Amazing Safari - Amazing Meals - Amazing Hosts
5/5

What you see on the website is what get (only better)! Our group of 15 (8 adults 7 kids) from Canada got picked up from our hotel in Jo-Burg and to our amazement all of our luggage fit in the vehicles. The truck was roomy, comfy and offered great game viewing due to it's height and huge windows. Both Chris and Nicky accomadated all our requests which were plentiful due to our large group. Both were pleasant, knowledge and extremely hardworking. Chris was very meticulous and organized which made our trip run smoothly. We heard that the food was good, but is was delicious! Chris was a gourmet chef and prepared more than enough for us for each meal. All of the camping supplies (tents, chairs, pillows etc) were in excellent condition. I would definitely recommend this company to everyone. Thanks for the amazing experience!

Outstanding Safari Experience
5/5

I chose option - three days in a tent. I prefer to have a contact with nature than luxury hotels. Great service - and special thanks to FJ, who showed tremendous professionalism. Great food! Fantastic Dinner times - super delicious local cuisine and wine (good chief). Great evening atmosphere. Tents were too luxurious :) comfortable beds and AC plugs (camera and phone - with full bars service - optional internet in the restaurant in Sukuza) Safari games in small groups so You dont need to worry about seats. Safari is based on luck so I had a good luck. Big 5 checked + Leopard killing Impala next to us!!! Next time I will stay longer. For a last day I recomend Blyde River Canyon!!! The most beautiful Canyon I've ever seen in my life. Great scenic route. I would definitely recommend Safari Outlook.

Safari - the easy way
5/5

From the first moment we contacted Encompass things were superb. They helped choose where to go based on animals we wanted to see while accommodating specific places we wanted to go as well. All the staff were incredibly knowledgeable & helpful. We booked a 5 week private safari so were constantly travelling (mostly by landcruiser). The guides we had were amazing in finding animals for us. Accommodation was mostly safari tents but extremely well appointed. Food was terrific. We had a superb time & Encompass made it so easy to book & enjoy. Highly recommended

Top choice!
5/5

We chose Aardvark because they are a local company and their price was by far the best.
The company was great to deal with and they always responded very promptly and thoroughly to our queries.
The trek itself was spectacular. Our guide had a great knowledge of the mountain and plants and made sure that we were well looked after. The food and porters were outstanding and we really enjoyed the experience.
Two tips if you are climbing Kili, read the equipment list on the website and make sure you are well prepared. And secondly, remember that you'll be required to tip the crew at the end of the trip so take some money with you! It works out to about $250-300 pp. This is standard for most companies and a great way to reward to crew for all their hard work!

Highly Recommended Local Safari Company
5/5

We did a Budget Safari Camping Tour (7 days, 6 nights) with Aardvark in Dec 2014-Jan 2015. We visited 4 National Parks (Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara) and were overall very pleased with the trip! We chose to have one extra day in Serengeti (total 3 nights), which we highly recommend!

We were two couples travelling together in our own safari vehicle (private tour). We stayed in tents of good quality with comfortable mattresses. The campsites chosen by Aardvark were very good (especially the one in Serengeti, which was small and quite) – always very close to the real wildlife!

The vehicle was equipped with a power inverter (for charging cameras), which came very handy with all the photographing ☺ We had some minor problems with the car, but Julius, the driver, always managed to fix it quickly.

Julius (guide and driver) and Moses (cook) made up a really great duo. They took great care of us all week and really made the trip a memorable and fun experience for us. Julius was very knowledgeable and told us a lot about the different animals as well as the culture of Tanzania, although a bit quieter so we had to ask many questions. Thanks to him we managed to see plenty of animals and all the “Big Five”! We appreciated his responsibility, both towards animals and other tourist groups, and he always drove safely. Moses cooked very tasteful food and also taught us Swahili throughout the trip. He always had a smile on his face and spread a friendly atmosphere.

We would highly recommend Aardvark as a local, trustworthy and knowledgeable safari tour operator! Philemon (the manager) was always very accommodating and patiently answered all the questions that we had prior to our trip. He also met up with us at our hotel the night before the Safari to go through the itinerary and answer any questions - a nice and professional gesture. The trip turned out to be just as stated in the itinerary we received when booking 7 months earlier. The safari trip with Aardvark exceeded our expectations!

A magnificent holiday
5/5

Me and my friends has been to Tanzania for a safari which we arranged together with Selma, we told her what we would like to see and she made us an trip proposal. A few things we changed from the proposal and that's no problem at all for Selma (Makasa). All of our contact went throughout email and i must say she is always quick in answering the email.
We went out for a 8 Day safari, Tarangire National Park, Ndutu, Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Crater.
During our safari we stayed in Lodges but also in a Tented Camp in Serengeti, what a special place to be ! Surrounded by nature and the wild animals , you become a part of Serengeti , indescribable how beautiful iT is . Our guide Kaliby has done a really good job, amazing how much he knew about the flora and fauna, we have seen amazing coulered birds and mostly he knew the name, and otherwise he looked it up in his, what we called it, 'Birds and animal Bible' . Kaliby is a modest patient guy who could tell a lot about Tanzania's nature and wildlife, we have been very lucky with him , every time when we saw something special and we have seen many !! , he took his time to spend at the place to be. All days except the transfer days were planned in consultation. We have had a great memorable safari in Tanzania, thanks to Makasa Tanzanian Safari's !!
So for those still searching for the right Safari Tour organization i highly recommend, Makasa Tanzanian Safari's.

great experience
5/5

very good tour, very animal friendly-for us its very important, we are vegan and love animals, the kruger park is very friendly to the animals, it feels like it´s their home, not the home of the visitors.

A travel agency to remember! Everything ok accomodation, transport, food, guiding.....
5/5

We made a trip in Uganda and Tanzania with Matoke tours a tour operator from the netherlands. There isn't a thing I could say that was wrong about this trip. It was an amazing holiday: Uganda was so beautiful and untouched by tourism. The gorilla's were the max but also the country itself had much of beauty to offer. And also the guide big Sam was amazing. We learned a lot of the country from him. The accomodations were very beautiful and the locations well choosen. The food was always very tastfull, and there was always an alternative for the vegetariers of our group.
In Tanzania they worked together with Easy Travel, they did also a good job, plenty of food, good driver and guide, beautiful accomodations even in the middle of the Serengeti in very luxurious tents amids the lions and other wildlife
We saw the big 5 and the 5 ugly ones, and so many more. And at the end our journey ended in Zanzibar, where we could choose our location and Fumba Beach was really a quiet and relaxing place, with amazing food.
Really a very recommended travel agency Matoke Tours with thanks to Yorinda in the Netherlands who arranged everything with a smile!!!!

African adventure
5/5

This was my second Safari booked to Tanzania with Safarihub, I did the Northern circuit a few years ago and always wanted to check out Southern Tanzania as I had heard so much about it. Everything fitted perfectly for the entire itinerary and the hotels and lodges were spot on. We however did get stuck in a river crossing for 4 hours, but hey that is what a Safari is all about.
