Excellent planning and organization for the trip of a life time
I chose Benson Safaris to organize our safari because of the company's excellent online reviews and his prompt and thorough communications in initially planning the trip; every email I sent Benson was replied to the next day (which is immediate given the time difference between Tanzania and the USA).
We did a safari tour as well as a few days on the beach in Zanzibar. Benson lived up to his positive reviews and exceeded our expectations at every point in planning the trip.
Our safari guide, Richard, was with us for five full days and really made the trip amazing and special. He was knowledgeable, friendly, great to talk with, and knows the parks and the wildlife extremely well. He navigated us thorough the parks with a deft alacrity that kept the trip exciting and entertaining at every moment. Richard showed us all the big five and we saw few cheetahs with a kill and a pride of lions with a kill -- totally amazing to see. The safari camp accommodations were uniformly awesome -- the safari camps in the bush were surprisingly well appointed and the hotels in the cities were really posh, in every place the food was great.
In Zanzibar, everything was handled very well. Hotel pick ups and transit around the island was seamless and perfectly taken care of. Again similar to our safari experience, Benson placed us in great locations with amazing views, activities and staff.
Throughout all the planning, choosing various options for the trip, and then during the trip Benson was available and responsive and a model of superb customer service.
In short, if you are looking for an amazing trip in Tanzania and Zanzibar; Benson is your man. I would recommend him to anybody looking for a quality trip to see one of the most amazing experiences in the world.
Thanks Benson, you made this trip more amazing than we had expected.

Don't expect too many animals during the wet season
In general, Etosha seems to be a great park to go to. The facilities were good, camping was fun and the scenery is just lovely. As we went there in the wet season of February, Etosha was very green, with plenty of water everywhere, so finding animals was very hard, even for our nice and very experienced guides. We did end up with a few sightings though, highlighted by a young leopard, who was drinking some water in the middle of the road. We saw plenty of giraffes, ostriches and springbok, but the rhinos were unfortunately hiding! It was fun to spot birds and also smaller animals like honey badgers, even though hard when the car was moving. I can definitely recommend going there, but would personally try again in dry season!

Absolutely fantastic experience and feel so privileged to have had the experience
We arrived to beautiful weather, many friends told me it could be cold at this time of year, but it was cool on the early game drive, but soon warmed up. Kruger was a fantastic experience and cannot explain how privileged we feel to have seen the big 5!
Our guides were fantastic and knew the park so well. Kruger is twice the size of Wales in the uk.
Dress with layers, like an onion and you'll do fine in kruger. There are blankets on the Jeep to keep you warm.

Great 7-day safari
I did a 7-day tour with Safari Line Defender covering Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, and Amboseli National Park. It was a fantastic and positive experience. Rose was quite helpful as soon as I booked, constantly keeping me informed and asking how she could help. She even got me a discounted hotel booking and arranged all the airport taxis. The safari itself was busy and well planned. We had a very good guide, Patrick "Papa". He was knowledgeable, warm and very patient. All the arrangements worked well. The main issues in my safari were the state of the roads leading to the Maasai Mara and the traffic jams to Amboseli (between Nairobi and Mombasa). These need to be factored into all plans, but they are Kenya Government issues rather than the fault of the safari company. The campsites (at Maasai Mara and Amboseli) and the hotels at Nakuru and Naivasha were as expected for a budget tour. This was my first time in Kenya and it is a beautiful country, blessed with great wildlife and natural resources. Thanks Rose and Patrick for a great experience and I would definitely recommend this company.

BEST TRIP EVER!!!
We saw so all of the BIG 5 and more. We got National Geographic worthy pictures. 5 Star service and Excellent Luxury accommodations. Trip of a lifetime!!

Safari dreams beautifully met by Flash- beyond our dreams!!!
While examining an overload of safari tour company sites and getting high price quotes I was becoming discouraged. Then I saw several references to Flash Safaris. I sent our desired itinerary along with a request for a modest budget and received an almost immediate reply from Magda. She was always professional, detailed and quick to respond. Although I requested places to stay she made suggestions for alternatives based on her experience. We went with those and were pleased we did so. We were four adults with special food and medical requirements which she made certain would be accommodated.
Magda met us at the airport, picked us up the following day at her suggestion and escorted us around Arusha markets- beyond the call of duty! We also met her business partner Edward, a native Tanzanian whose conversational English is very proficient, who took us to the airport.
I had told her I was interested in a guide who knew and would stop for birds. No problem. Every day of our 18 days, 11 on a slow paced safari and 7 in Zanzibar, was a marvel thanks to Magda's advice plus our excellent safari driver/guide Abraham. Our wishes were always graciously accommodated by him.
Her personal service, genuine friendliness and ability to meet and exceed our expectations will long be appreciated!!! This is an extremely reliable, ethical small company. Do not hesitiate to book with Flash!!!!

Great Safari
On our 7 day safari with Regional Tours in November we visited Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro national parks. Our guide Harun did a great job and we had a great safari. We saw a great number of animals. All the accomodations were excellent. The best one was in Serengeti (Kubu Kubu lodge) where we could watch wild animals right from our balcony. During the night we could hear a lion, hyennas and buffalos. An unforgettable experience.
