Supurb Gorilla Trek with Encounter Africa
5/5

I worked with Chris in the office to set up the Trek and Patrick was my Guide. Working with both were highlights of the package and I would not hesitate to work with them in the future.

I was pleased with Uganda and would return. It was a short trip down from Ethiopia where I had been on a photo safari for Ethiopian Wolves.

I stayed at Papyrus Guest House in Entebbe, Broadbill Forest Lodge in Bwindi Park, and Bird Nest Cottages in Lake Bunyonyi. I traveled solo but shared the Gorilla Trek with another traveler to downward adjust the costs. The star of the lodging experience was the Broadbill. Basic, but very clean with hot water available on demand. The personality of the owner and staff pushed the Broadbill to the top. I am not a luxury traveler, although I could be, but I prefer a more simple approach - they nailed it. Papyrus and Bird Nest were more than adequate and I was comfortable at those accommodations as well. I had been tent camping at 4,000m in Ethiopia, therefore, the comforts at the Broadbill, and menu, were sincerely appreciated.

The Gorilla Trek was fantastic and well worth the effort. A very professionally run experience!

Do it!

Awesome camping safari
5/5

I had such a great time on my safari. There were three of us, and we did a private three night camping safari. If you are looking for everything to go perfectly then look elsewhere. But if you are looking for a true African experience, are willing to be flexible and looking to have fun this company is definitely the way to go. I enjoyed not only learning about the animals but also learning about the Batswana people. Would highly recommend.

About: RA Safaris
Amazing experience
5/5

This trip was better than I ever could have imagined! Everything was planned perfectly, from the accommodations, transportation, food, and overall service. The guides were knowledgeable of all the animals we were able to see, and willing to answer every question (no matter how many times we asked the same question). Our two guides went above and beyond to ensure we saw everything, and got the most out of the experience. This experience exceed all of my expectations, and I would highly recommend RA Safaris to anyone who is even considering the trip!

Excellent, reliable partner to plan you travel through Namibia
5/5

We have spent 3-weeks traveling around Namibia (6000 km). The trip has been organized by Allison from The Cardboard Box Travel Shop. Everything was perfectly arranged - car rental with great insurance package, trip plan, all accommodation. I can fully recommend The Carboard Box as a reliable partner and Allison in particular as a person fully engaged, very helpful as long as planning is concerned and giving a timely response whenever asked.

Fantastic Safari !
5/5

A few years ago, we spent a few days with Rob, our guide, in the Duba concession of the Northern Okavango Delta.
It was just unbelievable and unforgettable!!
Rob is completely passionate, he knows the bush very well, and he wanted to show us everything!
We spent some fantastic hours with him such as early mornings with some beautiful birds or some big lions sleeping, late afternoons in the middle of thousands of buffalos in some magic sundown lights, and even late evenings, under the stars, in the middle of millons of fireflies, or very close to the lions mating.
And we will never forget the lioness swimming across the river!
This was not our first experience of Africa, we have been traveling through Southern Africa several times, but we will keep this safari in our minds like a wonderful dream !
And we are really looking forward to coming back one day.
Thank you Rob!

Once in a lifetime Safari
5/5

From the first phone conversation with Encompass Africa, I could feel their passion about Africa and their enthusiasm to tailor make the perfect safari / holiday for us. They listened carefully to all our needs, enquired about what we had seen or done before in Africa, what we liked and did not like from previous experiences, etc, and were very eager to learn exactly what we wanted to get out of this experience. They came back very quickly with various unique options in different price ranges, through a personalized webpage that we could access from home. This website with "our" safari options was so professionally made and had all the details that one could think of (I actually struggled to find some questions to ask after reading it all). There was lots of photos, maps, detailed info on the accommodation, transfers, etc. but it was also very concise and easy to read. It made the preparation of our trip so much more exciting! We chose an option out of the two, selected some dates, and Encompass Africa organized all the flights, accommodation, transfers, etc. (including Durban for the Comrades Marathon that I was going to run before the safari). They notified us promptly of some special prices on flights as well. They were very flexible and it was easy to reach them by email, on the phone or in person at their office. The whole trip went awesomely smoothly and we enjoyed every minute. The safari that they organized for us was a once in a lifetime experience with close encounters with animals in their natural habitat in a camp where wildlife is the main focus and where the rangers are very knowledgeable and very friendly. We have only been back for two weeks, but are already talking to Encompass Africa about next year!

Fantastic safari
5/5

My friend organised a last minute (1 week before arrival) 5 night/6 day safari with Southern Valley. She found them to be incredibly polite and friendly.
The safari itself was a brilliant experience and very memorable. We went to Samburu, Aberdares, Lake Nakuru and Masai Maara for the last two nights. Each place was unique and accommodations in all the national parks was clean, comfortable with hospitable staff.
Our guide Edwin was also excellent, friendly and approachable. He made this safari a memorable experience.

A wonderful trip with an excellent company!!!
5/5

We contacted Lindo Travel Co. Ltd and we've got immediately an answer. We had no idea what we should visit and see in Tanzania. But Lindo Travel Co. Ltd organized and prepared a wonderful and individually trip for us. The guide Stephan is very competent and for him it was important that we feel comfortable about doing the trip. He was always kind and very funny. Besides he knew every tree and animal we saw. He managed the whole trip, so we just could enjoy it.
He brought us to ngorongoro, mount Kilimanjaro, Tarangire and etc. It was a great experience! Furthermore he gave us some insider tips, so he showed us some places where tourists normally don't go to. So we got to know some special places but also the culture and people of Tanzania. It was a special trip! We noticed that Stephan loves his country and for him it's important to show the beauty and the special features of his Tanzania! We will never forget this trip and we hope to come back and meet him again! Thanks for being our fantastic guide!
