land, even they made a morning walk to the flamingo lake.

Friendly, efficient service
5/5

Booking a wonderful vacation was made simple by the Zambezi Safari & Travel team. I was given a wide range of information and options to choose from, I told them what I wanted, and it was done. Upon arrival I found everything had been taken care of from transfers to safaris and day trips - all of which exceeded my expectations.

It was a life time experience. Our guide Lucas was very professional with a passion for the best .
5/5

Communication was excellent. Lucas was very caring and detailed. Plus all the drivers were very knowledgeable, too, and love to give us informations and stories. Hotels and tents were comfortable, food were very nutritious and tasty. I esp. love the fresh fruits, juices , and very nice soups.
Lucas and the drivers tried hard to take us to places in safari to see as much as possible of the animals and birds. And we did see lions eating a Cape buffalo , and storks , vultures eating left over of a zebra.., groups of zebras, buffalos, wild beasts, envelops..... very exciting experiences. And other cultural experiences such as dancing with the Masai people, visiting the bushmen and learn to bow arrow shooting form them, and dancing, hunting....
Generally speaking the trip met our expectations with some plus. Lucas kindly invited us to his home and gave us a wonderful feast/lunch.
We highly recommend this company and hope many more people will enjoy their service.

Fantastic trip and very well organised with great guides
5/5

It was our first trip to Africa and after doing some research we chose CKC Tours. All our queries were responded to promptly and any changes we made were done without any trouble. We spent 10 days in Tanzania and Kenya.
John met us at our hotel in Nairobi and reviewed our safari, then introduced us to Vincent, our guide. The whole trip went without a hitch and Vincent and our guide in Tanzania were very capable and extremely informative about the wildlife. We were also transferred across the border by other people who were also very efficient getting us through customs and to and from the necessary airports.
All the hotels and lodges were of a very high standard.
We have no complaints and would highly recommend this company.

5 Day Safari Trek in Kenya
5/5

We researched many Safari organizers, and settled with James at Arch Treks and Safaris. he was responsive, and we were seeking a semi-luxury tour. We had a single driver (David) for the entire week, and he was dedicated, knowledgeable and quite pleasant.
The ability to modify the tour, and keep it private for the three of us was truly important. I will use James' service again, and highly recommend his passion and knowledge.

Bushbuck Adventures personalised safaris East Africa! 5 Stars Put your trust in Bushbuck the best!
5/5

Review of Safari in Kenya October 2016 Bushbuck Adventures.
Once again Bushbuck Adventures excelled themselves as a fantastic Safari Operator in East Africa. It is our opinion, based on our experiences that you could not go past Bushbuck Adventures if seeking a proven operator to conduct your safari.
This Safari was our second with Bushbuck Adventures (the previous being in August and September 2014). We didn’t think it possible to improve on their performance in 2014 but Ken and his team have excelled once more in delivering to us the best ever experience with this Safari.
We are so impressed that we are already planning another Safari (our third with Bushbuck Adventures) as soon as possible and hopefully in 2017.
Like most travellers, we had in the beginning contacted a host of many different Safari operators in Kenya but chose Bushbuck Adventures because of their friendly and timely responses and their total honesty in an easy to deal with communications in planning our safari and working out the logistics, their time as an operator, bookings and costings. You get what you pay for in life and although not the most inexpensive or the most expensive Bushbuck Adventures have on both occasions delivered everything they promised and never ever over promised and under delivered. When travelling, we like others put our total trust in the operator and we can assure other travellers that Bushbuck Adventures are extremely experienced and most respected as long time operators who know their business.
Again we award them five stars!!
On our latest October 2016 Safari we chose a theme, ”Kenya, Past, Present and Future”.
Again we were seeking a private and personalised Safari with that adventurous element of getting close to the wildlife and seeing the big drawcard animals. We took well over five thousand photographs and are delighted with our images, many of which will be developed to high quality poster size and framed works that will decorate our home to bring Kenya home with us, forever.
Our experience was far from the package tour product and Ken at Bushbuck Adventures worked extremely hard over a long period of planning to accommodate our every wish for this special experience and life milestone for us.
Our busy Safari itinerary included a first night in the outskirts of Nairobi at a fantastic opening night in a luxurious tented camp. Wow, we were so spoilt after our series of very long flights and stopover/connections from regional Australia through the Middle East to finally onto Kenya.
We were met at the Nairobi airport by Ken (personally) and his Bushbuck Adventures team. What great service, we love them!!
Our Safari began by taking us to an historic and exclusive Nairobi Members Club for a prearranged visit and then off to the Kenyan Central Highlands for a history lesson and The Aberdares National Park, with some adventurous walks and much wildlife, waterfalls and a bush lunch. Overnight was a treat at The famed “Treetops” Lodge, which was unforgettable and historic.
We then set off driving north to the fringe of the arid northern region of Kenya with Mount Kenya views along the way and finally arrived at Buffolo Springs National Reserve with much unique to the north, wildlife and an appreciation of Kenyan life in the northern and Sambura areas of Kenya. These regions are often overlooked by travellers and we recommend the region as a “must see” to more understand the full picture of Kenya. Sure, the Masai Mara is arguably unsurpassed in the sheer numbers of wildlife that can be seen and the “migration” if you are lucky but there is also much more to Kenya that you might consider if on a second safari to Kenya or have the time to add variety. You won’t be disappointed!
Our Safari saw us wind our way back to Nairobi and then after a night “in town” and a bit of five starring in a plush and historic central hotel to “wash the dust off”. We headed on to Mombasa on the coast by Kenya Airways with Mt Kilimanjaro views and great on board service. There we were met by the Bushbuck Adventures Mombasa team and enjoyed time at a Coastal Beach Resort including coral reef exploring, boat trips, the marine park, beach walks and “cocktails”. Food and Service….five stars of course!
Mombasa highlights were explored including the historic Fort Jesus, Old Mombasa Town Portuguese area, the fabulous Haller Park (where even though the wildlife can be seen in the parks and reserves, this park lets you get closer to the wildlife than in the wild).
Then it was adventure time for the journey through Kenya back to Nairobi on the famed train overnight from Mombasa to Nairobi, known as the Uganda Railway or “Lunatic Line”. This rail service is being replaced shortly with a new line and service to take Kenya into the future and this opportunity gave us a chance to experience the historic old train and its role in opening Kenya in the early 1900’s. As railway and history fans this was a highlight of our Safari.
Safely back in Nairobi we explored the city centre, The National Museum, The Snake Park, The Railway Museum and took in the views of Nairobi and surrounds from the Kenya International Conference Centre tower! Again we were treated to some luxury at The Fairmont Norfolk Hotel, which was well earned and important to experience as this world famous hotel has over the years played a centre stage role in the history of Kenya.
Serious Safari time now arrived and we then headed out in earnest for a seven day tour of Tsavo East and West National Parks and Amboseli National Park. Elephants and more elephants, every form of wildlife, fascinating and wonderful people, red dust and fine scenery….Africa at its best, all in Kenya!!!
We were most often under the shadows of snow-capped Kilimanjaro as a magnificent backdrop. Fine lodges at night and excitement every moment of every day..…”who knows what we might see….and we did”!
Our memorable Safari took us finally back to Nairobi where we stayed at the wonderful Karen Blixen Cottages in Karen and visited the nearby (Out of Africa), Karen Blixen Museum, took on a last adventure in Kenyan and world prehistory by journeying out to the Rift Valley and visiting the world famed Olorgasailie prehistoric dig site to learn and discover for ourselves “early human beginnings” right here in Kenya where it all began. This excursion is a little testing in the conditions of the area but well worth it and for us it was “a life changing” and very worthwhile part of our Safari and its theme “Kenya, Past, Present and Future”.
We ended our time with a visit to the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust and the Elephant Orphanage and a bit of “sleuthing” by retracing the steps and scene of the Lord Erroll demise of 1941 and landmarks associated with “the white mischief’ tales still able to be found in Karen, today.
On the final morning of our Safari we enjoyed a poolside team breakfast prior to delivering us safely to the airport with Ken and our Bushbuck Adventures Safari Team and a surprise birthday cake and celebration farewell, they had even found that it was my birthday approaching and provided an unforgettable and very moving finale to our adventure in Kenya 2016.
My reviews are long, yes, but if you are considering a wonderful Safari in Kenya this detail will assist you in making your decisions and I cannot recommend more highly any operator other than Bushbuck Adventures for your Safari.
The Safari was extremely well run and organised, Ken and his team had considered and delivered upon every detail and were always there to jump in and assist with any minor problem. They are experienced and very professional. Our troop carrier Safari vehicle was perfect for the task and our fully accredited Guide (Simon) and trusty driver (Edward) were not only our A Team but our very best of friends throughout the Safari in every way. Thank you Bushbuck Adventures! They were flexible, accommodated our every wish and great company. They made our time so special.
All of our expectations were yet again surpassed and I highlight as before the communication, the meals (fabulous and beyond expectation), the levels of service, transport, Safari and personal security, knowledge and commentary and “spotting” and most of all value for money!
We again highly recommend Bushbuck Adventures to any traveller wanting a personal and tailored Safari Adventure in East Africa.
We will be going back again for more!
Our heartfelt thanks to Ken Bacia of Bushbuck Adventures for planning and arranging this Safari and again for his personalised service and dedication. Ken can arrange mobile Safaris for any size group, walking Safaris and even have a Masai Mara specialised camp. They have 4WD Safari vehicles, tour vans and camping equipment and can provide any format of Safari required and can deliver a tailored Safari of any level to suit your specific requirements.
Choose Bushbuck Adventures for your Safari!

School trip to Tanzania where we visited local schools, orphanages, tribes, and went on safari!
5/5

I had an amazing time in Tanzanian with Sunny Adventure Safaris! Our guides always made sure everything was up to our expectations and that we were as comfortable as possible. Our schedule for each day was clearly communicated so we always knew exactly what we were doing each day. The guides were so knowledgeable when we were on safari and would gladly answer any questions I had. Sunny Adventure Safaris provides and excellent service and really makes you feel as welcome as possible!

Lion Kill, Cheetah Kill and Hyena Kill, along with everything else we saw! Amazing!
Overall rating
5/5

This was an amazing DAY in The Mara. We saw all this in one day. And did I mention a Black Rhino sighting? Yes. We saw one of the 27ish Black Rhinos in the park. To many birds, flora and fauna to list. I loved the parks I've been to in Tanzania (The Selous & Ruaha), but for shear numbers and volume, The Mara is hands-down the best. Richie is a cool guy, just don't get into a political discussion with him. He's very bright and speaks several languages. He is also, apparently, the best cheetah spotter in the Serengeti ecosystem. Cheers!!!
