Ngorongoro day trip - great!
5/5

We booked our day trip to Ngorongoro by e-mail. John replied quickly and did a good offer. When we were in Arusha, John picked up the tour money and the next day exactly on time 'China' was there with a good vehicle to drive us to Ngorongoro. Once in the crater, he communicated with his fellow guides to make sure we saw as much animals closeby as possible. What a great place! The (vegetarian) lunchboxes were very nice: veggies, potatoe, egg, bread, cakes and drinks. We had a amazing carefree time! Thank you.

Great and individual!
5/5

The tours were phenomenal. The staff was always helpful and fulfilled every wish. Therefore, I recommended it to all of my friends. Our stations were Budongo and Murchison Falls (along with a delegation of an NGO and a school)

Great people, very well organised, excellent in tailoring to individual needs
5/5

We met Denver by coincidence and asked him to organise a 5 day-trip for us to Lower Zambezi and Siavonga very last minute. Last minute as in we wanted to leave the same day. Despite this challenge, Den's Safari organised it all very well and very quickly. What we especially appreciated was that he went out of his way to arrange for us to experience local village life. We visited a small village, got to participate in the day-to-day activities and stayed the night. It was a humbling experience which taught us a lot about local culture and living circumstances. It was fun that Denver and his colleague cooked up a big dinner for many of the people in the village.
We also spent a few nights at the Lower Zambezi, including a 1-day, 1 night canoe trip. It was special to share the river with lots of hippos and crocs so close by.
Overall, Denver and the guides were simply great guys to be around; super friendly, explained a lot about nature and culture and took care of us very well. Highly recommended!

Utter remoteness in this vast park yet still close encounters ensued.

I travelled with my family to stay at the Busanga Plains camp, a fly camp of Mukambi. The six hour drive from the lodge to Busanga was a true African experience. Although we had little time to stop and digest the animals (we were on a schedule) and were subjected to the traditional African massage, we saw a vast array of mammals and birds and the drive's length just cemented how remote our camp was.
The bush camp was incredible, from the restaurant terrace several hundred red lechwe could be seen grazing and perhaps a dozen fish eagles screeching, truly a wonder. The tents provided everything we needed, obviously being a temporary camp it was nothing on the main lodge but it was fulfilled our needs perfectly. The food also was fantastic. Waking up first thing in the morning and sitting in the restaurant watching the lechwe in the low mist is a truly magical experience that I would recommend to any animal lover.
The drives were top notch; the Busanga lions are the most beautiful I have seen, with fantastic dark manes. We were lucky to get close to a fresh buffalo kill and watch them interact. We encountered great herds of Roan, wildebeest, zebra and a few bachelor elephants amongst others. For the purists, we did not encounter another vehicle on our trip, a true indication of our remoteness and allowed all these sightings to be personal. Our guide was excellent, very knowledgable and worked tirelessly to track down the species my siblings wanted for their tick-lists.
A great destination.

Zambia is a destination that has everything for everyone. From the novice safari goer to the experienced. The wealth of biodiversity and the level of knowledge from the guides is exceptional.

A Day Trip to Akagera National Park
5/5

This trip exceeded our expectations, not just because Akagera is a beautiful place, but also because Frank is a remarkable person. His customer care is impeccable. He is polite, considerate and knowledgeable. Very conversant in English and not imposing in the least.

We were picked up in a luxurious 4x4 at about 630am from Kigali and then driven about 2 hours to Akagera while we chatted with Frank. Conversation flowed well and wasn't strained in the least.

Really appreciated the fact that the one quoted price that we paid was all we paid that day. Hassle and fuss free! Not to mention, His rates are very reasonable for the quality of service we received.

After a brief introduction to the park and a very nice breakfast, we were whisked off for a day of fun. Frank is an excellent driver and his contacts in the guiding industry (at no additional cost) really brought the whole experience alive for us. They told us stories about the place and interesting facts about the flora and fauna. It's surprising how much you can learn on a safari!

Frank and our guide went above and beyond during the drive. The fun part was that despite having done this over a hundred times, Frank still has a sense of wonder about him, and that makes him go beyond the call of duty to serve his clients. He understands their excitement and wants them to receive the best possible experience.

We spent a considerable time looking for a great tour company and now that we've experienced what we eventually decided on, we just know we made the right choice. If you're looking for a great day out in Rwanda, look no further. Frank and his team are a great option. And who knows, you might even have found a new Rwandese FRiEND at the end of the day.

Unforgettable!

We have just returned from a trip with Pieter Mostert of Blue Sky Namibia. I can recommend him without reserve! Uncomplicated and full of fun where every aspect of your tour has been thought out!
