Having lived here and met thousands of people from all over the world who have saved for years for a 2 week holiday to Kenya - I am very happy to have been able to travel all over the country with my tree planting job and validate just why so many people come to visit this country. Its simply breathtaking!

Excellent staff, professional service
5/5

I used Africa Unike Adventures and Safaris for my trip to Kenya and Tanzania. They are extremely professional, friendly, prompt in communication, and have very courteous tour guides.

I originally planned the trip for Dec 2015 but the trip had to be cancelled for personal reasons. They had taken the time and effort to prepare a detailed itinerary based on my interests and time and did not push me to make any decision whatsoever. This made me to go back to them when we decided to make the trip in Apr 2016.

Again, Eunice and Paul were outstanding in accommodating all my requests to ensure the trip was well organized and they were prompt with all communication. Paul took the time to meet us personally in Kenya, explain the itinerary, and made sure we had no concerns.

The tour guides (Jackson in Kenya and Saba in Tanzania) arranged were also very professional and courteous. They made sure we got sufficient time to see wildlife and were very patient. They were very enthusiastic too, particularly, Saba in Tanzania. It was overall a memorable trip.

I highly recommend their service.

Organisation was perfect, friendly and experienced.
5/5

We went to Jinja on a quat safari.
On time pick up, neath and big bus for us.
On our way we stopped to have and made a pause.
They know Uganda by heart, very good guide, was telling stories.
Before we knew we were at destination.
Well organised, upon arrival our quat guide was waiting for us with the quats and clothes to wear. Gave us some general rules and wished us a lot of fun :)
On the way back we stopped at fruitmarket.

Hluhluwe Game Reserve, Isimangaliso Wetlands, and Durban
5/5

While friends I was traveling with in SA went off for 4 days to an exceeding expensive game reserve in Sabi Sands, I chose to explore Durban and surroundings instead. I’m delighted I did.
Rowly met my early AM flight from Cape Town, and we drove up the coast through a sugar cane landscape to St Lucia, where we had a few hours in the beautiful Isimangaliso Wetlands before driving directly inland to Hluhluwe Game Reserve. Arriving at the Hilltop Lodge, I joined a 5-8PM game drive, and, after overnighting there, another from 5-8AM. It was a great experience---for me the right amount of time---and one that Rowly facilitated and contributed to.
Rowly was very dependable and accommodating, has deep roots in the area and a great deal of knowledge of it, and was good company, which was important as it was just the two of us.
I was so pleased that I arranged for Rowly to give me a tour of Durban the following afternoon. (In the morning, I visited to the Campbell Collection, which I’d recommend to anyone with a cultural interest, especially if you can take the time to read the fascinating explanation of the Zulu beadwork on display.) If I had an extra day or two, I would have taken a tour with Rowly into the Drakensberg---next time.
Now home, I have fond memories of it all, including Durban itself, with its beautiful beachfront, surprising harbor, botanical garden and steeply hilly neighborhoods with vistas of the Indian Ocean.

Very good safari experience
4/5

The safari was arranged in a group of about 8 people. Everything important worked fine. The driver/host was adequately on top of things and knew the masai mara area and wildlife well. There were smaller issues like we had to do some negotiations to get our waters and some hassle around they drives (expected in africa, though). I would really recommend this operator taken, of course, that this is a budget safari.

Recommendations:
- Surprise, surprise 1 litre of water is not enough per day -> buy some of your own
- The food is provided but sometimes the gaps between are quite long -> if you get hungry easily take for example protein bars with you.
- If you do participate the visit to masai village, prepare for an interesting evening but also some quite manipulative selling situations.

Great time in Kenya and Tanzania
5/5

Communication was good, service was good. No complaints. We left some stuff in one of our huts at the Masai Mara and only realized it after we reached Arusha, Tanzania. Our guide was great and sent for it and had it delivered to us the next day. Then, we did it again and left some stuff behind in Arusha when we headed off to Zanzibar. Again, they helped us and our stuff arrived the next day to our hotel in Zanzibar. No problems and didn't ask us for any money or anything. Just good, considerate, efficient and friendly service. Thanks AbsoluteHoliday Safaris!

Amazing Tour Operator and Guides = Amazing Climb!!!
5/5

We researched 4 different tour operators, but Kilimanjaro Brothers (KB) won the day (and our business) with quick email responses, George Mtaki's personal phone calls, competitive pricing, and excellent service and guides. Kilimanjaro Brothers is a local Moshi, Tanzania tour operator and thus 100% our fees stayed in Moshi and the local area.

George and his sister met us at the airport to facilitate our arrival to the hotel late on our first night in the area. Upon KB's recommendation for the rainy season, we signed up for the 6-day trip (on the mountain with 1-day acclimatization) utilizing the Marangu Route and its huts--perfect for the 3 afternoons of wet weather. We were treated like family with great hospitality. The daily service and food was superb--our server and porters were kind and respectful. The guide and assistant guide were extremely knowledgeable and exceptionally helpful. In fact our head guide, Priscus, volunteered to carry my day pack from the Kibo Huts to the summit which helped a 67-year-old dad reach the summit with his two sons.

Not only was it a great climbing but enjoyable cultural experience as well as 2 nationalities intertwined for 7 days and enjoyed a wonderful associations that will last a lifetime.

The outstanding hospitality continued as George met us at 5:00 am to see that we got off properly for our safari day to the Ngorongoro Crater. On our last day in the area we had no plans, so George volunteered with one of his associates and took us around Arusha. They made sure that we enjoyed the local sites and arrived timely at the airport that evening for our return flight.

I and my 2 sons highly recommend Kilimanjaro Brothers for your next climbing and safari adventure. George Mtaki, and his associates, will exceed your expectations for the adventure and experience of a lifetime.

acz safari is the way to go!
5/5

jambo John ,the tour operator is a hands on type guy who will do anything(Including offering to by you a guiness) to make sure your safari meets your expectations. From the Nairobi hotel he recommended(I highly recommend the kwezha)The personal tour he took me on in Nairobi(the elephant orphanage, the giraffe shelter and the cultural was great and highly recommended. The night staying with Alex with his family in the Masai village ,eating and sleeping with these precious people, was the highlight of my time in Kenya.I would recommend staying at the manyatta Lodge or the sopa. The budget choice was not worth the savings. If you can get 2 to 3 couples to go with you. You'll make memories to last a lifetime.I was on my own and had a Kansas grad on my safari which was fun as we had just knocked them off in the NCAA's on the way to a national championship ( i told her we'd go easy on them next year;NOT)so either way you'll have a great time.you won't regret choosing acz for your 3 day safari
