Full budget safari
Safari through 3 national parks (Masai Mara, Nakuru and Amboseli) costing less than 800 dollars. Everything included in this experience: accommodation, food, water, entrance fees to the parks and travel distances, which are far away. The agency team spoke to me all the time to make sure everything was ok. The only negative point was with the first driver, who did not check the car properly, and we had to stop on the road to check the brakes. Furthermore, he drove irresponsibly, and while overtaking improperly, he tore the tire, so we had to change cars. Super Eagle immediately provided another one. The first car was also full of cockroaches, which shows that proper cleaning was not done. I emphasize that this was not under super eagle's control, and when informed she quickly resolved all issues. I highly recommend this company for a safari in Kenya.

Great price/value however hard to get complete answers from agency before hand
Great guide (Jeff ❤️), we felt safe on the road and Jeff made his best for us to see all animals on the safari! Price/value great, however I struggled to get quick and complete answers from the agency beforehand.

Jeff was the best operator one could wish for! Expert with animals and the roads, funny & patient <3
Overall experience was amazing, we had an amazing Operator Jeff and his 4x4 named «Spy girl » drove us really easily through the Safari. We got in advance all Infos about the tour and there are possibilities to upgrade Hotels.
We had the Chance to do different Safaris, in 4x4 (Masai Mara & Nakuru), Boat (Naivasha) and bicycle (Hell’s Gate). Nakuru was for me a bit less impressive than the rest.
We felt really safe during the whole tour - just make sure not to go out alone in the Masai at 12am as you might hear Hyenas really close by ;-). Every hotels were clean, and people gentle, and we had own showers and toilets everywhere. The Mara Lenchada Camp was a bit more Basic than the rest, but ok for 2 nights.
All people were gentle during the tour.
I totally recommand it for the price.
Thank you so much Jeff for this amazing experience.

Outstanding
We got a few offers from different operators and leasure escapes was by far the most professional proposal for timeliness, details and visual representation. First I wondered if they would put a price premium for the professional visual offer but actually it was the most competitive among the offers that we got. Later I had to change a few things like dates and upgrade to a better category etc which was quite smooth and professional. The tour was well organized and everything was inline with plan, no surprises. We were happy with our accomodation choices and the tour guide/driver was always on time and flexible to accomodate our needs. Highly recommended. Thanks

Honest, Reliable, Dependable, Detailed Oriented, Professional, Knowledgeable,
Sedrick was fantastic to work with from the moment I sent him an email and then having various phone conversations to create our custom two week itinerary in Uganda and Kenya. He is detailed orientated, keeps track of you during your international travels and adventure which made me feel confident and secure everything would go well or be taken care of along the way! In addition, he was able to accommodate an usual request to drive me to the family I am sponsoring three children through school in a village off the beaten path. He help made a “dream” come true. It was amazing. I felt safe and secure with his drivers/guides the entire two weeks. His drivers were great drivers especially since many of the roads are dirt, mud and potholes. Both our Ugandan and Kenyan guides spoke great English, were dependable, professional, knowledgeable and easy to be with. They made our experience safe and enjoyable. Sedrick is honest and trustworthy! There is no guarantee who you are working with when making plans half way across the world and not knowing who you are getting on the internet! I would highly recommend Ngoni Safaris without a doubt!!!

The unforgettable experience!!
It was a wonderful 6 days. The game drive in the vast grassland was an unforgettable memory. Our guide, Andrew(Kamau) was friendly and so attentive. He drove carefully so we could see animals well and had a lot of knowledge about animals and geography. And he was our best Swahilis teacher. :) Kenya has become a special country because of him and Moran. I hope to visit again soon. I highly recommend Moran tours !! Asante sana, MORAN !

Very good safari
We had a very good experience doing safari with Meektrails.
We fully recommend our guide Samwell who does his best to make the experience go as smoothly as possible.
We took a package including Lake Naivasha, Nakuru and Masai Mara, all three locations are very good.
The hotels were all excellent including the food, especially the Masai Mara one, however, the Nakuru one, even though is very good, is too remote.
Our advice would be to discuss all details prior to the safari to tailor the experience to your tastes, Meektrails Safaris are available to discuss/change any points as needed.
What we would do different:
- Take a Jeep not a minivan; even though it's more expensive, it's worth it seeing the time you spend in it and the quality of the roads.
- At Zebra lodge, for an extra fee, you can have a Savannah side lodge which has a view on the animals directly instead of a hillside lodge
- Be sure to go at a time where there are no chance of rain, we had a few hurdles due to unexpected rain for the season.
- Take more days in Masai Mara (we had 1 day/game drive)
Overall we highly recommend Meektrails and especially Samwell!
the +:
- Samwell our guide, who is very professional and kind
- Zebra lodge hotel in Masai Mara
the -:
- The Masai village visit was too rushed and very expensive (not included in the price)
Wonderful Serengeti safari
We just came back from a wonderful safari experience. Paul was great at organising everything and the Suricata team were wonderful. Our guide was Max and he was brilliant, so much knowledge about the animals! We didn’t expect much in terms of the food but our chef Salim really went the extra mile and cooked incredible meals throughout our stay. Overall the trip was just perfect, highly recommend!

Friendly, accommodating and trustworthy with knowledge and respect for the animals and environment
What an incredible trip! From start to finish everything was perfection and truly the best trip we have been on.
Our trip was from Nairobi to Ol Pejeta to Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara to Amboseli then back to Nairobi in 6 days. This was a complex itinerary that not many other companies were able to accommodate but Papa John was happy to organise this for us. Having never booked a trip like this before, the booking process made us slightly apprehensive as we had to pay a large portion of the cost up front by bank transfer directly to Camptrek. However, John kept up good communication throughout the period leading up to the trip via email and WhatsApp, helping us to prepare, which was very reassuring and helpful.
We were collected punctually from our hotel in Nairobi the morning we were due to set off (Papa John and our driver, also called John were 15 minutes early). Papa John confirmed all our trip details and we paid the rest of the money which we felt very comfortable about, with no rushing or pressure. We were given some wonderful merch before we set off with John for our adventure.
Me and my partner booked a jeep to ourselves which was a great experience as we were one on one with our driver and could have some flexibility throughout the day. The jeep was spacious, comfortable and we had lots of water provided. We had packed breakfasts from each accommodation we stayed at and had lunches at our accommodation, so never felt hungry.
Our driver, John, is a fantastic driver who safely transported us on our long drives between locations and taught us so much about the areas we traveled through. On one of the days our jeep malfunctioned (very common due to the bumpy game drives) and we were quickly collected by a new driver, David, to continue our trip. David was equally fantastic and informative and we always felt safe through our whole trip.
We booked mid level accommodation which turned out to be better than we had imagined it would be. We stayed in a mixture of hotels, log cabins and tented cabins. The locations were fantastic (on the edge of the parks so we were still in nature and also only a short drive to the daily game drives), the staff were friendly and the food was varied and tasty.
The highlight, of course, was the game drives. John and David were always early to collect us from our accommodation to take us to the game drives. Both John and David were incredibly knowledgable and respectful of all the wildlife, the parks and the people who care for them. We saw all the animals we had hoped to see (we even saw a lioness hunting!) and never once felt like we were encroaching on the animals space or making them feel stressed. It was wonderful to be with drivers who are so passionate about caring for this incredible ecosystem.
During our Masai Mara game drive we got engaged and John captured perfect photos of the moment then took us to eat our packed lunch with an amazing view of the park - a moment we will treasure for the rest of our lives.
At the end of our safari, we were safely dropped back to the Nairobi train station with plenty of time to spare, and shown how to collect our train tickets that Papa John had booked for us, to continue our trip in Kenya.
Overall we cannot fault the professionalism and care of the Camptrek Safari team and want to thank you all for the trip of a lifetime. We will definitely be back!
