Our holiday of a lifetime - thanks to Calabash Adventures
5/5

Before we landed in Kenya to our departure, the service, support, organisation and expertise were excellent.

We sent our desired itinerary to Calabash and they came back with that and even more. This was my husbands and my first long haul adventure and I must say we were excited and a little daunted as to what to expect. But Calabashes organisational skills and expertise were apparent right from the start and put us at our ease.

After a split day in Kenya visiting the Giraffe project and David Sheldrick's elephant orphanage (both which were excellent) we flew on to Kilimanjaro where we were met but our superb guide Malisa.
Malisa then spent the next 9 days as chauffer, guide, animal spotter, bird identifier and hopefully friend. His driving skills, knowledge and infectious smile really made our holiday, he soon became one of the gang.

Each night we lodged at a different place (our choice to cram in as much as possible) from Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti all the accommodation was first class as were the staff and food. The breakfast boxes and packed lunches had to be seen to be believed.

Now to the main purpose of the visit, the animals, we saw the big 5, 57 giraffes in one group, over 100 lion sightings, elephants, hippos, hyenas and cheetahs to name but a few, birds to many to mention and all thanks to our guides knowledge and expertise.

Originally this was going to be a one off adventure but we were so impressed with Calabash, their owner Tilya and our guide Malisa that we are saving like mad to return.

Thank you

Masai Mara
4/5

My partner and I took a three day safari to Masai Mara and couldn't be happier with the experience. The trip is really well organized, we were really lucky that other travellers in our small group were really nice and respectful, and so were the team of drivers and assistants who shared music and stories with us. We got to see zebras, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, lions, wildebeests, gazelles, elands, antelopes, buffalos, hippos, crocodiles, hyenas, jackals, topis, ostriches and some other amazing birds. The accommodation was nice and comfortable, the food was good (vegan friendly), and the whole trip was worth it. We also got to visit a Masai village and interact with locals and learn about their costumes. Highly recommended.

Wow!
5/5

So hard to return to England after such an amazing adventure! I travelled with 3 other women in their 60/70's and our lovely driver Modest. ISIA sorted out all the details and were flexible, helpful and accommodating throughout. It was expensive, but for such a magical experience in a wonderful country, staying at welcoming comfortable tented lodges with good food and service, it was well worthwhile, never mind the totally amazing animals roaming wild and free. Never imagined I'd see so many mammals and often very close up, plus the large variety of birds, plants and trees. It was good to meet the Maasai and hear about their culture and experiences and to visit Olduvai gorge and museum to contemplate our common ancestry.
What a packed exciting African adventure. Many thanks to all

Great safari experience with Eastern Sun Tours, incredible trip!!!
5/5

We did a safari of 5 days with Eastern Sun to Tarangire Park, Serengueti and Ngorongoro Crater and the experience was amazing!!! The trip surpassed our expectations in every posible way. The kind and always prompt attention of Mercy, the unique and outstanding skills of our driver Amani, who was extremely kind doing his best so we could see as many animals as possible. We were able to see hundreds of thousands of animals, migrating, eating, playing, hanging around. The lodges picked
by Eastern were great! Like the ones showed at a travel Magazine. We will definitely recommend choosing Eastern Sun as a company that provides a great deal for doing a safari in Tanzania!!

Asante Sana!!!!!

Couldn't have been any better
5/5

Compass Odyssey run by Darren and Kate did an absolutely superb job planning my wife and I the perfect honeymoon. For over 10 months we worked together to come up with the the best itinerary to fit our time frame and budget. They were attentive, trustworthy, knowledgeable and took care of us like know one else would have been able to. There wasn't a single hiccup for the entire two week trip. This included a stay in Cape Town, three internal flights, two different safari camps over five nights, three nights in Victoria Falls and a drive to Botswana. Each place we stayed knew Darren and Kate had booked us there and told us how lucky we were to have them looking after us. They all knew we were on our honeymoon as well which was a nice touch. There were so many moving parts to figure out but Darren and Kate planned it out and executed it flawlessly. I would 100% recommend them to anyone looking to have the trip of a lifetime in Africa.

Great days in QENP!
5/5

We spent 3 great days in QENP in October with an excellent, reliable driver! Our tour was perfectly organized by Twaha(Klaus) and we always had a safe journey with our driver and guide Remi. Our trip included game drives, a trip on Kazinga Channel, a visit to a Fishing village and Chimpanzee Trecking in Kyambura Gorge. We saw a lot of animals, had a wonderful time and really enjoyed this absolutely fantastic experience! Thanks to Twaha and Remi for this amazing tour!!!

Best holiday experience ever!
5/5

We had a great time with Asahambe Adventures. We were lucky enough to see all of the Big 5 and a lot of smaller game too. I was so impressed with Jonathan's extensive knowledge of the wildlife as well as all the effort he put into meeting our expectations. I would recommend him to any of my friends and family for a great holiday experience!

Excellent
5/5

It was a well organized trip covering several National parks (Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Naivasha). We were pleased with our safari experience with Jocky Tours. Our safari trip far exceeded our expectations. The accommodations were wonderful luxury lodges with great facilities. I also thank John our driver/guide who was very friendly and deeply knowledgeable about parks and the characteristics of all the animals and birds. The price of safari was reasonable. Thanks to Minneh.
Highly recommended safaries with this company!
